Biblical Pro for LUNAR Sabbath By John D. Keyser T he Bible teaches that all s are ordinary works unless YEHOVAH God deems m orwise. With no adding to or taking away from Bible, all s are ordinary s except ones He designates as worship s. For example Bible shows us that after six works we are to rest (see Genesis 2:2; Exodus 16:26; Exodus 20:8-11 and Leviticus 23:3.) Not only are we to rest on this, but it is also a worship a holy set apart (sanctified) as an intermission from previous works. Intermission or rest from what? The six ordinary works! The sun rises and sets on every alike, but moon tells us which ones are not ordinary s. These s are intermissions, and without moon we would not know which s YEHOVAH God has chosen. The moon signals s with its light as it increases and decreases. In Ezekiel 46:1-3 we learn that New Moon (first month) is also an intermission. Notice! Thus says LORD God: "The gateway inner court that faces toward east shall be shut six working s; but on Sabbath it shall be opened, and on New Moon it shall be opened. The prince shall enter by way vestibule that gateway from outside, and stand by gatepost. The priests shall prepare his burnt fering and his peace ferings. He shall worship at threshold gate. Then he shall go out, but gate shall not be shut until evening. Likewise people land shall worship at entrance to this gateway before LORD on Sabbaths and New Moons. Also, notice Isaiah 66:23:

"And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to anor, and from one Sabbath to anor, all flesh shall come to worship before Me," says LORD. In Numbers 28:11-14 ferings for New Moon are outlined by YEHOVAH God: At beginnings your months you shall present a burnt fering to LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs in ir first year, without blemish; three-tenths an ephah fine flour as a grain fering, mixed with oil, for one ram; and one-tenth an ephah fine flour, mixed with oil, as a grain fering for each lamb, as a burnt fering sweet aroma, an fering made by fire to LORD. Their drink fering shall be half a hin wine for a bull, one-third a hin for a ram, and one-fourth a hin for a lamb; this is burnt fering for each month throughout months year. Then, in Numbers 10, a furr part ritual for New Moon s and appointments is described: Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make m hammered work; you shall use m for calling assembly and for directing movement camps... And when congregation is to be gared toger, you shall blow, but not sound advance. The sons Aaron, priests, shall blow trumpets; and se shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations... Also, in your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at beginning your months, you shall blow trumpets over your burnt ferings and over sacrifices your peace ferings; and y shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am LORD your God (verses 2, 7 and 8, 10.) The New Moon seventh month (Tishri) is especially important to YEHOVAH God, and He ordained extra ferings for that. Notice: And in seventh month, on first month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a blowing trumpets. You shall fer a burnt fering as a sweet aroma to LORD: one young bull, one ram, and seven lambs in ir first year, without blemish. Their grain fering shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths an ephah for bull, two-tenths

for ram, and one-tenth for each seven lambs; also one kid goats as a sin fering, to make atonement for you; besides burnt fering with its grain fering for New Moon, regular burnt fering with its grain fering, and ir drink ferings, according to ir ordinance, as a sweet aroma, an fering made by fire to LORD (Numbers 29:1-6.) The fact that New Moon is a Sabbath rest is unequivocally stated by YEHOVAH God in Leviticus 23:24 take special note this: Speak to children Israel, saying: 'In seventh month, on first month, you shall have a Sabbath rest, a memorial blowing trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall fer an fering made by fire to LORD.' The ordinary New Moon s or months are also s blowing trumpets so, se too, are Sabbath rests. In this 7 th month (Tishri), and on 15 th moon, is an intermission (Sukkot or Tabernacles). Along with 1 st (New Moon), 8 th (weekly Sabbath), 10 th (Yom Kippur or Atonement), 22 nd (weekly Sabbath and Shmini Atzeret) and 29 th (weekly Sabbath), we are to assemble for worship. Leviticus 23:3 clearly teaches us that after six ordinary work s re will be a worship. Without question it is quite obvious that New Moon is not one ordinary work s. YEHOVAH God wants us to work those six s, but we are admonished to rest after six work s which, in 7 th month, would be 8 th moon. We are not forbidden to work on 9 th, but are commanded to rest and worship on 10 th with no food. After 10 th re is no commandment not to work on 11 th through 14 th s moon except, course, with man's calendar! After 10 th has passed, we can eat and work on 11 th through 14 th but we are commanded to rest on 15 th. It is a worship see Numbers 29:12. Now we are not commanded to fast or worship next six s (16 th through 21 st ), but we are ordered to dwell in booths seven s from 15 th to 21 st (Leviticus 23:40-43.) We are n ordered to keep 8 th counting from 15 th which is 22 nd (anor worship or Sabbath.)

Counting on with YEHOVAH God's instructions, re is no Holy worship on 23 rd through 28 th, but pattern rest and worship after six works would apply on 29 th unless, course, you use man's Gregorian calendar to. The Bible plainly teaches that New Moon is a worship a no buying or selling, and not one ordinary works (Ezekiel 46:1; Isaiah 66:23 and Amos 8:5.) After that, re is no commandment not to work on 2 moon through 7, but we must take an intermission on 8 for worshiping YEHOVAH God because it is seventh or Sabbath from 1 st work after New Moon worship. Then six more works, n rest and worship on 15 th, etc. This goes on year after year from one New Moon to anor and one Sabbath to anor. To furr prove appointments (intermissions) are after six working s (not counting New Moon) let's look at following examples in Bible. EXODUS 16: YEHOVAH God has left us clues in His holy word Bible clues that we can easily piece toger and learn how to determine YEHOVAH's Sabbath! For first clue, let's turn to book Exodus, chapter 16: And y journeyed from Elim, and all congregation children Israel came to Wilderness Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on fifteenth second month after y departed from land Egypt. Then whole congregation children Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in wilderness. And children Israel said to m, "Oh, that we had died by hand Lord in land Egypt, when we sat by pots meat and when we ate bread to full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger." Then Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And people shall go out and gar a certain quota every, that I may test m, wher y will walk in My law or not" (New King James Version, verses 1-4.) These verses are much clearer in Septuagint version Old Testament, which reads as follows:

And y departed from Elim, and all congregation children Israel came to wilderness Sin, which is between Elim and Sina; and on fifteenth, in second month after ir departure from land Egypt, all congregation children Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron. And children Israel said to m, Would we had died smitten by Lord in land Egypt, when we sat by flesh-pots, and ate bread to satiety! for ye have brought us out into this wilderness, to slay all this congregation with hunger. And Lord said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread upon you out heaven: and people shall go forth, and y shall gar ir daily portion for, that I may try m wher y will walk in My law or not. These verses bring out two main points, (1) Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron on 15 th second month after leaving Egypt and, (2) YEHOVAH God was going to test Israelites to see if y would walk in His law or not. It is very interesting that Moses should mention exact that Israelites murmured against him and Aaron in wilderness nowhere else in narrative Israelites' wanderings from Egypt to Promised Land is an exact date mentioned. This clearly indicates that this date was important to YEHOVAH God and that He wanted Israelites to remember it. Also, on this date He was going to teach Israelites something very important to test m and see if y would obey Him or not. What was this important lesson? Let's continue in Exodus 16: "And it shall be on sixth that y shall prepare what y bring in, and it shall be twice as much as y gar daily." Then Moses and Aaron said to all children Israel, "At evening you shall know that Lord has brought you out land Egypt. And in morning you shall see glory Lord; for He hears your murmurings against Lord. But what are we, that you murmur against us?"...now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to whole congregation children Israel, that y looked toward wilderness, and behold, glory Lord appeared in cloud. And Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "I have heard murmurings children Israel. Speak to m, saying, At twilight [evening, after sunset] you shall eat meat, and in morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am Lord your God. ' So it

was that quail came up at evening and covered camp (verses 5-13.) This 15th second month was so important to YEHOVAH God that He appeared in cloud before Israelites and n caused thousands (maybe millions) quail to be blown into Israelites' camp "at twilight," i.e. after sunset 15 th. Why was this so important to YEHOVAH God? Writes Herbert W. Armstrong: "I will show you that God was speaking to m [ children Israel] on a Sabbath. It is evident that Eternal first preached to men on first Sabbath. Adam was created on sixth creation Evidently he was created in late afternoon, since creation man was last act creation on that. When sun had set, immediately after Adam's creation, God preached to him, fering him gift eternal life (through tree life), and warning that wages sin is death (Gen. 2:15-17.) "And here God is again preaching to Israel, through Moses, on Sabbath" (Which Day Is Christian Sabbath, pp ) Now let's continue with narrative in Exodus 16:... And in morning dew lay all around camp. And when layer dew lifted, re, on surface wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on ground. So when children Israel saw it, y said to one anor, 'What is it?' For y did not know what it was. And Moses said to m, 'This is bread which Lord has given you to eat.'... So y gared it every morning, every man according to his need. And when sun became hot, it melted. And so it was on sixth, that y gared twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all rulers congregation came and told Moses. Then he said to m, 'This is what Lord has said: "Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to Lord. Bake what you will bake to, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning!"' So y laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were re any worms in it. Then Moses said, 'Eat that to, for to is a Sabbath to Lord; to you will not find it in field. Six s you shall gar it, but on seventh, which is Sabbath, re will be none.'

Now it happened that some people went out on seventh to gar, but y found none. And Lord said to Moses, 'How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws? See! For Lord has given you Sabbath; refore He gives you on sixth bread for two s. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out his place on seventh.' So people rested on seventh (verses ) Starting on 16 th month, YEHOVAH God provided food for Israelites n, on seventh after 15 th, He did not provide any manna reby showing that this ( 22 nd month) was a Sabbath. Obviously, if 15 th was seven s before 22 nd, it too was a Sabbath! This Herbert Armstrong clearly understood. We can see here that YEHOVAH was setting up His weekly Sabbath cycle for Israelites. If 15 th and 22 nd were Sabbath s, n 8 th and 29 th month were also Sabbaths! So here we see a pattern 8th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th. What significance do se dates have? Just this y correspond to phases moon!! YEHOVAH God was showing Israelites that His Sabbath s were to fall on s corresponding to moon's phases, thus showing that weekly Sabbaths were to be kept by same calendar or reckoning used to determine annual Sabbaths or feast s! I ask you, why would YEHOVAH God complicate Israelites' lives by having m keep two calendars or reckonings one for weekly Sabbath and one for annual holy s? This makes no sense whatsoever! YEHOVAH God set up one calendar for all His s not two! Second Month 15th 16th 17th 18th 19th 20th 21st 22nd Sabbath. Shekinah Glory appears. 1st Day. Single portion manna. Quail appear after sunset previous. 2nd Day. Single portion manna. 3rd Day. Single portion manna. 4th Day. Single portion manna. 5th Day. Single portion manna. 6th Day. Double portion manna. Sabbath. No manna.

EXODUS 40:12-15: Aaron and his sons were sanctified for seven s (Leviticus 8:33) which began on a New Moon (Exodus 40:2) on 8 th was an assembly (Moed) congregation. The point we should notice is that during se seven s y were not to go out door tabernacle for seven s, and night see Leviticus 8: No calendar Sabbath would disrupt se seven s consecration because it was from New Moon till 7 th moon and after six works y assembled congregation. Why did y assemble congregation? To observe 7 th Sabbath which fell on 8 th moon! In Exodus 40:2 YEHOVAH God spoke to Moses saying: "On first [New Moon] first month you shall set up tabernacle tent meeting." Then, in Exodus 40:12-15, Moses was commanded to anoint Aaron and his sons and dress m in Holy garments; and Verse 17 says: "And it came to pass in first month second year, on first month, that tabernacle was raised up." The rest chapter explains what was placed in tabernacle, and Leviticus 1:1 says that YEHOVAH God called to Moses from out tabernacle and instructed him furr. Now, this is still on New Moon. We must remember that Bible is broken up by man into chapters, verses and books when quite ten train thought continues on. In Chapter 8:3 Leviticus Moses is instructed to gar congregation (still on New Moon ) and in verses 6-13 Moses brings Aaron and his sons and puts Holy garments on m and anoints tabernacle along with Aaron and his sons as YEHOVAH God commanded. Then, in verse 33, y are commanded not to go out tabernacle for seven s. But, on 8 th (Sabbath) YEHOVAH God appears to m: "It came to pass on eighth that Moses called Aaron and his sons and elders Israel... And Moses and Aaron went into tabernacle meeting, and came out and blessed people. Then glory LORD [Shekinah] appeared to all people, and fire came out from before LORD and consumed burnt fering and fat on altar... (Leviticus 9:1 and 9:23-24.) This clearly places weekly Sabbaths on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th!

New Moon 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th Tabernacle raised up. Moses instructed to gar congregation. Moses anoints Tabernacle and Aaron and his sons. Aaron and sons confined to Tabernacle for 7 s. 2nd confinement. 3rd confinement. 4th confinement. 5th confinement. 6th confinement. 7th confinement. Moses and Aaron go into Tabernacle Meeting. YEHOVAH's Shekinah Glory appears. Sabbath Day. LEVITICUS 14:1-10: In Leviticus 14, verses 1 through 10, we learn about law leper: The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: This shall be ritual for a leper at time that he has to be cleansed. When it has been reported to priest, priest shall go outside camp. If priest sees that leper has been healed his scaly affection, priest shall order two live clean birds, cedar wood, crimson stuff, and hyssop to be brought for him who is to be cleansed... The one to be cleansed shall wash his clos, shave f all his hair, and ba in water; n he shall be clean. After that he may enter camp, but he must remain outside his tent seven s. On seventh he shall shave f all his hair -- head, beard, and eyebrows. When he has shaved f all his hair, he shall wash his clos and ba his body in water; n he shall be clean. On eighth he shall take two male lambs without blemish, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish, three-tenths a measure choice flour with oil mixed in for a meal fering, and one log oil. These shall be presented before LORD, with man to be cleansed, at entrance Tent Meeting, by priest who performs cleansing.

The point here is that if seven- count began on any or except an intermission leper would sometimes have to do his laundry on a Sabbath which was absolutely forbidden by YEHOVAH's law. The reason this 7 th is not a Sabbath is because (1) he couldn't wash his clos, etc. on Sabbath, and (2) because it is not 8 th from when he showed himself to Priest on Sabbath, and (3) it is not 7 th after six works. Therefore, this 7 th was actually sixth work. In Bible 8 th is many times synonymous with weekly Sabbath. Notice John 7:22-23: Moses refore gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from fars), and you circumcise a man on Sabbath. If a man receives circumcision on Sabbath, so that law Moses should not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a man completely well on Sabbath? Now notice what Acts 7, verse 8 says: Then He [YEHOVAH God] gave him covenant circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on eighth ; and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot twelve patriarchs. What better to enter this covenant than on Sabbath? The Sabbath and 8 th are synonymous. If 8 th is Sabbath, n 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th are also Sabbath s! [Scroll down for chart.]

Intermission Day 1st Day Week 2nd Day Week 3rd Day Week 4th Day Week 5th Day Week 6th Day Week Intermission Day Beginning confinement. 2nd confinement. 3rd confinement 4th confinement 5th confinement 6th confinement 7th confinement Shaves hair and washes clos. Offerings presented before YEHOVAH at entrance to Tent Meeting. Sabbath Day. II CHRONICLES 7:8: In II Chronicles 7:7-8 we read following: Solomon consecrated center court in front House LORD... At that time Solomon kept Feast for seven s all Israel with him a great assemblage from Lebo-hamath to Wadi Egypt. On eighth y held a solemn garing; y observed dedication altar seven s, and Feast seven s. On twenty-third seventh month he dismissed people to ir homes, rejoicing and in good spirits over goodness that LORD had shown to David and Solomon and His people Israel. When Temple was dedicated it always began on an intermission or Sabbath -- just like sanctification Aaron and his sons. The example in II Chronicles 7:7-8 shows that Solomon kept dedication altar for seven s (8th through 14th moon) and n Feast Tabernacles for next seven s (15 th through 21 st moon); and in 8 th (22 nd moon) y made a solemn assembly. On 23 rd he sent people away. Why is 22 nd moon called 8 th? Because it was eight s from previous Sabbath! We have already seen that New Testament (John 7:22-23 and Acts 7:8) calls 8 th Sabbath.

From New Moon to 8 th (Sabbath) we have eight s; from 8 th to 15 th (Sabbath plus first Tabernacles) we have anor eight s; and from 15 th to 22 nd (Sabbath plus Shmini Atzeret) we anor eight s. The next Sabbath or intermission from here is 29 th. There are 4 weekly Sabbaths in each moon. When you count from Sabbath to Sabbath re are 8 s just like in Isaiah 66:23 where you have "from one New Moon to anor" and "from one Sabbath to anor" (eight s apart.) This proves that Solomon kept 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th s moon as Sabbaths and never counted New Moon as one six works. If 8 th wasn't a Sabbath from last Sabbath, n a leper or someone under a Nazirite vow, would have to wash his clos and shave his body on a weekly Sabbath which was forbidden. Cleansing took place from Sabbath to Sabbath. Remember that Sabbath that ends a week also begins a new week on an eight count. You would observe a Sabbath n work six s and rest on 7th which will always be on 8th from last intermission or Sabbath for worship. Sabbaths are recorded from Sabbath to Sabbath in Bible. Ezekiel 46:1 and Isaiah 66:23 show that gates to Temple were to be shut six working s and open on Sabbaths and Day New Moon. You have New Moon with Temple gates open, n six working s (2 nd to 7 th moon) with gates closed. Then you rest on 7 th which is 8 th (gates open) from New Moon, work anor six s (9 th to 14 th ) and rest on 7 th which is 8 th again (from last Sabbath) and is 15 th moon. Then eight s from this is 22 nd moon and anor Sabbath, etc. ESTHER 9: In ninth chapter Esr we find furr pro that 15 th moon was kept as a rest. Notice! Now in twelfth month, that is, month Adar, on thirteenth, time came for king's command and his decree to be executed... Thus Jews defeated all ir enemies with stroke sword, with slaughter and destruction, and did what y pleased with those who hated m.... And Jews who were in Shushan gared toger again on fourteenth month Adar and killed three hundred men at Shushan; but y did not lay a

hand on plunder... But Jews who were at Shushan assembled toger on thirteenth, as well as on fourteenth ; and on fifteenth month y rested, and made it a feasting and gladness (Verses 1, 5, 15 and 18) Notice in this chapter that 13 th and 14 th were s y got victories, while 15 th was y rested. Clearly, refore, y were keeping Sabbath on 15 th moon. This being case, y would also be keeping it on 8 th, 22 nd and 29 th! At this time y decided to keep 14 th, along with 15 th, every 12 th moon (month) to commemorate receiving rest from ir enemies (Esr 9:22.) Since Jews were commanded to remember 15 th and keep it Holy in remembrance YEHOVAH God who, with a mighty hand, gave m rest from ir enemies, do you think y would count one through fifteen over and over again to remember 15 th? Or would y continue to use only calendar Bible speaks Heavenly lights? YEHOVAH God commanded Israelites to remember Sabbath because He brought m out bondage in Egypt with a mighty hand, and it was 15 th when He gave m an intermission or Sabbath. Notice Deuteronomy 5:15: Remember that you were a slave in land Egypt and LORD your God freed you from re with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; refore LORD your God has commanded you to observe Sabbath. Then, in Numbers 33:3, we read: They set out from Rameses in first month, on fifteenth first month. It was on morrow Passover fering that Israelites started out defiantly, in plain view all Egyptians. Here YEHOVAH God equates 15 th first month with Sabbath! Also, He calls it " morrow Passover fering" indicating that weekly Sabbath and first Passover fall on same! Now if Sabbath was on 15 th 1 st moon (month) when y were delivered from Egypt and also on 15 th 2 nd moon (month) it would be impossible to use Roman Calendar count 1 through 7 (and counting New Moon as one six work s) and have weekly Sabbath fall on 15 th two moons or

months in a row! Not only that, but it is apparent that Exodus 19:1 and 2 teaches that Sabbath was also on 15 th in 3rd month: On third new moon, after Israelites had gone forth from land Egypt, on that very, y entered wilderness Sinai. Having journeyed from Rephidim, y entered wilderness Sinai and encamped in wilderness. Israel encamped re in front mountain... This makes THREE months in a row that Sabbath was on 15 th which furr increases (if that were possible) impossibility this happening with Roman Calendar! JOSHUA 5:10-12: In comparing Joshua 5:10-12 with Leviticus 23:10-11, 14 we find furr confirmation that weekly Sabbath falls on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th each month (moon) notice: And children Israel kept Passover on fourteenth month at evening, to westward Jericho on opposite side Jordan in plain. And y ate grain earth unleavened and new corn. In this manna failed, after y had eaten corn land, and children Israel no longer had manna; and y took fruits land Phoenicians in that year (Joshua 5:10-12, Septuagint.) When ye shall enter into land which I give you, and reap harvest it, n ye shall bring a sheaf, first-fruits your harvest, to priest; and he shall lift up sheaf before LORD, to be accepted for you. On morrow first [ Unleavened Bread] priest shall lift it up... And ye shall not eat bread, or new parched corn, until this same, until ye fer sacrifices to your God: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings (Leviticus 23:10-11, 14, Septuagint.) In Leviticus 23:10 it states that when Israelites came into land y were to wave sheaf first-fruits on morrow after Sabbath, and verse 15 says that y were to begin a count on morrow after y brought sheaf to priest to be fered and verse 14 says y could not eat new parched corn etc. until same y brought fering. Now both Josephus and Philo

agree that this would always be on 16 th moon ( morrow after Sabbath on 15 th ) when priest would wave sheaf and y lived during time Priesthood was still active. This indubitably means Sabbath will always be on 15 th every year and only way this can happen is to count Sabbaths by moon. It also proves that Sabbath in first month or moon each year will be on 15 th without fail, which is absolutely impossible to happen on Roman calendar count. Now in Joshua 5:11 we saw that when Israelites came into land y did exactly what YEHOVAH God told m. They kept Passover on 14 th at even (night, that begins 15 th ) and verse 10 states that y ate parched (new) corn etc. on morrow after Passover (next ) which would be 16 th, and proves, once again, that 15 th was Sabbath and 16 th was morrow after as two historians who watched Priest doing it this way confirm. And manna ceased on same morrow or ( 16 th ) after 40 years. It had begun 40 years earlier on 16 th, as we have already seen in 16 th chapter Exodus. Some misguided individuals try to say that 14 th was Sabbath in Joshua chapter 5, but if that were so n counting backward we would come to 7 th moon that would also be a Sabbath. However, in Joshua 1:11 Joshua instructs ficers to pass through camp and command people to prepare food because in three s y would pass over Jordan River notice: Go through camp and charge people, thus: Get provisions ready, for in three s' time you are to cross Jordan, in order to enter and possess land that LORD your God is giving you as a possession. Now this had to be 7th moon because y passed over Jordan on 10th moon "The people came up from Jordan on tenth first month, and encamped at Gilgal on eastern border Jericho" (Joshua 4:19.) They would not command people to prepare food on Sabbath which proves 7 th was not Sabbath and, refore, 14 th was not eir. The 8 th was Sabbath, n 15 th. You can easily mamatically prove 14 th was not a Sabbath by counting 1-7 from pinpointed Sabbath we discussed in 16 th chapter Exodus and you will find that 14 th was not Sabbath at end 40 years.

NISAN 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th 16th Israelites get provisions ready. 6th Sabbath Day. 1st Israelites passed over Jordan. 2nd 3rd 4th 5th Preparation Day for weekly Sabbath. Sabbath Day. 1st Unleavened Bread. Wave Sheaf fering. Israelites ate new parched corn. Manna ceases after 40 years. JOHN 5: In John 5:1 we read that "after this re was a feast Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem." All commentaries and Bible notes explain that this was first Passover season, i.e. 15 th moon. Now, in verses 2 through 8 we continue: Now re is in Jerusalem by Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Besda, having five porches. In se lay a great multitude sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed... Now a certain man was re who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying re, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"... Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." Now this occurred on same first Unleavened Bread ( 15 th.) The very next verse (9) explains that this was also weekly Sabbath! Notice: And immediately man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that was Sabbath. The Greek word here for "Sabbath" is Sabbaton which means weekly Sabbath or rest. So Sabbath in verse 9 is same as Feast in verse

1 showing once again that weekly Sabbath falls on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th moon. It also shows that y did not count New Moon as one six works. JOHN 9:14: In Book John we find more conclusive evidence showing that Messiah kept weekly Sabbath on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th s moon or month. Starting in John 7:2, we read that " Jews Feast Tabernacles was at hand." Moving down to verse 10 we learn that "when his [Yeshua's] brors had gone up [to Jerusalem for Feast], n he also went up to feast, not openly, but as it were in secret." Then, on last Feast Tabernacles ( 21 st ), "Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink " (John 9:37.) John 8:1 tells us that right after this (on same 21 st ) "Jesus went to Mount Olives" but "early in morning ( next 22 nd ) he came again into Temple and all people came to him and he sat down and taught m" (verse 2.) So Messiah came again into Temple on 22nd moon which in this month was Shmini Atzeret. Verse 59 indicates that after Jews became upset with him and tried to stone him "he hid himself and went out Temple, going through midst m, and so passed by." Now Chapter 9, verse 1, continues by relating that "as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from birth." Taking pity on man, Messiah "spat on ground and made clay with saliva; and he anointed eyes blind man with clay" (verse 6) who, in verse 7, was able to see for first time. Now, what did this occur on? We already know it was 22 nd moon and also Shmini Atzeret but what else was it? Notice! "Now it was on a Sabbath when Jesus made clay and opened his eyes" (verse 14.) Once again, word for "Sabbath" in this verse is Sabbaton meaning weekly Sabbath. This is furr confirmed in verse 16 where some Pharisees said "this man is not from God, because he does not keep Sabbath." Same word, same meaning. Clearly, Sabbath in this week fell on 22 nd, which means or Sabbaths month fell on 8 th, 15 th and 29 th! And Yeshua Messiah kept se s as his custom was. How can we fail to see that se Sabbaths are always on set s moon? And here again, Messiah was keeping Heavenly Sabbaths that were created by Heavenly calendar not mans'. The Sabbath here was on 22 nd, which

means Sabbath also fell on 8 th, 15 th and 29 th s this month as in all or months! TISHRI 21st 22nd Yeshua goes to Jerusalem for Feast (John 7:10). Last Feast Tabernacles. Yeshua cries out in Temple (John 7:37). Goes to Mount Olives (John 8:1). Shemini Atzeret. Yeshua returns to Temple and teaches (John 8:2). Yeshua leaves Temple under threat stoning (John 8:59). Sees man blind from birth (John 9:1). Anoints eyes blind man with clay (John 9:6. Weekly Sabbath (John 9:14). JOHN 19:31: Let's first go to Mark 15:42 in Jewish New Testament: Since it was Preparation Day (that is, before a shabbat), as evening approached, Yosef Ramatayim, a prominent member Sanhedrin who himself was also looking forward to Kingdom God went boldly to Pilate and asked for Yeshua's body. In a footnote this New Testament remarks "Shab.bat Sabbath," implying a weekly Sabbath. In Luke 23:54, narrating same time period, we find: "It was Preparation Day, and a Shabbat was about to begin." Once again, footnote to this verse says "Shab.bat Sabbath" also implying weekly Sabbath. Now, if we drop down to Luke 23:56 we read "On Shabbat women rested, in obedience to commandment." What "commandment" is this? The fourth commandment course! In reference to this verse Jewish New Testament Commentary makes this clarifying statement: "It is sometimes claimed that New Testament says nothing about keeping fourth commandment. This verse contradicts that claim, so it is important for a Jewish understanding New Testament. On Shabbat Women rested, in obedience to fourth

commandment (Exodus 20:8-11, Deuteronomy 5:12-15; also Exodus 16.) Of course y did! They observed Shabbat every week" (by David H. Stern, p. 150.) Obviously, weekly Sabbath is focus verses 54 and 56. Now that we have established weekly Sabbath is focus se verses, let's go to John 19:31 in Jewish New Testament and read what apostle John has to say: "It was Preparation Day, and Judeans did not want bodies to remain on stake on Shabbat, since it was an especially important Shabbat." The New King James version makes it clearer: "Therefore, because it was Preparation Day, that bodies should not remain on cross on [weekly] Sabbath (for that [weekly] Sabbath was a High.)" What "high " was this? My Bible references it to Exodus 12:16 first holy Feast Unleavened Bread! Therefore and notice this we have here two Sabbaths on same weekly Sabbath and first High or holy Feast Unleavened Bread. This is exactly what we would expect if Jews Messiah's time were keeping weeks according to lunar cycle! This particular was Nisan 15 and, according to lunar reckoning, was always a weekly Sabbath and a high! During Crucifixion week weekly Sabbath is on 15 th Nisan. A simple backward count tells us that 1 st work is 2 nd moon and proves once again that New Moon was not counted as one six work s, and also places weekly Sabbaths on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th s moon. If Yeshua Messiah had not been killed on 14 th, he would have kept Sabbath on 15 th as his custom was. If we go to Matw 28:1 we read: "After Sabbath, when it was growing light on first week, Mary Magdalene and or Mary came to view grave" (The Kingdom Interlinear Translation Greek Scriptures.) At first glance re appears to be nothing unusual about this verse. However, if we consult original Greek, we find a remarkable corroboration double Sabbath word "Sabbath" is in plural! Therefore, this verse should read (in English) "After Sabbaths [plural], when it was growing light on first week...." Also, phrase "when it was growing light on first week" is translated from original Greek, which literally says "to [] lighting up into one [first] Sabbaths" notice plural form once again. The same thing is found in Mark 16:2 where Greek literally says: "And exceedingly early to one [first] [] Sabbaths y are coming upon memorial tomb..." which in English usage reads "And very early on first

week y came to memorial tomb...." (The Kingdom Interlinear Translation Greek Scriptures.) The word "Sabbath" is also in plural in Luke 24:1 and John 20:1, showing that this particularly weekly Sabbath was also a high. In case you think this is a coincidence, re are numerous or places in gospels that refer to a double Sabbath. At beginning his ministry, right after forty s in wilderness, Yeshua went to his home town Nazareth where he entered local synagogue on Sabbath and began to read. Notice! "So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into synagogue on Sabbath, and stood up to read" (Luke 4:16, New King James Version.) If you check Greek for this verse you will find word "Sabbath" is in plural once again indicating a double Sabbath, i.e. weekly Sabbath and a festival high. Here's literal translation from Greek: "And he came into Nazareth, where he was having been reared, and he went in according to custom to him in Sabbaths into synagogue, and he stood up to read" (The Kingdom Interlinear Translation Greek Scriptures.) Some people have tried to say that this was Pentecost (Feast "Weeks") but time frame is all wrong. Not only that, but in or parts New Testament word "Pentecost" is used for this see Acts 2:1, 20:16 and I Corinthians 16:8. Since this incident is right after 40 s in desert this particular weekly Sabbath is first high Feast Unleavened Bread, that is, Nisan 15. The very passage Messiah read from Isaiah 49 indicates it was Passover season. Later Messiah went down to Capernaum where, once again as his custom was, he entered local synagogue and began to teach: "And y went ir way into Capernaum. No sooner was it Sabbath than he entered into synagogue and began to teach" (Mark 1:21.) Again, original Greek shows word "Sabbath" to be in plural, indicating anor double Sabbath. Note literal translation from Greek: "And y are entering into Capernaum. And at once to Sabbaths having entered into synagogue he was teaching" (ibid.). This evidently took place on high a festival season anor double Sabbath showing again that Jews Messiah's were keeping weekly Sabbaths according to lunar calendar or reckoning.

The next mention a Sabbath in book Luke comes at Luke 6:1. Here word "Sabbath" is in singular, indicating a regular weekly Sabbath. Some uninformed ministers try to create a weekly Sabbath on 17 th moon during crucifixion week and try to say 15 th was a yearly Sabbath only. But if that were so, 10 th moon would also have to be a Sabbath. The Bible proves this to be totally false in John 12:1: "Then, six s before Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was...." This would place Yeshua's arrival in Bethany on 9 th moon; and verse 12 says that on next ( 10 th ) he went to Jerusalem. Notice: "The next a great multitude that had come to feast, when y heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem took branches palm trees and went out to meet him...." The 10 th month Nisan was when Passover lamb was to be selected read Exodus 12:3 through 6. This was a very busy and definitely not Sabbath! The very actions Messiah and crowds on this would have violated Sabbath if it was indeed Sabbath: #1) The Messiah would have broken YEHOVAH's law by riding ass and causing it to work if 10 th was a Sabbath. #2) The crowds were cutting tree limbs, etc., but most all y were buying and selling on that. Also, Yeshua entered Temple and healed a man on 10 th, without Pharisees accusing him breaking Sabbath. This all proves that 10 th was not a weekly Sabbath and refore 17 th could not have been a Sabbath eir. You can prove this by simply reading Matw 21:2-15 and Luke 19: [Scroll down for chart.]

NISAN 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th 16th 17th Weekly Sabbath Day Yeshua arrives in Bethany. 1st Yeshua enters Jerusalem. Selection lambs. 2nd 3rd 4th 5th Preparation for Sabbath. Crucifixion. 6th Weekly Sabbath. 1st Day Unleavened Bread. 1st Wavesheaf fering. 2nd 3rd Feast. ACTS 20:5: The apostle Paul was using YEHOVAH God's calendar after crucifixion, and we find evidence this in Acts chapter 20. Notice verses 5 through 7: These men went on ahead and waited for us at Troas. But we sailed from Philippi after Feast Unleavened Bread, and five s later joined ors at Troas, where we stayed seven s. On first week we came toger to break bread. They sailed away from Philippi after Days Unleavened Bread (on 22 nd ) and 5 s later (on 26 th ) joined ors in Troas where y abode for 7 s. The 7 th was 2 nd new month and Paul calls second moon 1 st That makes 1 st new month New Moon which we already know to be a worship in which no work is done. Counting 26 th as first ir stay in Troas, we count 27 th as second, 28 th as third, 29 th as fourth, 30 th as fifth, 1 st or New Moon as sixth stay, and 2 nd moon as seventh Paul's stay at Troas. Verse 7 Acts 20 calls this second moon first week because y only stayed seven s. The seventh ir stay fell on first week, and second month, or moon, is always first work week, following New Moon. If 2 nd moon was first work week, that clearly proves that

Paul kept weekly Sabbath on 8 th moon along with 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th! Won't you follow him as he followed Messiah? The apostle Paul was remembering true Sabbath to keep it Holy. By counting six work s after New Moon and n rest seventh after six work s according to commandment it will always fall on 8 th from New Moon, as it was in beginning in Genesis 1. YEHOVAH God rested seventh, or after six work s, but it was 8 th from beginning. This is because YEHOVAH created Heavens and Earth before He worked on m on 1 st work. NISAN 21st 22nd 23rd 24th 25th 26th 27th 28th 29th 30th Last Day Unleavened Bread. Paul sailed from Philippi. 2nd voyage. 3rd voyage. 4th voyage. In this example concerning second month YEHOVAH's calendar, weekly Sabbaths fell on 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th s month. The apostle Paul was remembering true Sabbath to keep it Holy. By counting six work s after New Moon and n resting seventh after six work s (according to YEHOVAH's commandment) it will always be on 8 th from

New Moon. The main thing to remember is that New Moon is not one six work s, and from examples we have seen in Bible it was never intended to be counted as one. After beginning or New Moon, first work begins, and 7 th will always be 8 th from beginning. Every place in Bible where Sabbaths and New Moons are indicated, 2 nd moon or month is always 1 st work, and 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd and 29 th s month are Sabbaths without exception! It will be so in New Heaven and New Earth states prophet Isaiah: "For as new heavens and new earth which I will make shall remain before Me," says LORD, "so shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to anor, and from one Sabbath to anor, all flesh shall come to worship before Me," says LORD (Isaiah 66:22-23.)
