HIGH HOLY DAYS SERVICE AND CAMP 2 nd - 5 th grades observe Rosh Hashanah with interactive services filled with music and stories. Parents are more than welcome to join too! Following the services, kids can participate in games and other holiday activities. 6 th grade B nai Mitzvah students are encouraged to attend the main Sanctuary Rosh Hashanah service, but are welcomed to attend the Teen Service as well. SHABBAT SHUVAH Friday, September 22 6:15 pm Kabbalat Shabbat Service TASHLICH & HAVDALAH Saturday, September 23 5:00 pm Tashlich and Havdalah Service (Shelby Farms) TASHLICH & HAVDALAH It is a Jewish tradition to cast off our sins and faults so that we can enter the New Year with a clean slate. Reflect, make resolutions, and actively participate in casting off the mistakes of last year. The evening will end with a short Havdalah service. KEVER AVOT MEMORIAL SERVICE Sunday, September 24 10:30 am Kever Avot Memorial Service (Levy-Cooper Chapel) KEVER AVOT An honored Jewish custom, Kever Avot entails visiting the cemetery between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to symbolically bring our deceased family members with us into the Jewish New Year.
