15 The Forgiveness Song You know that in love we can forgive; It is the only way to live. Obey God and see that we can live in harmony. Since God has forgiven us, it s true, You forgive me, I ll forgive you. I m gonna start to show forgiveness from my heart.

18 If you saw us walking down the street, God, you d think us unburdened. But if you stopped and looked a little closer you d see how many hurts we re dragging around behind us. Because when we hurt we never let go of the guilt. And when we re hurt we never let go of the pain.

19 So we d like to ask you this morning to show us a better way. Show us how to leave our guilt and pain behind us. Not forgotten, but forgiven so that we, your children, may be freed to live and love as you intended.
