Ps 29:1,2, GIVE unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. Ps 37:3,11 the meek,37 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. Ps 119: Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Isa 9:2,4,6 2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 4 6 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. When infringing some supposed law, you say that there is danger. This fear is the danger and induces the physical effects. We cannot in reality suffer from breaking anything except a moral or spiritual law. The so-called laws of mortal belief are destroyed by the understanding that Soul is immortal, and that mortal mind cannot legislate the times, periods, and types of disease, with which mortals die. 396:14,30 The refutation of the testimony of material sense is 15 not a difficult task in view of the conceded falsity of this testimony. The refutation becomes arduous, not because the testimony of sin or disease is 18 true, but solely on account of the tenacity of belief in its truth, due to the force of education and the overwhelming weight of opinions on the wrong side, all teaching 21 that the body suffers, as if matter could have sensation. It breaks the dream of disease to understand that sickness is formed by the human mind, not by matter nor by the divine Mind. 265:23 Who that has felt the loss of human peace has not gained 24 stronger desires for spiritual joy? The law of the divine Mind must end human bondage, or mortals will continue unaware of man s inalienable rights and in subjection to hopeless slavery, because some public teachers permit an ignorance of divine power, an ignorance that is the foundation of continued bondage and of human suffering. 150:4-8 To-day the healing power of Truth is widely demonstrated as an immanent, eternal Science, instead of a 6 phenomenal exhibition. Its appearing is the coming anew of the gospel of on earth peace, good-will toward men.
