1 18MN Criminal Mischief On Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 4:23 pm, patrols responded to Best Buy for a possible shoplifting. Employees of the store related a male subject attempted to cut the security alarm from a cell phone on display. The security devices alarm activated and employees responded to investigate. The male subject was prohibited from returning to the store. No complaints to be signed. This incident was handled by Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis. 18MN25096 Warrant Arrest On Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2:05 am Nicholas Neri III, a 32-year-old unmarried Jackson resident who works as a paver was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Manalapan for $ Neri was picked up at the Freehold Township Police Department and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Brian Cruse handled the arrest. 18MN25091 Criminal Mischief / Theft On Saturday, September 29, 2018 at approximately 1150 p.m., a 38-year-old Metuchen resident forcefully gained access to an outdoor sandwich cooler where he removed grilled chicken from the Knob Hill Country Club. He attempted to flee the scene gut was stopped by a manager. This incident is pending complaints. Patrolman Eric Voorand handled the incident. 18MN25089 Criminal Mischief / Trespassing On Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:07pm a 22-year-old female Manalapan resident reported that she observed three males running through her backyard and that they had caused damage to her fence. The males were identified as juvenile Manalapan residents who admitted running through the yards while playing a game of Manhunt. The juveniles were turned over to their parents. No complaints signed. Patrolman Brian Cruse handled the incident. 18MN25071 Aggravated Assault / Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose / Terroristic Threats On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 19-year-old Manalapan resident reported that two male subjects physically assaulted and threatened the victim on Emily Road in Manalapan. The actors, who fled the area prior to police arrival, were reported have used pepper spray and were possibly armed with a knife. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is pending further investigation. Patrolman Matthew Meyler was the

2 18MN25088 Harassment On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at approximately 10:25 p.m., a 39-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report harassing messages via social media and phone. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the 18MN25061 Fraud On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 4:29 p.m., a 78-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor purported to be a representative from a technical support company via telephone. That individual was able to gain access to the victim s computer and fraudulently obtained $ from the victim for services. Patrolman Brian Schank handled the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN25036 Warrant Arrest On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 11:55 a.m., Jake T. Gadson II, a 34-yearold, married, male, resident of Asbury Park, NJ, who is employed as a teacher s aid, was arrested at the Colt s Neck Police Department regarding warrants that were issued for his arrest by the Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1, and the Freehold Township Police Department in the amount of 1, Mr. Gadson was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Matthew Meyler was the arresting officer. 18MN24999 Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Patrolman Douglas Zike investigated a vehicle that had entered a DWI Checkpoint on Route 9 South in Manalapan. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Nichol Wilson, a 36-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, male, resident of Jackson, NJ, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Wilson was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where it was later determined he had a warrant that was issued for his arrest by the Jersey City Municipal Court in the amount of $ Mr. Wilson was processed and released after being issued summonses and being released on his own recognizance by the Jersey City Municipal Court. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the arresting officer.

3 18MN24985 Simple Assault On Friday, September 28, 2018, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a 57-year-old Manalapan resident reported that he was assaulted by a 62-year-old Manalapan resident while at Marianne Manor, located at 327 Route 33 in Manalapan. Minor injuries were reported as a result of this incident and the reporting party declined signing complaints regarding this matter. Patrolman Eric Voorand was the 18MN24972 Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia On Friday, September 28, 2018, at approximately 7:09 p.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 north in Manalapan for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Vincent Visconi, a 26- year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Jackson, NJ, who is employed as a chef, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Visconi was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued summonses. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer. 18MN24950 Harassment On Friday, September 28, 2018, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a 33-year-old Hightstown resident reported being harassed by a 40-year-old Belleville resident at a Route 33 business after a verbal dispute. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Kyle Earley was the arresting officer. 18MN24827 Theft of Services On Thursday, September 27, 2018, at approximately 1:15 a.m., a 52-year-old Somerset, NJ resident reported that while operating a taxi cab, an unknown actor failed to render payment of $70.00 for the taxi service after being dropped off in the area of Lee Road in Manalapan. The victim did not wish to pursue criminal complaints regarding this incident. Patrolman Kimberly Whitehill was the 18MN24815 Burglary On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 38-year-old Smithburg Road resident reported that an unknown actor attempted to make entry to a storage building located on Smithburg Road in Manalapan. The suspect is described as a white, male, approximately 30-years of age, wearing long pants and a t-shirt, was captured on video surveillance. No items were reported missing from the building. Patrolman Douglas Zike was the responding officer and took the report, which is pending further investigation. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Danielle Matthews, a 36-yearold, divorced, female, resident of Jackson, NJ, who is employed as a service representative, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1, Ms. Matthews was placed under arrest and transported to the Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer. 18MN24796 Simple Assault On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 4:19 p.m., a 23-year-old Manalapan resident and a 24-year-old Englishtown resident reported being assaulted during an altercation at Jersey Strong, located at 300 Gordon s Corner Road in Manalapan, by a 22-year-old Manalapan resident. 5 18MN24792 Fraud On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 3:37 p.m., a 73-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor purporting to be a representative for Premium Tech Support claimed that the victim had to pay back money through gift cards for a previous service in exchange to receive money back into their bank account. The victim exchanged Best Buy gift cards in the amount of $4, to the unknown actor and was unable to contact them back after the transfer. Residents are reminded that this type of incident is an ongoing scam and are requested to not send or transfer money in the event that they receive a call of this nature via the telephone. Patrolman Kyle Williams handled the report, which is pending further investigation. 18MN24790 Warrant Arrest On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 3:16 p.m., Sofia Cruz- Corrasco, a 19-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Manalapan, NJ, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the Manalapan Township municipal Court in the amount of $1, Ms. Cruz- Corrasco was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Christopher Makwinski was the arresting officer. 18MN24780 Harassment On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 68-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a 61-year old Manalapan resident on Kelso Place in Manalapan. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Seth Kreizman was the 18MN24599 Fraud On Monday, September 24, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a 36-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that an unknown actor accessed the victim s bank information and withdrew $6, in cash from various ATM machines in New York City. Patrolman Peter Bylsma was the 18MN24586 Shoplifting Arrest On Monday, September 24, 2018 at 3:30 p.m., Judith Russo, a 57-year-old, married, female, resident of Freehold, NJ, who is employed as a teacher, was arrested for shoplifting $74.10 worth of merchandise at Wegman s Supermarket, located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan after concealing merchandise and attempting to exit the business without rendering payment. Ms. Russo was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued a summons. Patrolman Matthew Meyler was the arresting officer. 18MN24539 Theft of Motor Vehicle On Monday, September 24, 2018, at 3:03 a.m., Patrolman Brian Cruse responded to an Applegate Terrace residence to assist East Orange Police in locating the registered owner of a vehicle located in their jurisdiction. Upon speaking to the registered owner/victim, a 31-year-old Manalapan resident, it was discovered that the vehicle in question had been stolen from his driveway sometime between 10:00 p.m. the previous night and 2:00 a.m. that morning. According to the owner the key fob had been left inside the vehicle. East Orange Police took possession of the vehicle until it could be processed for evidence and returned to the registered owner. This incident is pending further investigation. 18MN24571 Warrant Arrest On Monday, September 24, 2018, at approximately 1:21 p.m., Erica N. Johnson, a 22-year-old, unmarried, unemployed, female, resident of Leesburg, VA, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by the North Brunswick Township Municipal Court in the amount of $ Ms. Johnson was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie made the arrest. 18MN24553 Burglary On Monday, September 24, 2018, at approximately 9:45 a.m., Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie, Patrolman Ross Dessel, Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson, and Patrolman Jeannie Letts responded to a Walden Court address regarding a report of a burglary. Andrew McKinstrie, a 31-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Manalapan, who is employed as a computer technician, was placed under arrest after being located in the vacant Walden Court residence. Mr. McKinstrie was

7 placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with burglary. Mr. McKinstrie was remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman Jeannie Letts was the arresting officer. 18MN24773 Warrant Arrest On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at approximately 1:39 p.m., Noemi Kollath, a 27-year-old, unmarried, female, resident of Highland Park, NJ, who is employed as a Server/Assistant, turned herself in at Manalapan Township Police Headquarters regarding a warrant that was issued for her arrest by Manalapan Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1, Ms. Kollath was processed and released after posting bail.
