Luke 22:1-6 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.
And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
Luke 22:21-23 But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed. But woe to that man who betrays him! They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.

John 6:64 Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.
John 13:18 I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: He who shared my bread has lifted up his heel against me.
John 17:12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

Psalm 41:4-5, 7-9 Have mercy on me, LORD; heal me, for I have sinned against you. My enemies say of me in malice, When will he die and his name perish? All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying, A vile disease has beset him; he will never get up from the place where he lies. Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
John 19:28-29 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, I am thirsty. A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus lips.
Psalm 69:21 They put poison in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.
