PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL TORAH by Andrew E.T. Makin 2011 Abstract In 2010 we saw some MelekTzadek Scriptures, but did not understand the Complete Change occurring at the Stake as we do today. The Levitical Order and Covenant with Moses of Exodus and Ezekiel 20 which was put in place after the Golden Calf Covenant Breach, had later been replaced, not by a New/Renewed Ex Covenant but, by the Restored Original MelekTzadek New/Renewed Covenant previously offered at Ex Shiloh (Gen 4.10) came to restore it 2000 years ago as our High Priest in Heaven (1 Pet , Heb. 7 and vers 11-12). This article from the MelekTzadek Scriptures presented here highlights this. Heb amoung other Scriptures explains. The New and living Way is not the Torah of Moses. The Torah of Moses had been replaced by Messiah YaHUsha with his Doctrine/Teaching/Instruction/Word. Each one of these words have one or more Scriptures to back them up to complement Matt. 28:20, for instance Gal. 6.2 en 1 Cor speak of the Law/Torah of Messiah The MelekTzadek Order. That happened after the Stake. Today it is for us to live out the Torah of YHVH (Luke Application before the Stake), not the Torah of Moses. It can only be done in the Power of the Spirit from the Father YHVH. -o-o-o-o-o- EPHESIANS 2: Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands that at that time you were without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without Elohim in the world. But now in Messiah YaHUshua you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to Elohim in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. I believe this is the starting point of this journey we underwent, coming out of paganism, starting to walk the journey towards the light and the truth in Messiah YaHUshua. This was also the beginning of a very dangerous walk in which some ended up eventually in darkness (practicing legalistic Torah) which inevitably leads again to death. I never could understand, coming into the Hebrew Root movement, why it is that the books of Paul (Sha ul) in some way is for the Torah and in some way also against the Torah. 1

Some people may twist scripture in such a way to fit their belief system, or even discard some scripture, but I really needed to understand truth, otherwise I am just back where I started off in the beginning. I was reading my Word one morning when I came across this seemingly straightforward peace of word, but I found something very profound in this which Paul (Sha ul) is trying to explain: EPHESIANS 5:31-33 "Therefore a man will leave his father and mother and remain with his wife, and the two will become one." There is profound truth hidden here, which I say concerns the Messiah and the Messianic Community. However, the text also applies to each of you individually: let each man love his wife as he does himself, and see that the wife respects her husband. This clearly tells me that I must understand that there is something hidden here, and He is trying to reveal this to us. In reading this and understanding what He is trying to tell us, the whole WORD opened up in a new dimension that I have never seen before. I always believed that there is a spiritual side to Torah, but I never understood it, and through Ruach HaKodesh, I somewhat felt like Paul (Sha ul) when the scales fell from his eyes. What he is doing is, he is giving us an example of the Spiritual Torah. He is saying, when you are leaving your father and your mother and you become one with your spouse (in the physical), it teaches you to become one (in the spiritual) with your Messiah. Another example he writes about is: EPHESIANS 6:1-6 Children, what you should do in union with the Lord is obey your parents, for this is right. "Honour your father and mother" this is the first commandment that embodies a promise "so that it may go well with you, and you may live long in the Land." Fathers, don't irritate your children and make them resentful; instead, raise them with the YHVH's kind of discipline and guidance. Slaves, obey your human masters with the same fear, trembling and single-heartedness with which you obey the Messiah. Don't obey just to win their favour, serving only when they are watching you; but serve as slaves of the Messiah, doing what Elohim wants with all your heart. Again Paul (Sha ul) is telling us that if you obey your Father and your Mother (in the physical), you are learning (in the spiritual) to obey your Father in Heaven and when you are able to do this you may live long in the spiritual land of the Spiritual Jerusalem. EPHESIANS 2:19-22 When I understood this, I could understand what happened to the Physical Israel on their journey to the Promised Land. YaHUaH took this group of people, separated them, to make of them an example. He taught them the Torah in a physical way; so that they could learn the spiritual lessons He wanted to teach them. If they could do this and understand this, and live in the way He intended for them to live, they would have been so blessed, and would have been an example for the other nations to 2

come to salvation. This was a way to convert the other nations, to leave paganism and to follow the One True Elohim, the true Creator of Heaven and earth. As we know, this never came to be, because this people did not have trust and they were stiff-necked. 1 CORINTHIANS 10:1-5 For, brothers, I don't want you to miss the significance of what happened to our fathers. All of them were guided by the pillar of cloud, and they all passed through the sea, and in connection with the cloud and with the sea they all immersed themselves into Moshe, also they all ate the same food from the Spirit, and they all drank the same drink from the Spirit for they drank from a Spirit-sent Rock which followed them, and that Rock was the Messiah. Yet with the majority of them God was not pleased, so their bodies were strewn across the desert. It is like a being a parent and you want to teach your child a lesson of patience and endurance. You give him a large heap of washing to fold, and it takes him a long time. After folding it (struggling and complaining), you ask the child: what did you learn, and he replies: to fold washing, but you as a parent know that the lesson was much more valuable than that. The teaching of how to fold washing, that was just an extra. Another example of this is like the troop that did not cooperate with the Officer. The Officer took that troop and made him peel potatoes in the kitchen for a week. The troop could have learnt two lessons. ONE: to listen and cooperate in future or TWO: he became a very good potato peeler. Now, in using these examples, one could say that the Jews just became very good folders and peelers. The frightening part is, that others discovering Hebrew Roots, is going the same way they are going. The difference is that YaHUaH wants us to follow Him in Messiah (doing something physical to learn what He wants us to learn in the Spirit), and not to follow after the knowledge of man. Moses had to teach them to put their trust in Messiah and to ask for themselves for water (living water), they had to learn to eat spiritual food by physically eating the man that He gave them. They had to learn by using the physical temple, how the Spiritual One works in Heaven. HEBREWS 8:1-8 Here is the whole point of what we have been saying: we do have just such a cohen gadol (High Priest) as has been described. And he does sit at the right hand of HaG'dulah ( the Greatness ) in heaven. There he serves in the Holy Place, that is, in the true Tent of Meeting, the one erected not by human beings but by YHVH. For every cohen gadol (High Priest) is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; so this cohen gadol (High Priest) too has to have something he can offer. Now if he were on earth, he wouldn't be a cohen (priest) at all, since there already are cohanim offering the gifts required by the Torah. But what they are serving is only a copy and shadow of the heavenly original; for when Moshe was about to erect the Tent, Elohim warned him, "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern you were shown on the mountain." But now the work YaHUshua has been given to do is far superior to theirs, just as the covenant He mediates is better. For 3

this covenant has been given as Torah on the basis of better promises. Indeed, if the first covenant had not given ground for faultfinding, there would have been no need for a second one. For Elohim does find fault with the people when he says, " 'See! The days are coming,' says YHVH, 'when I will establish over the house of Isra'el and over the house of Y'hudah a new covenant. This shadow was there in the physical and in the old, but it wasn t taken away or disappeared. It has been fulfilled by YaHUshua, but is currently in working in the heavenly. So by understanding the physical, we will start to come to understand the heavenly. By choosing to do Torah physically (not understanding what it is telling us spiritually), it is a curse and leads to death. We are just becoming very good potato peelers. The physical makes us understand the Spiritual, and by starting off doing it physically, it teaches us something very valuable the Father wants us to learn in His WORD through Messiah. Paul (Sha ul) is trying to teach us to search and to ask through YaHUshua for the hidden treasures in the WORD, and this you get from having a willing heart, having the fear of YaHUaH which leads to knowledge and having the love to want to constantly change and be renewed for Him. 1 TIMOTHY 4:8 For although physical exercise does have some value, godliness is valuable for everything, since it holds promise both for the present life and for the life to come. COLOSSIANS 1:25-26 I became a servant of the Good News because Elohim gave me this work to do for your benefit. The work is to make fully known the message from Elohim, the secret hidden for generations, for ages, but now made clear to the people he has set apart for himself. EPPHESIANS 3:2-12 I assume that you have heard of the work Elohim in his grace has given me to do for your benefit, and that it was by a revelation that this secret plan was made known to me. I have already written about it briefly, and if you read what I have written, you will grasp how I understand this secret plan concerning the Messiah. In past generations it was not made known to mankind, as the Spirit is now revealing it to his emissaries and prophets, that in union with the Messiah and through the Good News the Gentiles were to be joint heirs, a joint body and joint sharers with the Jews in what Elohim has promised. I became a servant of this Good News by Elohim's gracious gift, which he gave me through the operation of his power. To me, the least important of all Elohim's set apart people, was given this privilege of announcing to the Gentiles the Good News of the Messiah's unfathomable riches, and of letting everyone see how this secret plan is going to work out. This plan, kept hidden for ages by Elohim, the Creator of everything, is for the rulers and authorities in heaven to learn, through the existence of the Messianic Community, how many-sided Elohim's wisdom is. This accords with Elohim's age-old purpose, accomplished in the Messiah YaHUshua, our Master. In union with him, through his faithfulness, we have boldness and confidence when we approach Elohim. 4

When you read the WORD now, the amount of examples are endless. This is why YaHUshua was speaking in parables all the time; He wants you to search and to have the willingness to learn, otherwise He would have given it all on a silver platter for everyone to just take. Paul (Sha ul) wrote this letter to the Galatians, and this is a shadow-type for us to understand what is happening currently. It is as if it is a replay of current events. GALATIANS 3: 1-4 You stupid Galatians! Who has put you under a spell? Before your very eyes YaHUshua the Messiah was clearly portrayed as having been put to death as a criminal! I want to know from you just this one thing: did you receive the Spirit by legalistic observance of Torah commands or by trusting in what you heard and being faithful to it? Are you that stupid? Having begun with the Spirit's power, do you think you can reach the goal under your own power? Have you suffered so much for nothing? If that's the way you think, your suffering certainly will have been for nothing! GALATIANS 4:21-26 Tell me, you who want to be in subjection to the system that results from perverting the Torah into legalism, don't you hear what the Torah itself says? It says that Avraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and one by the free woman. The one by the slave woman was born according to the limited capabilities of human beings, but the one by the free woman was born through the miracle-working power of Elohim fulfilling His promise. Now, to make a midrash (discussion) on these things: the two women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai and bears children for slavery this is Hagar. Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; she corresponds to the present Yerushalayim, for she serves as a slave along with her children. But the Yerushalayim above is free, and she is our mother. GALATIANS 5:1-5 What the Messiah has freed us for is freedom! Therefore, stand firm, and don't let yourselves be tied up again to a yoke of slavery. Mark my words I, Sha'ul (Paul), tell you that if you undergo b'rit-(circumcision) the Messiah will be of no advantage to you at all! Again, I warn you: any man who undergoes b'rit-milah (circumcision) is obligated to observe the entire Torah! You who are trying to be declared righteous by Elohim through legalism have severed yourselves from the Messiah! You have fallen away from Elohim's grace! For it is by the power of the Spirit, who works in us because we trust and are faithful, that we confidently expect our hope of attaining righteousness to be fulfilled. The scriptures teaches us the shadow of things of old, in order for us to understand what is going to happen in the end of time, this does not mean that it is finished with or that it is a closed chapter. It is just currently working in the Spirit. So if you think about it, the whole Torah, even the sacrificing in the Temple is still applicable today in the spiritual, because YaHUshua is currently busy being our High Priest in the Heavenly. By understanding the Feasts, the Sacrifices etc. we come to understand a wealth of knowledge. HEBREWS 10:1 For the Torah has in it a shadow of the good things to come, but not the actual manifestation of the originals. 5

EPPHESIANS 4:20-24 But this is not the lesson you learned from the Messiah! If you really listened to him and were instructed about him, then you learned that since what is in YaHUshua is truth, then, so far as your former way of life is concerned, you must strip off your old nature, because your old nature is thoroughly rotted by its deceptive desires; and you must let your spirits and minds keep being renewed, and clothe yourselves with the new nature created to be godly, which expresses itself in the righteousness and holiness that flow from the truth. Therefore, we are living in the latter days, and we are warned not to be deceived. So, let no man teach you according to his own knowledge, but ask for the perfect vine (YaHUshua) to teach you Himself, because in Him is the light and there is no lie. 1 JOHN 2:26-27 I have written you these things about the people who are trying to deceive you. As for you, the Messianic anointing you received from the Father remains in you, so that you have no need for anyone to teach you. On the contrary, as his Messianic anointing continues to teach you about all things, and is true, not a counterfeit, so, just as he taught you, remain united with him. -o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- 6
