2 Africa Celebrates Jerusalem The first evening of ALS 2017 was dedicated to the celebra<on of the City of Jerusalem, her significance in world history, church history and the history of the Jewish na<on. This year, Israel marks the 50 year anniversary of the unifica<on of Jerusalem, and we took the opportunity of this occasion to celebrate with her. We launched the book of signatures on Africa Celebrates Jerusalem, and presented advance copies of the book to leaders of Israel including : Nathan Sharansky Chairman of the Jewish Agency Ambassador Gil Haskel Head of MASHAV We encourage different African countries to build up signatures for the 2019 edi<on of the book. 6 Morning Plenary Sessions Every morning was dedicated to our spiritual enrichment, spending quality <me in worship and the ministry of the Word. The following topics were addressed: The Nature and Power of Covenant Pastor Segun Olanipekun, Summit Convener De-Judaiza7on of Scriptures - Pastor Benjamin Berger, Messianic believer and co-pastor of The Congrega<on of the Lamb on Mt. Zion, Jaffa Gate. Jerusalem

7 Prophetic Action on the Nature and Power of Covenant The 2017 Africa Leadership Summit resolved to make a Covenant with the God of Israel over the des<ny of Africa in a communion session led by members of the Apostolic team, and in response to the spoken word on The Nature and Power of Covenant. It became obvious that in order to raise Godly leaders in Africa; and for Africa to realise the provisions of the Abrahamic covenant, mantle and blessings in every sector of society, God is requiring a covenant rela<onship. We have realised that all that Israel has enjoyed in the Abrahamic covenant has been made available to Africa through the death and resurrec<on of Jesus Christ. The covenant is between Africans, the God of Israel and the people of Israel. This is an on-going experience and it will be unpacked more both in the ALS sessions in Jerusalem as well as in the regional conferences.

9 Political and Economic Development of Africa During the acernoon sessions, we had the privilege to consult among ourselves on issues concerning the poli<cal and economic development of our na<ons. One of these sessions was led by Professor Jerry Gana, a seasoned Chris<an poli<cian from Nigeria and Professor Dankit, Vice Chancellor of Africa Interna<onal University, Kenya.

11 Trade Mission organized with Israel Trade Department We had over 20 Israeli businesses represented, who made presenta<ons to the Summit on various products and services, ranging from Renewable Energy, Cyber Technology, Agro Chemical industries, IT, Beauty Products, among others. This was followed by a B2B consulta<ons between them and the African business community represented in the Summit. It was a huge success.

14 Launching of Africa Israel Chamber of Commerce This is the highlight of the highlights, as the highway of business and innova<on between Israel and Africa was officially opened. The Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Nir Barkat officially launched the Africa Israel Chamber of Commerce. The first Con<nental Execu<ve of the Chamber was inaugurated. The launch was marked by lots of fanfare, ringing of the bell, blowing of the shofar and other prophe<c ac<ons to celebrate this new beginning.

18 Love Feast/Gala Dinner between Africans and Israeli Families and Business Community Every Summit ends with a gala dinner where Africans showcase God s blessings in their cultural oukits and dance. This year s gala dinner was very special and of great significance. We had over 20 representa<ves of Israeli families and the business community join us for the celebra<on. With Jews and Gen<les taking to the dance floor, singing both African and Jewish songs, it was a beau<ful sight to behold.

21 Africa Agency The inspira<on behind the establishment of the African Agency became pronounced when Natan Sharansky and Danielle Mor of the Jewish Agency made their presenta<ons on behalf of the Jewish Agency, even though some members of the Apostolic Team had been thinking about this for over a year. Some have even ini<ated similar ideas in their cons<tuency. It became obvious that Africa has not had a voice that speaks for her people besides the disconcer<ng and muffled voices of her governments. The establishment of the African Agency became one of the resolu<ons of the 2017 Summit. A working commiree was inaugurated and Pastor John AdejoroOluwa was asked by the leadership team to lead this commiree.

22 Africa Agency The working commiree will among its goals and objec<ves consider: The establishment of the African Agency as the apex voice of the African people at home and in the diaspora. A voice beyond poli<cs and government of every na<on, race and people group. The mobiliza<on of leaders and elders in every village, tribe, city and na<on of Africa as well as every community of Africans around the world. To address the issues of underdevelopment, and encourage Africans in the diaspora to invest at home towards the development of African ci<es and the African economy. To encourage the development of the culture of produc<vity and excellence, a departure from backward, barbaric, violent and unproduc<ve cultures among Africans towards the realiza<on of the African century. To create systems that can challenge neo coloniza<on and the exploita<on of African resources. To hold governments and government ins<tu<ons accountable at every level. To learn and possibly partner with the Jewish Agency without necessarily duplica<on of systems because Africa is unique and different. To work towards the realiza<on of the African dream.

23 Prophetic Prayer Tour of Israel During the tour delegates took <me to pray for Israel and for ci<es of Africa as instructed by the Lord. We asked the Lord to accomplish for ci<es of Israel today much more than the record on the site of our visit. We also took <me to pray for families, businesses and individuals. It was a blessed <me.

26 ALS Youth Forum Since the first ALS in 2013, the youth have con<nuously requested space, <me and programmes towards the development of African youth. The 2017 Summit was arended by youths from South, East and West Africa as well as Africans in the diaspora (USA). Discussions were held at various levels on the subject of Youth Development. This is a need that ALS leadership have iden<fied and are willing to address on the plakorm. The ALS Youth Forum is going to be one of the main highlights of the 2019 Summit.
