1 Al Haadi 3 We are all walking on a path following the footsteps of the Prophet SAW why? To seek Allah's pleasure and to seeks His Face Remember always anything you do your goal is to earn Allah's pleasure You love someone also for Allah's sake means Allah will love you You follow the Sunnah for Allah's sake means He will Love you Your heart will be at peace then because you obey follow only ONE master. This is easier than having so many people to obey and please. A true believer is a slave to ONE MASTER. Those who associate partners with Allah, their lives are not as relaxed as a beleiver. We do this class for what purpose? To know Allah and Love Him. people know so much of worldly people like actors, actresses, politicians, heads of state, sportsmen etc But do we know who our Rabb is? when we talk abt seeking knowledge it is not worldly knowledge. Knowledge seeking is of beneficial knowledge. we need to know and have knowledge about the Creator we claim to love first and foremost before anything else. its not just a statement of the tongue.love is something in the heart. In life the things we love or the people we love, we do so because we know something abt them, their characteristics, appearance, behaviour etc So with Allah who we cannot see we need to know about Him or else how can we Love him. Surah Ar- Ra'd 13:28 ٱ O أT 2 S 5 6 ٱ O < C D ٱM R ; :ب ٱM K 5 < ء اH I :ا وC D < > ; : "Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allâh, Verily, in the remembrance of Allâh do hearts find rest" To relax the Quran tells us you need the Knowledge of Allah azzawajal In life its not the spa or the vacation or the holiday that relaxes you.these are just temporary solutions.they finish. you are not going to be on holiday forever nor living at the spa! and sometimes even in these instances your mind is still not truly relaxed. The Scholar Muhammed Ibn Hanbal said Real relaxation will only be in Jannah. However Allah has given us a means to find peace and rest in our hearts. This is the one paradise we have in life. This is in the rememberance of Allah. Subhanallah! Anyone coming to a darrs sincerely for Allah's sake because you want to know Allah and you want to earn His pleasure and increase your faith you will know at the end of

2 it when you leave you feel so light. you feel at ease and happy. your mind is so relaxed. Subhanallah! This is why Allah never forsaked man without guiding him to Allah. Alhamdulillah that we are listening to a darrs, that Allah by His Mercy guided us to it. Allah is Al-Haadi. He NEVER neglects anyone. when you really understand this you feel security.which causes that peace in your heart.we don't even know what goodness we did to deserve this guidance. alhamdulillah for it. Allah is Lateeful Kareem Last week we learnt about special guidance which was Type 2 of the types of guidance. this type is for mankind and jinn- those who will have recompense on the Day of Judgement Hidayatul Bayan is what this is called or Hidayathul Haassa Allah will send the message of whatever guidance you are lacking to you in so many forms. what each person needs in whichever instance differs. For example if I am Muslim but i am falling short in my salat Allah will send the guidance to me about the importance of salat specifically because I need it. and Allah knows what i need of guidance. It'll come in various forms. example: there was a person who was a famous magician.his father had also been a magician like him. (We know sorcery is haram in islam) This person had a dream. in it he was in hellfire and his father was there too burning in the fire and the father told him to repent. This person repented and came to islam. subhanallah. so you cant imagine how guidance will come.it maybe in a way you never even thought it would. Another example sister emaan when she was young and not wearing hijaab said once she was with her mom on the road somewhere and a man just randomly came upto them and told her mother to make her daughter wear hijaab. and then he just walked off. they could not even find him. how Allah guides.he ensures the message was carried to you. subhanallah. so gently. So to follow up from where we left off. Once Hidayathul Bayan comes to everyone,

3 according to how they react to the guidance the people can be catergorised into 3 groups Group 1 explained with examples Ex 1- I listen to music Guidance comes. Hidayatul Bayan cmes to me regarding this. I hear it in a lecture. My mother advices me. I read it in a book of knowledge. i talk to a friend who also shares this knowledge with me. I react by thinking "Everyone picks on me. They are always just lecturing only me and offending me." I think its pure coincidence that this is one thing i do which is wrong and i hear so much about it. messages are being passed to me that it is wrong and bad in different ways It can be anything wearing hijaab plucking eyebrows delaying the prayer etc. specifically what i am falling short in all of a sudden all these messages come regarding it to me. every one seems to be picking on me about it. Remember it is not coincidence.allah has decreed it that the message reaches us. and He is not going to benefit from it. it is for us to benefit because He wants to guide us. But i REJECT the message when it comes. sometimes verbally. or sometimes just in my heart. I may not show it in actions but i reject it in my heart. I give excuses to myself or to others. i think in my heart " No its not for me" I turn away from the message. This is a very serious thing. This turning away we must understand is not necessarily physical. Its a turning away in the heart. rejection in the heart Allah wants to guide you and wants you to be better but your heart rejects the guidance. Allah is so forebearing He will bring the guidance over and over to you in so many different ways for so long. But if man turns away from some guidance over and over though Allah brings it to him maybe Allah will turn away from that person and the guidance and the messages will stop. May Allah protect us from that ever happening to us. Ameen. Remember the guidance is a precious gift. And imagine how bad it looks when Allah the All Knower sees someone persisting on a sin. Allah knows what is in your heart. so if guidance is coming but in your heart you reject it don't feel secure. unlike people Allah knows your innermost thoughts. So when Allah is giving you such a precious gift its like you are refusing it or giving it back.

4 in worldy matters if we got a gift would we ever refuse it?especially if it was a very precious gift But here Allah is giving us guidance purely for our success.in no way is it going to benefit Allah. and yet we refuse it. Shaytan will always come and beautify the sin and make the guidance hard to accept. Its like Allah is giving you a gift. over and over wrapping it beautifying it sending it in so many different forms. and its like we are continuously refusing it. If this happened to us in the worldly life how will we feel. if we sent someone a gift and they return it even once we feel hurt sad angry. Allah sends guidance over and over because He is so forebearing. Asthagfirullah we don't want to be those whom Allah turns away from. He is the only one we can flee to. So when the messages come to you, understand its not from that person. If someone advices you about wearing hijaab don't get offended with her. It is Allah who sent her. so when you reject it in your heart you are rejecting Allah's guidance. Hidayatul Bayan came to you but you rejected it in your heart or in your heart and actions. you avoid that lady who told you about wearing hijaab you get angry and offended with her, you dislike her company etc. This is group 1 Next is Group 2 This is a person to whom Hidayatul Bayan came and you don't reject it. But you are Hesitant, Shy. Musthahee In this persons heart there is a war Like Hijaab or plucking your eyebrows You know it is correct and true but you are shy to implement. your heart is not rejecting the knowledge. In this persons case Allah will not reject him and not punish him but will give him time. Subhanallah So when guidance comes don't reject it. You don't want to fall into group 1 asthagfirullah check your heart as to how you respond to Hidayatul Bayan. Only you and Allah will know which group you are in. This Group 2 is a transit stage. this group will not always be in the middle. at some point they will accept the guidance

5 Group 3 - third group on how people react to guidance This is also the 3rd type of guidance -Hidayat Al Tawfeeq The people of this group when Hidayat al Bayan comes to them are as follows. In your heart when the guidance comes you accept it Subhanallah Not even act upon it. you just accept it with your heart. when you do this ALLAH will come to YOU hastening and MAKE your limbs do the action. Sometimes you may think its you. But its actually your heart accepting the guidance and Allah hastening your limbs to act on it and do it. You may feel you cant imagine how you did it. well that is because Allah only made you do it. all you did was accept the hidayat in your heart. For example- it is not my nature to be patient. I am an impatient person. But when a certain crisis struck subhanallah even i have no idea how i dealt with it so patiently. This is purely from Allah. In my heart i just accepted that i should be patient and Allah made me behave patiently Guidance from Allah is what gives light and illuminates your path because you are following it purely for Allah's sake. The faster you heed guidance the faster it will help you on the Day of Judgement Allah will make it easy for you if you heed the guidance in your HEART. subhanallah! Allah will deal with you with the name ASH SHAKIR ASH SHAKOOR Hadith Qudsi: Narrated Abu Huraira (rali) The Messenger of Allah Prophet SAW said Allah azzawajal says I am just as My slave thinks I am (i.e. I amable to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers Me: If he remembers me in himself, I too will remember him in Myself; if he remembers me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering far better than that gathering; if he draws near Me a hand s span, I draw near him an arm s length; if he draws near Me an arm s length, I draw near him a fathom s length; if he comes to Me walking, then I go to him running Subhanallah Even a non muslim the seed of them accepting Islam starts with them accepting the guidance in their heart. The actions Allah will hasten thereafter. even how we came to study the names of Allah to this Darrs (Class) You look at yourself and how it started you will see this. In the start there may have been obstacles But the more you accept the guidance in your heart each time you attended with time getting here also became easy. Subhanallah it all depends on the heart. your heart. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide and whoever Allah misguides none can guide

6 The one who responds to the guidance and accepts it in his heart Allah will not misguide such people Hadith Prophet SAW was sitting amongst a group of people, when suddenly three men came towards the gathering. From these three, one of them saw a gap amongst the people close to the Prophet SAW, so he occupied the space with himself. The second man sat where the gathering ended at the behind, and the third turned his back and walked off. After the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam finished addressing the gathering, he said: I am going to inform you of a gathering of three men. The first one, he took shelter towards Allah. Allah will accomodate him in His Mercy. The second felt ashamed that he should cause the gathering any harm, so he sat where the gathering ended, so Allah felt ashamed that he should punish such a person and will accomodate him in His Mercy. The third man turned his back, so Allah turned his back on him i.e. he does not care about him. Asthagfirullah If Allah turns away from a person from where will they get guidance? Therefore Knowing this name Al Haadi will truly help you put into perspective the guidance you receive from Allah especially the ones we postpone. Especially because we don't know when our journey will end.
