1 MEDINA POLICE REPORT JULY 28, 2014 TO AUGUST 3, 2014 ( ) Suspicious Act Reported: Officer found a male sleeping in the driver's seat of the vehicle. Male stated he was staying at the Medina Inn and got into an argument with his wife. He said he then left to get away from her and was going to sleep in his car until morning when he had to go to work. He was advised to find somewhere else to park so he did not alarm the employees when they arrive for work. 300 block Clydesdale Trail, Medina Reported: ( ) Loud Music Upon arrival officer spoke to the individual and advised to him to turn down the music which he did. 300 block Sunnyridge Lane, Loretto Reported: 07- ( ) Locked Out/In Vehicle was unlocked without causing any damage block Highway 55, Medina Reported: 07- ( ) Hangup Officer was able to locate an individual who was part of a painting crew and had accidently hit the emergency button on his phone. There were no problems block Bluebell Trail S, Medina Reported: ) Information - road conditions Individual stopped by the police department to talk about a concern she had with the entrance and exit from McDonalds to County Road 116. She said on a few different occasions she has almost been in an accident because of the way the road design. She was advised to contact MNDOT and Hennepin County to express her concerns. 800 block Highway 55, Medina Reported: ) Shoplifter Male from Cokato, 15 years of age, was taken into custody for shoplifting a pack of cigarettes. He was released to a parent and issued a citation for theft.

Possibly a pocket dial block Jubert Trail, Medina Reported: ( ) Juvenile Prob 1838 Reported that multiple juveniles were seen near the water tower on Willow Drive. Individuals were not located. No damage was reported block Willow Drive, Medina Reported: ( ) No Pay 1745 Loss: $45.80 worth of fuel. Reported: ) Theft/Rpt 1843 Electronic equipment was reported missing. 00 block Hamel Road, Medina ( ) Animal Complaint Reported: Reported that a cat was stuck in a tree. Officer was canceled prior to arrival. 200 block Cherry Hill Alcove, Medina ( ) House Fire Reported: Report of a possible house fire. It was later determined that some electrical wires may have touched causing them to get hot. 200 block Saint John Street, Loretto ( ) Locked Out/In Reported: Vehicle was opened with no reported damage. 700 block Tower Drive, Medina ( ) Lost Wallet Reported: Reported that a wallet was missing, described as a black tri-fold wallet that contained $
3 cash, as well as other documents block Butternut Drive, Medina ( ) Shots Heard Reported: Reported that someone was shooting a gun in a field nearby. Officer located two individuals in a field shooting clay pigeons with a shotgun. There were no issues found; they were on the property of one of the individual s grandfather. Hamel Road and Pioneer Trail, Medina ( ) Customer Trouble Reported: Reported that a customer had prepaid $30 for gas; however had waited too long to pump the gas so the pump had reset itself. The customer pumped more than the $30 and was now refusing to pay. Customer finally agreed to pay for the entire bill block Baker Park Road Medina ( ) Suspicious Act Reported: Resident called to report she heard a loud noise from the area of her neighbor's deck. Officer was unable to locate the source of the loud noise. 300 block Sunnyridge Lane, Loretto Reported: ( ) Locked Out/In 0915 Vehicle was opened without any reported damage. 100 block Mallard Lane, Loretto ( ) No Pay Reported: Loss: $46.61 worth of gas. The gas was later paid for block Highway 55, Medina ( ) DWI Suspicion of Under the Influence. Reported: Charges pending results of test. State Highway 55 and Arrowhead Drive, Medina (Arrested) Hutchinson, Craig Randall, from Plymouth (Age:46) ( ) Suspicious Act Reported: Officer responded to a suspicious person call. Individual stated that he was waiting to be picked up for work.
4 ( ) Theft/Rpt Reported: Leaf blower and trimmer taken from the front yard block Wild Meadows Drive, Medina ( ) Narcotics/Warrant Arrest/False Info Reported: Anderson was transported to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center and released pending formal charges. State Highway 55 and Tamarack Drive, Medina (Arrested) Anderson, Jared Dean, from Buffalo (Age:20) ( ) Citation Reported: Two juveniles cited. One was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and the second juvenile was cited for minor consumption of alcohol and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were later released to parents. Pinto Drive and Tower Drive, Medina ( ) DWI Test Refusal. Reported: Olson Memorial Highway and Sheridan Avenue N, Minneapolis (Arrested) Mora, Jorge Arturo Granados, from Minneapolis (Age:52) ) Customer Trouble Reported: Dispute over taxi fare between the driver and customer. Officer arrived on scene and the customer and taxi driver agreed on a $37.00 fare block Holy Name Drive, Medina ( ) No Pay Reported: Registered owner later returned to the store and the gas was paid for in full. ( ) Locked Out/In Reported: Officer met with the owner and unlocked the vehicle.

County Road 81 and Dutton Avenue, Brooklyn Park (Arrested) May, Carl Antonio, from Brooklyn Park (Age:49) ( ) Unwanted Person Reported: Officer responded to a report of unwanted tree trimmers. They were advised to leave block County Road 24, Medina Reported: 08- ( ) Assault/Rpt Report of an assault between neighbors. Charges pending. 200 block Saint John Street, Loretto ( ) Animal Complaint - Missing Cat Reported: Missing cat - gray tabby with white paws and chest - no collar - declawed block Wild Flower Trail, Medina ( ) Hangup 911 Reported: Homeowner was unaware a call had been made and said the home phone line has been all static recently. Officer advised homeowner to contact the phone company for repair. No problems found block Oakview Road, Medina
