2 Key points The Workings of Missionaries and Office Holders (Reference: Friday Sermon ) By the grace of Allah, our Jamia at are established in different countries where missionaries are being prepared. These are people who have dedicated themselves for faith and have fulfilled the promise of giving faith priority over worldly affairs. Missionaries and office bearers should all work and cooperate with each other. The goal is the same; to spiritually reform the members of Jama at, to join them with Khilafat and spread Oneness of God in this world. They should have taqwa and humility in them. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has said that no Jama at can truly become a Jama at until the stronger ones help the weaker ones. Believing in Islam impels a complete obedience to the Will of Allah and being at peace with all the creation of Allah. Submitting to the Will of Allah means that we should follow the teachings sent to us by Allah. Allah has sent us guidance through our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The words of Allah as revealed to the Holy Prophet (pbuh), are complied in the Holy book of Islam - The Holy Quran. Islam vehemently and unreservedly rejects and condemns terrorism/extremism in any form and for any reason. In fact, according to Islam, no religion can sanction violence and bloodshed of innocent men, women and children in the name of God, since all religions came from God, Who sent His prophets to establish peace in the world. The Holy Qur an is very clear that mankind has a free choice in the matter of religion: There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has become distinct from wrong (Ch.2: V.257). The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) says that to safeguard Islam and propagate its message, it is important that first you show yourself to be a true Muslim and then spread its teachings. 4 Key points Essence of Istighfar and Sattari (Reference: Friday Sermon ) Huzur (aba) said that no one is absolutely free of all weaknesses. This is the attribute of Al- Sattar of God that He keeps our weaknesses hidden. Man would be utterly embarrassed if this wasn t the case. This is why Allah has advised us to do Istighfaar. The word Ghafara and Satara also means to cover or hide something. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has advised us to like for your brother what you like for yourself. Therefore, when you see others weaknesses, you should do Istighfaar or seek forgiveness that your own weaknesses aren t revealed. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said that whoever covers up the weaknesses of his Muslim brother in this world, Allah will do so to him in the hereafter. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has said that the God presented by Islam is forbearing, merciful and Who accepts repentance. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has advised us how to do this reformation. He said that when you see a weakness is someone, then advise him in private. If he doesn t listen to you, then pray for him. If he still doesn t mend his ways, then consider it a decree of Allah.
