1 243 - and a noble provision. your Lord the believers brought you out among a party As 4 while indeed, noble. in truth, and a provision from your home 5. Just as your Lord brought you out of your home in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers disliked. after what the truth concerning (were) looking. while they [the] death They dispute with you to they were driven 5 as if certainly disliked. was made clear, 6. They dispute with you concerning the truth after it was made clear, as if they were driven to death while they were looking on. that it (would be) (of) the two groups - one promised you And when 6 would be the armed (one) other than that and you wished for you - and cut off by His words, the truth to justify But intended for you. 7. And when promised you that one of the two groups would be yours - and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But intended to justify the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers the truth When 8 That He might justify 7 the criminals. disliked (it) even if (of) the disbelievers the falsehood, (the) roots and prove false 8. That He might justify the truth and prove false the falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it. Indeed, I am [to] you, and He answered (of) your Lord one after another. the Angels of with a thousand you were seeking help going to reinforce you 9. When you sought help of your Lord, and He answered you, Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand Angels, following one another. and so that might be at rest. from except good tidings [the] victory but made it And not 9 And (there is) no your hearts. with it 10. I will cast terror in the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike above their necks and strike from them every fingertip. I am the Angels, to your Lord inspired When 11 your feet. (the) hearts in I will cast believed. those who so strengthen with you, the necks above so strike the terror, disbelieved - (of) those who 13. That is because they opposed and His Messenger. And whoever opposes and His Messenger, then indeed, is severe in penalty. (is) because they That opposes 12 fingertip[s]. every And whoever and His Messenger. from them and strike opposed 14. That (the penalty is yours). So taste it. And indeed, for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire. 13 in [the] penalty. (is the) punishment (is) severe for the disbelievers then indeed, and His Messenger, And that, So taste it. That O you who believe! When you meet those who disbelieve advancing (for battle), do not turn your backs to them. you meet the backs. When turn to them O you who believe! then (do) not advancing, 14 disbelieve (of) the Fire. those who 16. And whoever turns his back to them on that day, except as a strategy of war or to join (his) group, has certainly incurred the wrath of and his abode is Hell, a wretched destination. (as) a strategy except his back that day turns to them (he has) incurred certainly a group, to (to) join destination. a wretched (is) Hell, and his abode And whoever 15 or of war of wrath 17. (do) not 22 use (their) intellect. (do) not those who the dumb - (are) the deaf, surely, He (would) have made them hear. any good, in them (had) known And if while they surely they would have turned away, He had made them hear, And if 19. If you ask for victory, then certainly the victory has come to you. And if you desist, it is good for you, but if you will return, We too will return. And never will your forces avail you anything, even if they are numerous. And is with the believers. 20. O you who believe! Obey and His Messenger. And do not turn away from him when you hear (his order). 21. And do not be like those who say, We hear, while they do not hear. 22. Indeed, worst of the living creatures in the sight of are the deaf and the dumb, those who do not use their intellect. 23. And had known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would (still) have turned away, while they were averse. to Respond O you who believe! 23 (were) averse. Surah 8: The spoils of war (v ) Part O you who believe! 4 246 - and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that comes in between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered. And remember when you were few and deemed weak in the land fearing that people might do away with you, then He sheltered you, strengthened you with His help, and provided you with good things, so that you may be thankful. O you who believe! Do not betray and the Messenger nor betray your trusts while you know. (Do) not know. while you O you who believe! your trusts or betray 26 (be) thankful. and the Messenger, so that you may betray 28. And know that your wealth and your children are a trial. And that, with is a great reward. (are) a trial. and your children 28 great. (is) a reward your wealth with Him that And know 27 - And that 29. O you who believe! If you fear, He will grant you a criterion and will remove your evil deeds and forgive you. And is the Possessor of Great Bounty. He will grant your evil deeds, from you you fear If and will remove O you who believe! a criterion you 30. And when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you the Great. But would not punish them while you are among them, and would not punish them while they seek forgiveness. while they (should) punish them that not (is) for them its guardians? they are while not Al-Masjid Al-Haraam, from but the ones who fear, except its guardians But what hinder (people) Not (can be) 34. But why should not punish them while they hinder (people) from Al-Masjid Al- Haraam while they are not its guardians?
