2 Life history ز ارة أ م ألبن ن (عل ها ألسالم) Fatimah bint Hizam al-qilabiyya, commonly known as Bibi Umm ul-banin ("mother of several sons"), was born in 5 th Hijri year and passed away on 13th Jamadi us-sani 64 A.H. and was buried in the Jannat al-baqi cemetery in the holy city of Madinah. Bibi Umm ul-banin married to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A), after the martyrdom of his first wife Bibi Fatimah (SA). Bibi Ummul Banin and Imam Ali had four sons, of which the eldest was Al-Abbas ibn Ali (the commander of Husayn ibn Ali's forces at the Battle of Karbala). Also the other 3 sons Uthman ibn Ali, Abdullah ibn Ali and Jafar ibn Ali were martyred in Karbala.

7 ألسالم عل ك أ تها ألعالمة ألعاملة Peace be on you O the Knowledgeable & who acted on the knowledge

8 ألسالم عل ك أ تها ألفاضلة ألزك ة Peace be on you O Honored (Fazila) & Purified (Zakiya)

9 ألسالم عل ك أ تها ألتق ة ألنق ة Peace be upon you O Pious (Taqiya) & O Pure (Naqia)

10 ألسالم عل ك أ تها ألرض ة ألمرض ة Peace be upon you O Razia & Marziya (Pleased with HIS decree)

11 ألسالم عل ك ا زوجة ولي هللا Peace be upon you the wife of the Vicergent of Allah,

12 ألسالم عل ك ا حل لة أم ر ألمؤمن ن Peace be upon you o companion of Ameer ul Momineen

13 ألسالم عل ك ا أم ألبن ن Peace be on you, O Ummul Baneen

14 ألسالم عل ك ا أم ألعباس بن أم ر ألمؤمن ن عل ه ألسالم Peace be on you, the mother of Abbas, son of Amir al-mu mineen, Ali ibn Abu Talib,

15 ألسالم عل ك وعلى أوالدك أال ربعة ألمستشهد ن Peace be upon you & your four sons

16 ب ن دي أإلمام ألحس ن عل ه ألسالم وم عاشورأء who sacrificed their lives on Imam Hussain (as) on the day of Ashura

17 رضوأن هللا تعالى عل ك May Allah be pleased with you and

18 وجعل هللا أعالي ألجنة منزل ك وما وأك and make Heaven your home and resting place, with God s mercy and blessings.

19 ا وج هة عند هللا أشفعي لنا عند هللا O intimate of Allah, Stand by us when Allah sits in judgment over us.

20 وصلى هللا على محمد وأله ألط ب ن ألطاهر ن. Send Blessings on Muhammad & his pure family
