It was narrated that Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ liked the above phrase and when someone mentioned it during the prayer, he ﷺ said words to the effect that the gates of the Heavens had been opened for it. Ibn Umar said: "I never stopped saying it since I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying that." 10 Lā ilāha illa Allāhu wa hdahū lā shareeka lahū, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa Huwa alā kulli shay in Qadeer. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is fully powerful over all things. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned that whoever says the above ten times will be greately rewarded. 11 Rabbanā wa lakal hamd, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubārakan feeh. Our Lord, all praise is due only to You, praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed. The Prophet ﷺ mentioned that when the above words were said by someone after sami Allāhu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him) during salah when rising from ruku, he saw many angels scuffling to see which one of them could record it. The Prophet ﷺ mentioend that whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms the above (their faith by testifying), the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires. Abd Allah ibn Mas ud reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, During the Night Journey I met Ibrahim who said to me: O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Community, and tell them that the Paradise is of pure land, its water is sweet, and its expanse is vast, spacious and even. 14 Lā ilāha illa Allāh. There is no deity except Allah. Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When a servant of Allah utters the words lā ilāha illa Allāh (there is no deity except Allah) sincerely, the doors of heaven open up for these words until they reach the Throne of Allah, so long as its utterer keeps away from the major sins.
