Shalom and Thanks For Your Prayers THE BATTLE IN GAZA IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE! For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12) The Scriptures make it clear that Israel s enemies are also the enemies of the God of Israel and the Messiah of Israel. Psalm 83 says: O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God! For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads. They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones. They say, Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more! (Ps 83:1-4) This psalm makes it very clear that Israel s enemies are also God s enemies and the enemies of every true Christian. Therefore, it is not strange that Israel is the only nation in the Middle East where the Christian population is prospering and increasing. Israel s battle against Hamas in Gaza is a not just a military confrontation. It is

4 a spiritual battle against a powerful world ruler in Satan s kingdom. Militant Islamic terror is a danger, not just for Israel, but the entire world and especially every born again believer in Yeshua, Jesus. If Hamas is not stopped now in Gaza Islamic terror will increase tremendously in the whole world. Hamas goal is not just to get their state or even to destroy Israel. They could care less about the people in Gaza. Hamas goal is to set up a dictatorial, Islamic caliphate in order to dominate the whole world. NOW is the time to fast and pray for this world ruler to be stopped in Gaza. We MUST get behind Israel in prayer in their battle against Hamas! The time is NOW! It is extremely important that we continue to pray that Hamas agenda will be exposed in the media so that world opinion will begin to turn against them. Prayer Topics Thank God for the unity He has worked in Israel to fight against Hamas! Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore. (Ps 133:1,3) Pray for the Israeli Security Cabinet to continue to make the right decision to defeat Hamas and not allow any more ceasefires! The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will. (Pr 21:1) Pray for supernatural wisdom for the Israeli Army to defeat Hamas! The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the

5 LORD. (Pr 21:31) Pray that Israel will continue Operation Protective Edge until Hamas is defeated and the leaders of Hamas are brought to justice! Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon, who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground. Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, who said, Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God. (Ps 83:9-12) Continue to pray that Hamas true agenda and strategy to use innocent civilians as human shields will be exposed! Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible. (Eph 5:11-13) Pray that Hamas and all who support Hamas, including UNHRC and the media, will be brought to shame! Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD. Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever. (Ps 83:16-17) Pray that the media will begin to turn against Hamas! For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12) Pray for the Palestinians in Gaza to have their eyes opened and a movement to start among them to oust Hamas from Gaza! Gaza will writhe in agony, and Ekron too, for her hope will wither. Gaza will lose her king I will put an end to the pride of the Philistines. I will take the blood from their mouths, the forbidden food from between their teeth. Those

6 who are left will belong to our God and become a clan in Judah, and Ekron will be like the Jebusites. (Zec 9:5-7 NIV) Pray that Yeshua, Jesus, will show Himself to people in Gaza and they will see the Truth! And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Co 4:3-4) Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. (Ge 21:19) Am Yisrael Chai!
