During my work experience with him as a colleague and a direct report, he demonstrated very diversified knowledge in telecom on both the commercial as well as the technical side. He is very strong in corporate solution implementation and the detailed technical aspects of it. He is a very reasonable and decent colleague to work with and to manage as well. He enjoys very good and professional relations with his peers and his team as well. He was part of the Business Partners management team in IBM where he demonstrated his enthusiasm and drive. He succeeded not only in recruiting new partners but in developing new partnership types. His positive attitude and friendliness helped him excel in his role. In Vodafone Hisham quickly developed a strong knowledge of the Telecommunication industry dynamics became a valuable asset in the commercial team. I have known Hisham since September 2008 when he joined our M.S. program in Telecommunications Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. Our interdisciplinary program is a combination of technical and business courses which results in our graduates having the critical skills necessary to examine both the technical and managerial challenges in telecommunication networks. He was an outstanding student and was consistently ranked at the top of my classes. He completed two of my graduate networking courses (TM601 Applied Telecommunications Technologies and TM610 Business Information Networks). Together we examined topics which included broadband networking, TCP/IP, Wireless LANs and Ethernet, wireless cellular networks, ATM, MPLS, and VoIP. Hisham was a joy to have in-class. His work is first-rate, he always asked the important questions in our lecture, and he has superior analytical and organizational skills. He is also enthusiastic and enjoys learning. He also works very well in a team-based environment, is dedicated to his profession, and has excellent relationships with colleagues and other professors. 15 Experience - Working with IBM Business Partners Organization taught me how to develop effective B2B sales channels and Strategic Business Partnerships with different type of channels such as Distributors, Solution Providers, Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators and Agents. - Working with Telecom carriers HQ as OTH and in several operations and markets such as Vodafone, Djezzy, lacom and Beeline provided me with a strong M2M & B2B Product Marketing & Business Development Management skills and how the decision making process is being taken in carriers having been part of it. - Working with Solution Providers to wireless carriers was exactly doing the job description with wireless VAS and acting as a country manager for Mobizone & Gozoor Consultancy in N. America & Asia was actually an Account Marketing and Sales Management Position for WIND Mobile Canada. - My last position in Vimpelcom Laos enclosed the management of all the carrier s sales, marketing, communication and customer operation activities of a carrier and introduced me to new M2M services that may be suitable to the US market. I have more than five years of sales and marketing experience in telecom in USA & Canada.

16 Education - BSc in Communication and Electronics Engineering provided me with the engineering common sense and understanding of technical concepts in the communication industry. - MBA with International Marketing concentration provided me with the right business and commercial common sense and understanding of marketing strategies and business administration. - Telecom Management Masters (sponsored by AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T- Mobile) in Stevens with a GPS of 3.78 provided me with a technical and commercial understanding of technology and telecommunication business and project management. - Attended PMP Classes and currently pursuing a PMP.

17 Achievements Succeeded in turning Vimpelcom Laos negative net-adds into positive through creative marketing and sales acquisition programs. Achieved the acquisition target and 97% of budgeted Revenues. Succeeded to sell Sharks Storage Servers to carriers working with HP through an IBM Agent (BP) in a mega million deal with incumbent GSM carrier. Over achieved 2010 and 2011, 1.2M$ targets, from SW development, Mobile apps, platforms sales, Digital/social media services, PSMS and Mobile Digital content such as RT/FT/RBT/Games downloads through WIND mobile business partnership as well as through ondeck/offdeck aggregators. Acquired the two most strategic accounts for Vimpelcom s Beeline Lao. Launched Mobizone Digital & business in N. America from scratch. Launched the first GPRS/3G Mobile Connect Card in the MENA Region with Vodafone. Introduced M2M services in MENA region. Conducted Presales activities while being Product Marketing Manager. Attended and successfully passed IBM B2B business sales school and channels academy. Achieved IBM business partners sales targets.
