YOUR TOUR DAY BY DAY ITINERARY DAY 1 You land at New Delhi s international airport and after clearing Immigrations and Customs are met in the Arrival Hall by our colleague carrying an IPad paging board with your names on it. Transfer to the four star Park Hotel in Delhi for three nights with daily breakfast. DAY 2 New Delhi is the capital of India and a microcosm of the country. It is a modern metropolis which still preserves its traditional values and manages its multiple personalities effortlessly, making it a perfect gateway city to any North India journey. Historians believe that through Delhi s 1000 year old history, the city has been destroyed and rebuilt eight times, each time built by a new dynasty/ ruler. As a result Delhi grew and evolved, absorbing different religions, diverse cultures, both foreign and indigenous, and yet functioning as one organic entity and becoming the culturally secular city you see today. The remainder of the day is at leisure, with a welcome dinner at a restaurant in the evening. DAY 3 Your guide meets you in the lobby of your hotel after breakfast. The sightseeing starts in Old Delhi, the former Imperial capital. Here, you trade your vehicle for cycle rickshaws and enjoy a ride through the crowded streets of the 300 years old Chandini Chowk market. It is said that the moonlight reflecting on the canal, earned it its name, Chandini (Moonlit) Chowk (square). Today it is a busy market selling an extraordinary variety of items silver, jewelry, aromatic spices, leather, fruit and vegetables. Apothecaries sell home grown medicinal items, and roadside dentists display their bizarre array of equipment and false teeth. It is a wonderful introduction into the world of organized chaos of India! Disembark at Jama Masjid, believed to be the largest in India and Shah Jahan s last architectural legacy. Originally it was called Masjid-I-Jahanum which means The mosque commanding a view of the world. Begun in 1644, the mosque was not completed until It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets standing 40m high constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. After your visit you board your waiting vehicle and drive to Raj Ghat. A simple square platform of black marble marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in It is surrounded by a beautiful park with labelled trees planted by notables like Queen Elizabeth II, USA President Eisenhower, Ho Chi Minh and various others. In the afternoon drive past Lutyens New Delhi. Known as Rajpath or Kings Way - the wide tree lined avenues served as the capital city for the former British Empire. Among the buildings you drive past are the Secretariat buildings, Parliament House, Presidential Palace (Rashtrapathi Bhawan), and India Gate, a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the undivided Indian Army who died in the period Your next destination is one of the architectural triumphs of the Mughal Empire Humayun s Tomb. The tomb is one of earliest examples of Mughal architecture in India. Recently renovated with the gardens restored to their former splendor and the fountains working, it is a very attractive site. Architecturally, the mausoleum drew its inspiration from the styles prevalent in Samarkand, and the design of the Taj Mahal is based on this tomb. From here drive to Qutub Minar complex which has many historic monuments. The first mosque in India The Quwwat-Ul- Islam built from the dressed and carved stones of demolished temples lies in this complex. It establishes the political victory of Islam in Northern India. The Qutb Minar itself began in 1199 by Qutb ud din Aibak and was completed by his successors. This fluted elegant tower is decorated with elegant balconies and carvings.return to your hotel by evening. DAY 4 You take to the Indian skies today; check out after breakfast and transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is the spiritual heart of India and one of the oldest living cities in the world. She is as old as Thebes and Babylon with a history going back 2,500 years. The true name for Varanasi is Kashi which is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning to shine and look brilliant and Kashi (today, the old city area) is believed to be the home of the most powerful of the Triumvirate Indian deity, Lord Shiva. Adding to the city s importance is the fact that the most sacred stretch of the River Ganges flows through here. A devout Hindu believes, to die and be cremated in Varanasi, is to gain moksha or release from the eternal cycle of rebirth. You are met on arrival and assisted with your transfer to the four star Rivatas Hotel for two nights with Daily Breakfast. The afternoon is at leisure. You meet your guide in the lobby this evening and together you drive to the Old City. Here, you disembark and walk to the banks (ghats) of the Ganges. In contrast to the early mornings when the Ghats are a mass of people performing a wide variety of rituals, at sunset the main sounds are the temple bells as the priests start their preparations for the evening aarti ceremony. In the distance we will see the fires of the crematorium as the last of the cremations are performed before the sun goes down, and there are a few pilgrims taking a final dip in the River. Whilst the city is still busy, crowded and noisy, sunset slows and quietness life along the River. At the Ghats, you will board your waiting boat and sail past temples, abandoned palaces and the crematorium where people wait in a queue to cremate their loved ones. Your boat arrives at the main Ghat in time for the evening aarti ceremony, when priests perform a ritual to put the River to sleep and to ward off any evils. Accompanied by the hypnotic beat of drums and bells and the chanting of prayers, the whole ceremony is mesmerizing, ending with the release of hundreds of lamps into waters of the River. Our value-add on: You too, along with the hundreds others will have the option to release votive candles onto the River and watch them float away, as the Ganges carries wishes from your heart to the ears of the Gods. Return to your hotel after the ceremony. DAY 5 Sunrise and sunset are the most auspicious times in Hinduism. At sunrise you will once again take a boat down the River. People flock to the River to greet the rising sun and you will see a panorama of life in a pilgrim town. The activities vary from pilgrims taking a bath in the holy River, to yogis meditating on the steps leading to the River bank to women doing laundry and washing vessels. There is a certain timelessness about the sights which is extraordinary. After you disembark, you visit the old city, which is a fascinating insight into the rituals of Hinduism. Every temple is well attended and every street corner has roadside shrines and vendors selling garlands, incense sticks and other items used in worship. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later this morning you get the opportunity to explore some of the famous silk workshops. Silk is considered to be a pure textile and therefore it is used to dress the gods and the goddesses and is coveted by every Indian woman. As a result, weaving centers grew in and around the country s holy cities. In Varanasi, the art reached a zenith under the patronage of the Mughal Emperors and the weavers began producing rich, lustrous silk interwoven with silver and gold threads to create rich and vibrant brocades. Our value-add on: Today you will meet ustaad or master design maker whose lineage in weaving goes back centuries. His forefathers created works of art for the royal family of Banaras and a few of their creations are exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum. International designers like Kenzo and Hermes use Haji s fabrics. You will meet with him by appointment.

This afternoon you drive to Sarnath. Varanasi is sacred to the Buddhists because after gaining Enlightenment, the Buddha preached his first sermon to five disciples at the Deer Park here, enshrining the principals of his teaching into laws. The Dhamek Stupa marks the location of a once resplendent monastery. The first monk communities probably settled here in the 3rd century BC. Near the Dhamek Stupa is a new monastery built by the Buddhist Mahabodhi Society. The major events of Buddha s life are depicted here in wall paintings by a Japanese artist. Sarnath has an interesting Archaeological Museum (closed Fridays), which has preserved the famous Sarnath pillar whose capital forms India s national emblem. Our value add-on: End the day with the soothing chanting ceremony of the monks. A perfect end to a day that started with you participatinxg in some of the sacred rituals of Hinduism and ends with you walking in the footsteps of the prince who became the Buddha. DAY 6 Late morning, check out for your early afternoon flight to Khajuraho. You are met on arrival and assisted with your transfer to the four star Ramada Hotel for one night with daily breakfast. The tiny village of Khajuraho is famous for its remarkable complex of temples built in an inspired burst of creativity between 950 and 1050 AD under the Chandela kings. Of the original 85, only 25 survive and each is a masterpiece dedicated to different deities. The temples were lost among the forest for centuries and were accidentally discovered by a British army engineer in The presence of erotic temple sculpture, which accounts for less than 10% of the total carvings. Spend the afternoon discovering these temples, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide. Our value add-on: Attend the Sound-and- Light show this evening. This fascinating Son-et-Lumière spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th century to the present day. Mounted in the complex of the Western Group of temples, the 50-minute show runs in Hindi and in English every evening. Amitabh Bachchan, the Indian super star, narrates the story of Khajuraho in his mesmerising voice. DAY 7 Today is a travel day; your destination is Agra and you get to try the Indian railways this evening. But en route the train station of Jhansi you stop to discover Orchha. Check out after a relaxed breakfast. Approximately 4 hrs later is the stop of Orchha. In the middle of nowhere, almost abandoned, Orchha makes a rewarding stop between Khajuraho and Jhansi, and is a marvelous example of a medieval fort palace. Within the turreted walls are gardens, gateways, pavilions and temples, near the confluence of the Betwa and Jamni River. The Raj Mahal with its Hall of Private Audience exemplifies Bundela Rajput architecture. Despite the neglected appearance, there are some beautiful murals on the ceilings and walls of both religious and secular themes. The Jehangir Mahal was built in the 17th century and synthesizes both Hindu and Muslim styles. Around the central square courtyard are the three storied royal apartments decorated with domes, arches and hanging balconies. The decorative turquoise blue tiles, and latticed screens give this palace a delicate and airy feel. Across the river the Chattris, though sadly neglected are an atmospheric place to walk around in the afternoon, though the best sight of them are from the palaces. Our value-add on: Stop for lunch at the Orchha Resort before driving to the railway station. From Orchha the drive to Jhansi station will take 45 minutes. Here you will board the Shatabdi Express. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best way to see India is not on a plane at 35,000 feet, but at ground level on the incredible Indian railway system. You can safely forget media images of overcrowded suburban trains with people sitting on the roof. Your seats are pre booked for you and train travel is a safe, civilized, fun and comfortable way to get around India. You arrive in Agra around 2030 hrs and are met by our representative. Transfer to the four star Four Points by Sheraton Hotel for two nights with daily breakfast. DAY 8 AYour city exploration starts this morning after breakfast. Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat (seat of the Emperor). Today, a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices of red sandstone and white marble, narrow gullies and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. You start the tour at the Taj Mahal. This stunning mausoleum immortalized the name of Shah Jahan s last wife Mumtaz Mahal, light of the palace. Built by Indian artisans and artisans from neighboring Islamic countries, it is aptly described by the poet laureate Tagore as A tear on the face of eternity. Decorated with a mosaic of semi-precious stones and Persian calligraphy recreating verses from the Koran, the mausoleum is an important place of pilgrimage since the empress died in childbirth making her a martyr. Prayers are said and passages from Koran are constantly recited in the mosque and cenotaph chamber. After the Taj Mahal you drive to the mighty Agra fort. When the Mughal Emperor Akbar established his supremacy in Northern India, he began his first architectural venture, rebuilding the fort as a beautiful fort palace. The work was completed by his son and grandson, highlighting the Mughals ability to blend defensive and decorative architecture. Richly decorated with marble and mosaic, it was in a part of this fort that Shah Jahan spent the last years of his life, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. His private quarters, where he was confined, have a magical view of the Taj Mahal across the river Yamuna.Your last stop is Itamud-ud- Daulah. It was the first Mughal building to use the craft of facing buildings with white marble and decorating them with inlaid semi-precious stones, and art which reached its zenith in the Taj Mahal. Though lacking the grandeur and artistry of the Taj Mahal, Itmad- ud-daulah is small, intimate and serene. The afternoon is at leisure. Our value add-on: Option 1: This afternoon take a two hour walk discovering the Colonial Heritage of this city. Agra was the seat of power for the North West Province from , yet most people overlook its colonial history. The Cantonment area with colonial, early 19th century bungalows is one of the best preserved in the country and encompasses churches and a cathedral, as well as the post office, an art deco building constructed in 1905 whose grandeur reflects the importance of this method of communication and the telegraph office. The first telegraph line in India was laid from Calcutta to Agra and the first message was sent on 25 March 1854, it took 1hr 50 mins for the message to be converted from one end of the wire to another. Start the walk at the Amar Niwas bungalow of the family of Late Major Amar Singh who served in the Royal British Indian Army. Here, you are briefed about the British Rule and the Colonial face of Agra before you set out. The tour is done partly on Tonga s or rickshaws (Pedi cabs) and some stretches are done on foot, so wear comfortable shoes. The tour includes the bungalows of Cantonment, St George s Cathedral, Havelock Memorial Church, Post Office, St. Mary s Church, Queen Empress Mary Library, Telegraph Office, Sadar Bazar and Mother Teresa orphanage. The walk ends back at Amar Niwas with Hi-Tea with the family. Our value add-on: Option 2: Visit the Sheroes Hangout a café run by victims of acid attacks. The women running this place are a beautiful example of courage and persistence in defining their own lives. Apart from tasting the amazing food, you can also admire the different craftworks, read a book, or have a conversation with one of the Sheroes. Our value add-on: Option 3: This evening enjoy a live show a la Bollywood style reenacting the eternal love story of the stunning Taj Mahal.

DAY 9 After breakfast, you check out and drive to your next destination, Jaipur. The drive will take approx. 6 hrs excluding stops. An hour and a half outside Agra is your first stop, Fatehpur Sikri. A typical visit to Sikri takes about an hour and is worth the time. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri was temporarily the capital of the Mughal Empire under Akbar the Great. Built by Emperor Akbar to honor the Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of Akbars son and heir, this structure is constructed entirely in vibrant red sandstone, architecturally it draws its inspiration from Hindu, Persian and Islamic styles. Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals. The sloping levels of the city, connected into terraces, were utilised for various complexes such as Jami masjid, Buland-Darwazah and tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti; Khwabgah, Diwan-i-Khass, and Diwan-i-Am. The efficient system of drainage and watersupply adopted here suggest an extremely intelligent town-planning by the Mughal emperor but eventually, a lack of adequate water supply for a whole city lead to its abandonment 14 years later. Our value add-on: After Sikri, take a rest break at our lounge, exclusive for our clients only, before continuing your journey to Jaipur. A light lunch will be served here. Your last stop is at Abhaneri. Here visit the famous stepwell, Chand Baoli which dates to the 11th century. Rajasthan has many such tanks which served as community centers. These step wells are marvels of architecture, with steps and carvings all the way down to the water. But at about 64 feet deep, Chand Baoli is India s largest and deepest stepwells with 13 floors and was built in the 9th century for water harvesting. The baori has a precise geometrical pattern, hard to find in this age. The steps form a magical maze and the consequent play of light and shadow on the structure gives it a captivating look and offers opportunity for some amazing photography. There are no more stops now on the remaining drive to Jaipur, and you arrive by evening. Transfer directly to the four star Holiday Inn Centre for two nights with daily breakfast. After your long day, the remainder of the evening is at leisure. DAY 10 You have a full day of sightseeing ahead you. When prince, soldier and astronomer Sawai Jai Singh II built the pink harmonious city of Jaipur in 1727, he did it in accordance with a treatise on town planning and architecture, the Shilpa Shastra that is timely even today. In 1876, the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria visited India on a tour. Since pink denotes the color of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the whole city pink in colour to welcome the guests. It was then that Lord Albert exclaimed Jaipur to be a Pink City, and hence the name. Today many establishments and buildings still sport this colour and the name has stuck. You start with a visit to Amber Fort. Hill forts were always important to the Rajput rulers. Belonging to the Hindu Kshatriya or warrior class, they believed in the line from the sacred holy book, the Purana that a fort is the strength of a king. They built a number of such forts all over the state of Rajasthan; some made for purely defensive purposes, but most built as fort palaces. Amber is one of the finest examples of a fort palace, built similar in style to the surrounding richly

decorated Mughal courts. Inside the Fort you must visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jagmandir is the famous Sheesh Mahal Mirror Palace - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Our value add-on: After Amber, also visit the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing. The museum chronicles the regeneration of hand block printing techniques in Rajasthan using traditional methods and makes a great stop. In the afternoon visit the sprawling City Palace, a superb marriage of the Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. The seven storied Chandra Mahal (Moon Palace) is a sprawling complex with multiple courtyards, public buildings, astronomical observatory and zenana mahals (harems). Within the palace complex are several museums; including an interesting textile gallery exhibiting a fine selection of textiles and costumes from the royal collection. From the City Palace you enter the extraordinary Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II in Roughly translated the name means The Formula of Instruments. This is one of five observatories he built in northern India. The instruments resembling massive futuristic structures are actually highly sophisticated instruments which are accurate even today. Then drive though the busy streets for a photography stop at Hawa Mahal, the ornate pink façade an icon of the city. This five storied high screen composed of projected windows, balconies protected by fine latticed screens was destined to enable the ladies of the harem to observe the lively street scenes of the city from a position of privacy. You return to your hotel by evening. DAY 11 You have a long drive ahead of you today. Your destination is Jodhpur, and excluding stops the drive takes approx. 6 hrs. But, we have broken up the journey with a few interesting stops so while it will be a tiring day, it will still be rewarding and interesting. Start after breakfast. Over value add-on: 20 miles southeast of Jaipur is the old textileprinting town of Bagru. What makes Bagru unique is that it is one of the last bastions of printers predominantly using traditional vegetable dyes. The Chippa community who specialize in block printing work settled in the areas around Bagru and Sanganer and use blocks procured from the Khati carpenters of Jaipur, where tradition wood carvers make intricate and traditional designs from block of teak wood. Our value-add on: From Bagru you continue driving and the next stop is for lunch. Your lunch this afternoon will be at the charming heritage Nimaj Palace located in the quaint village of Nimaj. You have the option of strolling through the narrow lanes of the village and seeing up close the simple life led by the majority of the population outside the cities Post lunch you continue your drive to Jodhpur, arriving by late evening. Jodhpur is a beautiful trading town situated in Rajasthan province close to the famous Great Thar Desert. The city is also called the Blue City because most houses are painted in blue, the colour of the Brahmins. Jodhpur is said to have a particularly sweet hospitality; sweet shops are found at every corner and it is a tradition to start a meal with something sweet. On arrival in Jodhpur transfer to the Indana Hotel for two nights with daily breakfast DAY 12 Of all the forts of Rajatshan, there is none more impressive than the Mehrangarh Fort. Mehrangarh Fort is built on a hillock of rhyolite columns that rises 400 feet above the surrounding plains. The city of Jodhpur grew and developed around the Fort, which has been the headquarters of the Rathore clan that ruled this area for over 5 centuries. Generations of the royal family lived here, sometimes moving out of the Fort, but mostly living within. The Fort has lived through occupation, sieges from neighbouring kingdoms and what not. Mehrangarh, which means Fort of the Sun, is over 500 yards long making it one of the largest forts in India. At its highest, the fort rises to 120 feet and at its thickest it is about 70 feet. Visitors to Mehrangarh Fort enter through the Jai Pol, in 1808 following his defeat of invading forces from Jaipur. Just inside the gate are two sets of small hand prints, the sati (self-immolation) marks of royal widows who threw themselves on their maharajas funeral pyres the last to do so were Maharaja Man Singh s widows in The fort is divided into three sections the public areas, the Maharajas palaces, and the zenana, or queens Palaces. The zenana is decorated with exquisite sandstone filigree work. Within the fort is the museum which among its varied exhibits has an excellent collection of royal palanquins and the howdah section which has perhaps the finest collection of old ornate elephant howdahs in the world. Walking down from the fort you stop at Jaswant Thada, the graceful marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II ( ) and other Maharajas of Jodhpur. This milkywhite marble memorial sits above a small lake 1km northeast of Meherangarh and is an array of whimsical domes. Built in 1899, the cenotaph has some beautiful jalis (carved marble lattice screens) and is hung with portraits of Rathore rulers going back to the 13th century. Look out for the memorial to a peacock that flew into a funeral pyre. Round of the morning s sightseeing in the Old City. The Old City is a marvelous example of late 19th century town planning, blending modern and Rajput traditions. There are many fine old buildings including the Clock Tower, a hospital, the High Court and the railway station. At the Bazaar itself you can shop for Jodhpur s famous glass bangles, rugged leather mojri slippers made usually from camel leather, and the vivid tie and dye fabric; beautiful mirror worked fabric; and embroidered bedcovers and cushion covers which have been sourced from the neighboring state of Gujarat. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening you visit the home of a local family. This is a fun and great opportunity to not just interact with them but also learn about their culture, their family history and certainly some recipes and cooking skills from the lady of the house herself. The meal served is simple and wholesome and guaranteed to be delicious as only home cooked food can be! DAY 13 Today also is another travel day and you start after breakfast by road for Udaipur. The drive excluding stops is approx. 6 hrs but once again we have broken it up with a couple of stops to make it enjoyable and experiential. You drive across the Aravalli Hills, the oldest mountain range in the world. The scenery along the way is superb and you will see many vignettes of Rajasthani rural life. Among the sights you see are colorful villages, farms where an ancient system of irrigation using bullocks and a Persian wheel are still in practice, outdoor schools and the sartorially vibrant people who add a splash of color to the countryside. There are endless opportunities for photography. This is an opportunity to see life in India outside the cities and towns. Your first stop is at the white temples of Ranakpur to explore the intricate carvings and architecture of the sprawling Jain temples. An austere religion, the temple belies the dictates of simplicity promoted by the founder. The temple was built in 1439 and is dedicated to the first Jain Thirthankara or saint. The whole, including the extraordinary collection of 1144 uniquely carved pillars, the richly decorated ceilings, and the friezes depicting the lives of the 24 Jain Thirthankaras is fascinating. Continue to Udaipur after lunch and on arrival, transfer directly to the four star Ramada Resort & Spa for two nights with daily breakfast. Check-in and the remainder of the day is at leisure. DAY 14 Udaipur is the capital city of the legendary Sisodias of Mewar, believed to be direct descendants of the Sun (an insignia you ll see everywhere), and was built on the shores of Lake Pichola by Udai Singh II in Known as the City of Sunrise, it is often described as the most romantic city in India and was built around four man-made lakes. The placid blue waters reflect ethereal white palaces and temples, beyond which shimmer the distant Aravalli Hills, apparently the oldest range in the world, predating even the Himalayas. Your sightseeing starts after breakfast at the City Palace. This sprawling palace was built over three centuries and is a series of four interconnecting palaces,

illustrative of various architectural styles. In the main it is a blend of Rajput military architecture and lavish Mughal inspired decorative art on the inside. In terms of an exemplary eye to detail and craftsmanship, few palaces match the artwork in this palace. Also of particular note here is the exquisite collection of priceless Rajput Miniature paintings done in the Mewari tradition. You also take walk through the Crystal Gallery which has a rather eclectic collection of Crystal Object d art and furniture including a complete bedroom set, discovered recently in a store room in the palace. Another major attraction is Jagdish Temple the focal point of worship in the city. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the Universe. It is celebrated for being the largest temple in the city of Udaipur. The gateway of this temple can be sited at a distance of 150 meters from the Bara Pol of the City Palace. The splendid architecture of the temple boasts of a pyramidal spire, mandap (prayer hall) and a porch. The first and the second storey of the temple possess 50 pillars each. The intricate carvings on the pillars need an enduring sight to praise the noteworthy beauty of this temple. This temple was built keeping in the mind the Hindu architectural science of Vastushstra. Next visit the Sahelion Ki Bari or the Gardens of the Maids of Honour. This is a small ornamental pleasure garden decorated with elegant lotus pools, gushing fountains and black marble kiosks. End the morning with a walk through the Old City with your guide. Sharing space with cows, elephants, people, and the walk through the winding lanes is an interesting insight into lifestyles in what is referred to as small town India. Shops selling a variety of items, unexpected folk art decorating the walls of houses and small architectural gems like a latticed work Haveli window. The afternoon is at leisure Our value add-on: In the evening you take a sunset cruise on Lake Pichola, sailing past its picturesque Ghats and palaces. You stop at Jag Mandir which witnessed two important historical events. This 17th century water palace was the refuge for Prince Khurram later known as Shah Jahan when he was exiled by his father. His palace here is a curiosity the upper floor designed in the Hindu style while the lower floor is built in the Muslim style. Optional excursion: Sunset champagne hiking DAY 15 Today your India travel comes to an end this morning. Transfers are arranged to Udaipur airport, for your onward flights to Delhi then onto Australia.
