2 Option 2 : Single room (addition 40) 535 Enjoy Yoga on a deeper level AIM SILENCE RETREAT This Intensive Silence Retreat will allow participants to find a deep silence and obtain deeper insights into one-self and the healing power of silence (in action, speech and thought). In addition, participants will be inspired by the presentations and workshops on specific methods for relaxation (hatha yoga, yoga nidra) and philosophies and practices of meditation for better understanding of the process of silence. Immerging oneself in Sillence provides a window through which one witnesses with deepening awareness the nature of one s own mind. Over several days, the subtlety of that awareness becomes deeper and deeper. PROFILES OF THE TEACHERS Swami Ritavan Bharati, formerly known as Pandit Ananta/Dan Richey, (USA) has been a disciple of Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati for 40 years. He is educated and trained in the Himalayan tradition of Yoga and Medition. He holds several academic degrees in Eastern Philosophies, Psychology and Education. Swami Ritavan Bharati is the spiritual director of both the Meditation Centre in Minneapolis, USA, and SRSG, the ashram of the Tradition in Rishikesh, India. He is also senior teacher of the Himalyan International Teachers Training. Swami Ritavan took his vows of swamihood February 2007 during the celebration of Swami Veda Bharati s 60th year of teaching. Stephen (Stoma) Parker, PSY. D. lives currently in the USA, Minneapolis and he has been a disciple of Swami Veda Bharati for 40 years. He teaches at the Meditation Centre in Minneapolis and is a member of International Himalayan Yoga Teachers Association. He is also a faculty teacher at the Swami Rama Sadhaka Gram at Rishikesh, India. He teaches there twice

3 a year courses on Sanskrit, Vedanta philosophy and meditation. He has a BA summa cum laude in Sanskrit and wrote his end-thesis on a version of the Yoga Vasistha. He assisted Swami Veda with the end-redaction of Yoga Sutra s Volume II: Sadhana-pada. He is a practising clinical psychologist, Psy. D., and teacher of psychology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and senior teacher of the Teacher Training Program. Swami Ma Tripurashakti Bharati (Ma Tri) is a student of Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati. Taking birth in the Netherlands, plus being young and female, allows her to share the teachings of this Tradition from a unique perspective. A lifelong longing to know True Self, to be FREEEE, has brought her from the Art-Academy almost immediately to a life based on practice. This has led her to a life of sannyas before she was even 30. Knowing there is nothing new to say, she offers the same ancient teachings using modern ways of communication. She has built a website in both English and Dutch and creates animations on YouTube. Swami Ma Tripurashakti travels around in the world between different places such as Abhyasa Ashram (founded by Swami Jnaneshvara) and Sadhana Mandir, to practice, serve, and share the teaching of Yoga, Advaita Vedanta and Samaya Sri Vidya Tantra... Be in awe of the Divine Beauty of the apparent play of Pure Consciousness and devote every breath to know Her, Tripura, the One that plays in the Waking, Dreaming and Deep Sleep States! Website Swami Ma Tri: Shailendra Bisseswar comes from a family of yoga and meditation practitioners who are linked to the Himalayan Tradition. Yoga and meditation and especially his guide Swami Veda Bharati thus played an important role during his adolescence. He started his career as an electro technician and after completing certain phases of life the time arrived to join the gurukulam programme at SRSG in India. There he underwent from 2004 till 2007 an intense training under direct supervision of Swami Veda Bharati and his faculty staff. Upon leaving the programme Shailendra got the instruction to share to whatever degree he was able to grasp of the imparted teachings in order to keep the teachings alive. Since end of 2007 Shailendra is living back in Holland together with his wife (fellow SRSGstudent) and their two children. Currently he is sharing his basic understanding of Sanskrit, Yoga-philosophy and Hatha-Yoga at the Yoga studio in the Hague which his wife and him are running. He is a regular guest-teacher at a yoga institute in Rotterdam and assists during silence retreats and workshops organized by HYMNS. Uta Bisseswar began practising meditation and yoga as a teenager. Growing up right across the Himalayan Institute near Hamburg she easily came in contact with teachers like

4 Swami Rama and Pt. Usharbudh Arya (Swami Veda Bharati). After high school Uta volunteered for 15 months in a refugee camp in Texas. From 1992 till 1994 she joined the TTP (Teacher Training Programme) at the Himalayan Institute in Ahrensburg. Subsequently she taught hatha yoga at various schools of the Tradition in Germany. Uta has a Master degree in political science and worked as a policy officer for the German government. Her main engagement was the improvement of education for immigrant children. From 2005 till 2007 Uta followed the Gurukulam programme at SRSG in India. Currently she lives with her husband and their children in The Hague and together they run a yoga studio there. Furthermore Uta is a staff teacher of the Himalayan TTP in the Netherlands. Fees and Payment Regulation We offer the following payment regulation.
