1 Dr Jivraj Mehta Institute of Technology, Mogar Report on DJMIT NAVRATRI CELEBRATION on 26 th September 2014 INAUGURAL FUNCTION: Venue: DJMIT COLLEGE CAMPUS The inaugural function of the first DJMIT Navaratri Celebration began with inviting the dignitaries on the stage. The dignitaries included the honourable Chief Guest Shri Harishbhai Patel and Shri Narendra Shrimali, Chairman-CENT and DJMIT, Anand, Respected Guest of Honour Shri. Hasmukh Sutariya, Director DJMIT and Shri Kamlesh Solanki, Director DJMIT and Respected Judges for the event Prof. Dr. Archana Nanoty, Principal, DJMIT, Anand, Shri Sanjay Shrimali, Director DJMIT, Shri Bhupendra Patel Director DJMIT, Shri Vinod Parmar, Director DJMIT and Shri Mihir Shrimali Director DJMIT.

2 The function began with floral welcome of the dignitaries. Navratri is a celebration dedicated to all the goddesses and asking for their blessings in different aspects of a person s life. This festival is a symbol of health and prosperity. The event began with MATAJI NI AARTI and Prasad. Mataji Aarti by Chief Guest and Dignitaries All the students and staff members dress up traditionally performed the Gujarati Dance i.e. Garba dedicating to the goddess enthusiastically throughout the event. He declared that two coupons/tickets will be given to winners to see any movie of any show till 15 th October 2014 in his Multiplex at Anand which is one of the best in Anand. After the Garba and Prize Distribution, food was enjoyed by all the present during the event. Compeering was done by Prof. Krunali Patel of Civil Dept. and Prof. Shruti Raval of Mechanical Dept. for the Navratri event. Vote of thanks were proposed to the honourable Chief Guest, honourable Chairman, Respected Guest of Honour and Respected Judges including Principal Madam and Directors of the Institute, Heads of the Departments, All Staff Members, Volunteers,Sponsors and all the Students and participants.
