2 EVENTS TO BE ORGANIZED DURING PURNA KUMBH MELA 2013: Shrimad Bhagavad Katha (Discourse) : February 1 st to February 7 th 2013, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Katha will be conducted by Junapeethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar His Holiness Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj Yoga & Meditation Camps, Yagya, Prayer and Worship Ceremonies, and Sant-Bhandara : Every Morning Discourses by Saints and Lecture series : Daily from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Cultural Programmes & Events : Daily from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Special Programmes include: Devotional Folk Song and Dance performances (Ras-leela) Different Lecture series Variety of Cultural and Traditional Dance Festivals Regular Discourses by holy saints Convention and Gathering of Saints Yoga and Meditation Camps Life Management Workshops Evening Aarti Mantra-Deeksha (Initiation of disciples) Other Cultural Programs Venue: All programmes and events will be conducted at: Prabhu Premi Sangh Kumbh Mela Camp, Plot -9, Sector-9, Annapurna Marg Jhunsi (North Side) Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh) ACCOMODATION: Accommodation can be provided for a maximum of 7-10 days which will be available to guests only on the basis of prior reservation and approval. This accommodation facility is not possible without prior reservation and approval. In the case of those applicants for whom accommodation has been approved, it is mandatory to obtain reconfirmation 48 hours prior to their date of arrival and before commencement of their journey. Reservations made through the branches of Prabhu Premi Sangh will be accorded priority. In special circumstances, devotees who are incapable of incurring the accommodation expenses owing to financial reasons will be tried to be provided accommodation, as far as it will be possible.

Triveni Kutir (Dormitory): Common Accommodation (Single-bed) Contact Nos ; ; IMPORTANT: Accommodation at the Camp will be available to only pre-selected and predetermined guests. Hence it is extremely essential to make an advance booking for your accommodation. At the Kumbh Mela Camp, meals and refreshments will be free for every guest and visitor. Free medical service will be available 24X7 for all at the Kumbh Mela Camp. SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS: In accordance with government directives, it is mandatory for every camp visitor and guest to bring along an authorized and certified Identity Card, such as Voter Card, Pan Card, Ration Card, Driving License, Passport or any other kind of government issued I.D. It is also mandatory for guests who will be making their own accommodation arrangements and participating in the programmes at the Kumbh Mela Camp to bring along any of the above mentioned Identity Cards. Each guest will receive an I.D. card from the Kumbh Camp Office, prepared on the basis of the Identity card/i.d. proof provided by them. It is especially requested that keeping in view the security reasons, the ID issued by the Camp Office should remain with you at ALL times. If there is a branch of Prabhu Premi Sangh in your city then please inform them about the details of your arrival and departure through the representatives of the local branch, otherwise you can send this information through post, telephone, or . On the basis of the information furnished by you, the Office will issue you a Reference No. which will facilitate in making accommodation and other arrangements. You are requested to mention this reference number when making inquiries or communicating with the Prabhu Premi Sangh officials.

4 TRANSPORT: You can reach Allahabad via train (specific trains), bus, air, or private vehicles. There is sufficient parking space available in the camp. RAIL: To inquire about train services to Prayag (Allahabad) you can contact Rail Enquiry (Phone Nos: 131, 139) AIR: Flights are available from almost every city to Varanasi. One can easily reach Allahabad from Varanasi. Daily flights are also available from Delhi to Allahabad. During the Main Bathing Dates of the Purna Kumbh Mela, in accordance with the directions of the Mela authorities, entry of private vehicles is prohibited in the Mela area, but for the convenience of the travelers; buses, autos, rickshaws and other means will be available till a certain point. Thus, it will not be possible to provide parking arrangements for private vehicles. During the Main Bathing Dates of the Mela the movement of all vehicles will be stopped, you will be able to attain permission for movement only 3 days prior to or 2 days after the Main bathing Dates. Thus, during the Main Bathing dates you will be able to park your vehicle only in the authorized parking area outside the periphery of the Mela area. ATTENTION: Smoking, tobacco, alcohol and consumption of other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited in the premises of the Kumbh Camp. Use of candles, dhoop, incense sticks etc is prohibited in the Kumbh cottages and in all areas of the camp. You can keep an emergency light. You are requested to adhere to the fixed and scheduled timings for meals and refreshments as well as for the various events. Silence, japa-dhyaan, and solitude are recommended at the Kumbh camp. Do not accept food from strangers. Please maintain the dignity, purity and cleanliness of the Kumbh camp. Please discard all rubbish or garbage in the dustbin only. The Kumbh Camp is a polythene-free premise; please do not bring anything in polythene bags. The significance of the snaan (holy dip) during the Purna Kumbh Mela is similar at all ghats. Please be careful when visiting crowded places for the holy dip. Please Note: Kindly do not bring extremely old or sick persons, very small children or pregnant women.

5 REQUEST: Personal meeting with H.H. Acharya Shri will not be possible without seeking prior permission. Only sannyasis (saints) can accompany H.H. Acharya Shri for the Shahi Snaan. Other seekers, volunteers or office bearers shall not be permitted to accompany Him during the Shahi Snaan.
