Dear Sadharmik Brothers and Sisters: Message From The Chairman It is a great pleasure and honor to report that our center has successfully completed Ten Grand years of our new Temple and is sound in physical and financial condition with support from all of you. Board of Trustees and Executive Committee are working hard to maintain the integrity and unity of JCA and move forward. JCA is having different activities at the Center and requests all to participate and be part of it.. JCA just celebrated Tenth (10 th ) Pratishtha Anniversary of our Temple and Fifth (5 th ) Pratishtha Anniversary of Shri Ashtapadji and Shri Chovisi with great joy. This was the first time, on this Tenth Anniversary JCA BOT and EC made a great effort to give a chance to every JCA member to participate and take Labh in Dhwaja Aarohan Ceremony for Bhagwan Mahavirswami Temple by doing a draw, with entry of $251. It was a great success and was appreciated by all members. Please remember our roots and hearts are here in Jain Center of America, NY first. Specially, Rath Yatra was a great success on this occasion, many participated with great joy and happiness. Lot of efforts were made to organize Rath Yatra. On behalf of JCA, I specially thank Nareshbhai (Rathwala) for his efforts and all who had helped to make it a great success. JCA will be celebrating Paryushan Maha Parv and Das Lakshan in Sept 2015 and requests all to participate. All program details are given in this publication for Paryushan and Das Lakshan. If there are any changes JCA will send an to inform you, please check your . Your continued financial support is very much appreciated. JCA needs many Volunteers to help in all events, your help will be greatly appreciated. Please give your names to EC or JCA Manager as volunteer. This year JCA is very fortunate to have many great scholars and vidhikars for Paryushan and Das Lakshan for year 2015 and we request all of you to participate in these religious event and support JCA. JCA Sadharmik brother and his family has been serving Paryushan meals to all young Jain professionals and students in Tri state area for many years and will also be serving meals this year at no cost. This program has been a great success and participation has been increasing every year. Many Professionals and Students have been helped by this Jain Religious tradition of helping and sharing. These meals are served in Manhattan and few other cities. Some details are in this publication and more will be sent by s soon. I thank on behalf of JCA, our Sadharmik brother and his family for their generous help to Jain community and to keep up the Jain tradition. JCA encourages all Sadharmiks for such a great community help. JCA will be doing Ceremony of installing Gold Flowers, Gold Bhamandal and Gold Chattra in Shri Ashtapadji on Twenty four Thirthankar idols (Shri Chovisi) at Diwali celebration time. 4 Jai Jinendra, Dear Sadharmik Brothers and Sisters: Message From The President It gives me great pleasure in addressing all of you as the President of our center. In the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity of serving JCA as a volunteer, administrator, vice-president and now President. I have enjoyed being part of this vibrant community and felt honored to be of Seva to the Sangh. As we plan and execute for the Payurshana of 2015, I request all of you to take the maximum Laabh of the events. In the pages that follow, there is detailed description of all of the events, dates and times. Please make a note of the same and make sure that you all take part in all the events. We all know that schools have started, so do not make that our excuse. Remember when we were young, Payurshana were those days, where we had to go to Mandir, rain or shine, exams or sports. Those days created in all of us the Bhaav for our Dharma and we need to carry the traditions forward. It is our blessings that we will be conducting the Payurshana under the spiritual guidance of Shri Pravinbhai Sanghavi, Shri Prof. Dr. Dharam Chandji Jain and Shri Abhayji Dagade. JCA has coordinated the scholar visit for all the years and this time too, they remain the main attraction and reason for having a great Payurshana and Das Lakshan. From the bottom of my heart, I wish ANUMODNA to all of you for your Tapasya in advance. I hope that you all plan to enjoy the religious fervor of the events and at the same time, increase the spiritual awareness of your soul. It is our sincere effort to make this Payurshana and Das Lakshan, a vibration that can be felt in all days to come.
