1 SSB INTERVIEWS SSC(NT)-106 : OCT 2017 COURSE IN THE ARMY SELECTION CENTRE NORTH, KAPURTHALA (LIST UPDATED AS ON 29 MAR 2017) (TELE NO ) 1. Candidates are required to report at Parking Zone, outside platform No 1, Kapurthala Railway Station at 1700 hours on the dates as specified against each for their SSB Interviews for the Subject Course scheduled to be held at Selection Centre North Kapurthala. They are required to bring the following documents in original alongwith two self attested photocopies of each document :- (a) Passing certificate of matriculation exam for verification of age proof. (b) Passing certificate of 12th standard. (c) Mark sheets of 10th and 12th standards. (d) Semester / year wise independent marks sheets of Graduation. (e) Degree / Provisioinal Degree Certificate of Graduation. (f) Your identity proof with photograph. (Any two of college ID card, Voter ID card, PAN card, UPSC admit card, Passport, Driving license, etc.). (g) UPSC admit card. (h) In case of appearing candidates in the final semester / year exam, bring a Bonafied Certificate on the original letter head duly signed by Principal / head of the institution stating that you are appearing in the final semester / year exam which must be completed on or before 01 AUG (j) In case, you are not able to bring any original marks sheet for a particular class / semester / year for reasons of appearing in the back / re-evaluation / improvement / any other bonafide reason, you must bring atleast two attested photocopies of those marks sheets by the authority with which they are deposited and this fact must be included in the bonafide certificate which is obtained from the Principal / Head of the institute. (k) 20 coulor passport size photo with white background. 2. For ease of management and better administration of test, it is advised and expected that you avail the opportunity with the regular batch utilising the primary choice. Under exceptional circumstances only, you may decide to report on the date of secondary choice, in which case you will be required to bring a certificate obtained from the concerned authority as indicated below, enumerating the circumstances under which you could not report on the primary choice. (a) For Educational/Health Constraints Ser No Circumstances/Constraints Certificate to be signed by (i) (ii) Educational Health Principal/ Head of the institution Government Medical Officer (b) For Social/ Administration Constraints Place of your residen ce Certificate to be signed by Village Town City Sarpanch/ Gram Pradhan ADM/ SP DM/ SSP Metropolitan Commissioner/ IGP/ Mayor

2 3. Common call up instructions for SSB interviews are available on the website for your information and compliance. It is here clarified that receiving Call Up letter does not make you eligible for SSB interview. Candidates are advised to ascertain their eligibility criteria as per the notification. In case, you fail to produce any requisite documents, you are liable to be returned without being interviewed and NO reimbursement of TA will be made. In case, you are a local candidate of Kapurthala or your parent/guardian is employed in the Selection Centre, Kapurthala please, intimate his/her particulars to this centre immediately by fax/speed post and await further instructions. 4. Permanent Body Tattoo(s) Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. Tribes with tattoo marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis, in such cases a self certified certificate (Format of these certificates have been uploaded on joinindianarmy.nic.in the official website of Recruiting Directorate.) of undertaking declaring details of all permanent body tattoo(s), is required to be submitted at the time of reporting. 5. Entitlement to Travelling Allowance :- Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of commission ie permanent or short service in the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force shall be entitled for AC-III tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indidan limits on producing hard copy of the valid tickets. Candidates who apply again for the same type of commission will not be entitled to travelling allowance on any subsequent occasion.
