1 LADAKH - JEEP SAFARI Ladakh is traversed by other mountain chains, the Ladakh range and Zanaskar range. It is rightly called Land of endless discovery. A vast highland desert at an altitude of feet, LEH is the centre of Buddhist culture. The participants would be visiting Thiksey Gompa, Hemis Gompa, Stok Palace, Shanti Stupa and Magnetic Point. The highest motorable road in the world, KHARDUNGLA is another destination. PANGONG TSO a brackish water lake at an altitude of ft. must be the highest such lake in the world. Interestingly, one third of this lake belongs to India and the remaining water belongs to China. Nubra is a high altitude cold desert. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. Jeep safari from Srinagar to Leh enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war famous peaks (Tiger, Tololing). Also takes one across crystal clear streams and green forested valleys, high snow streaked mountain slopes and also stark landscapes with high rocky mountains and arid desert. Route from Leh to Manali will cross all the spectacular and awe inspiring mountain passes - Tanglang La, Lachunglang La, Baralacha La and Rohtang La. Accommodation: In decent hotels on sharing basis. Jeep: Six person will share one Jeep. Please Carry: Four to Five pairs of casual clothes, one pair of heavy woolens, night dress, hand gloves, sunscreen lotion, cap, sunglasses, sports shoes, cotton socks, floaters / sandals, water bag with strap, torch, snacks, music Cd or Pendrive, day pack, 2 Passport size photograps and sanitary requisites. Please carry sleeping material for Non Ac train journey. Registration: Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance of Rs /- for Non Ac Train journey and Rs /- for 3 Ac train journey to confirm your booking. The balance payment should reach our office at least 15 days before the commencement of the journey. Reservation is done on first come first served basis. Railway reservation will depend on the avalability of tickets. Cheques or DD should be in favour of NEEDS, payable at Ahmedabad only. Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food will be served. Jain food will be available on prior request. Two bottles of drinking water per day will be provided during the train journey. Essential Medical: First aid would be available throughout the programme. All emergences would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility. Please Submit: A Photocopy of the Photo ID proof at the time of registration and the same original Photo ID proof, seven days before departure. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original Photo ID. Please Note: Road journey in all the programmes would be in Non Ac vehicles. Participants will have to look after their luggage throughout the journey as well as during the camp/tour. Doctor s certificate would be required if the participant is undergoing any medical treatment, is over-weight or above 60 years.

2 NEEDS reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant during the camp/eco-tour in event of unreasonable behaviour in such cases no refund will be given.
