Estuardo and Yasmine Marroquin Bro. Estuardo Marroquin Hispanic Missions Manager & Co-Pastor of El Camino, Laurel 2016 Annual Report Bro. Estuardo Marroquin is the Manager of Hispanic Missions for the Baptist Missionary Association of Mississippi. In addition, he is the Co-Pastor of El Camino Baptist Church in Laurel, MS. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:11 This verse of scripture is true at all times, and encourages our souls to share the gospel so that every single person can come to the knowledge of Jesus the Savior. In our communities and cities, we can see around us, people from different races and Hispanics are not the exception. In the new Hispanic structure in our BMAM association, the Lord has provided a great vision to increase our efforts and reach our goals. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 Our Vision: In partnership with churches and local associations, of the Baptist Missionary Association of Mississippi, we will seek to plant new Hispanic churches through any biblical means possible. The Lord told Jeremiah Call unto me, and not only will He answer, He will show great and mighty things. This vision and this power gave to our Hispanic Ministry the capacity to go and plant more Hispanic churches in our state. 1

We started 2016 with many blessings. Three men were ordained to the ministry and three men were licensed to the ministry. This increased our joy to be witnesses of this great step, and gave us the vision to go forward with the desire to plant more Hispanic churches. We set a goal to plant 3 new Hispanic missions across the state. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:14,15 We held the first Hispanic Missions conference at El Camino Hispanic Mission in Hattiesburg. Four men accepted the call from the Lord to be involved in Missions. May was a month of exciting things. After praying and reviewing our possibilities to continue to grow the Hispanic ministry, two men began to visit different cities with the objective of starting new Hispanic Missions. Today, Bro. Lucas Gomes is on a new mission field in Canton, MS and Bro. Daniel Polanco is on the mission field in Olive Branch, MS. They are doing great things for our Lord and our BMAM Hispanic Ministry. Together with sponsoring and helping churches, we have added two new church planters and one new Hispanic opportunity has been identified. As a great team, personally, I thank the Lord for every man involved in our Hispanic Ministry: Bro. Elvis Garcia, Hispanic Coordinator, Bro. Marciano Montalvo, Pastor El Camino Church in Laurel, Bro. Leo Adan, El Camino Mission in Hattiesburg, Bro. Jaime Galicia, El Camino Mission in Biloxi, Bro. Byron Morales, Pastor Way, Truth and Life, Ripley, Bro. Humberto Regalado, Pastor Way, Truth and Life, Tupelo, Bro. Luis Huchin, Way, Truth and Life, Oxford, Bro. Lucas Gomes, Hispanic Mission, Canton, and Bro. Daniel Polanco Hispanic Mission, Olive Branch. I want to express my deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve as Manager in our Hispanic ministry and my thanks for your prayers and all the support. It is a great honor to be a part of the BMA of Mississippi. In Christ, Estuardo Marroquin 2

Bro. Elvis Garcia Hispanic Missions Coordinator, and Co-Pastor of Way, Truth & Life, Ripley 2016 Annual Report Bro. Elvis Garcia was born in Guatemala City, June 8, He attended school in Guatemala and attended the University of Guatemala studying marketing. Growing up in Guatemala afforded him the opportunity to help BMMI teams visiting his country. He was baptized in 2000 and months later, surrendered to the ministry. In 2001 he became a missionary for his local church. He acquired a degree in Bible and Theology from the BMA Seminary in Guatemala City. He became a Certified Trainer for Evangelism Explosion International through the BMAA Seminary in Elvis & Wendy Garcia Jacksonville, TX; and is a former student of Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, MS. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Spanish Linguistics from Blue Mountain College. He is married to Wendy and they have two sons: Pablo (11), and Josue (8). The overall vision of the church that developed in Antioch of Syria has become my personal burden. I pray to God to let me be like those men of Cyprus and Cyrene who not only spoke the word of God to those of Antioch but also to the Greeks. I pray that the lord will allow us to send more missionaries like this church did with Barnabas and Saul. It is the first time here that the Bible mentions this group as Christians to define them as followers of Christ. The influence of this group of believers was tremendous. We want to develop an epicenter of God's power. The exponential growth was everywhere preaching the good news, and all Asia was filled with this message. We want to fill the entire state of Mississippi and the world with the message of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. General objectives: At the beginning of this year, our primary objective was to start three new missions, organize two missionary conferences: one in the North and one in the South of the state and to collaborate in the development of each mission in Evangelism, Discipleship, Small Groups and Bible Institutes. Objectives for the Mission Work: Bible School development in Tupelo and Hattiesburg as outreach programs and training. The formalization of the meetings, ministry and small groups in Oxford and Biloxi. The Planning, Development and Start of new churches in Olive Branch and Canton. It is my desire to be a catalyst for a church planting movement in strategic areas within the state of MS. Objectives for each missionary: Provide each missionary with training, based on church planting development. Help in the development of a personal and ministerial vision where we can see a great need. Help in the development of a support network of Hispanic missionaries. Goals for next year: Exponential multiplication thru missionary development. The Creation of Catalyst churches in the North and South which can be sending and training centers, for the purpose of incrementing our productivity and for others churches to follow. The development of biblical 3

institutes on the current mission fields in order to enhance leadership and training of new members, who will be future missionaries. Organize current missions projects as self-sustaining churches. License and Ordain more pastors around the state. Miles driven: January , February , March , April , May , June , July 786, August 148 Souls won personally: 21; Training done in Small Groups, Evangelism, Discipleship, Development and Strategy: 30; Sermons preach: 25 I appreciate the spiritual, moral and economic support that you do for the ministry. Every time we give to missions, we are investing in the Kingdom of God. 8 El Camino Baptist Church Laurel Marciano Montalvo, Co-Pastor Since God gave me the privilege of being ordained as a pastor, we have the desire to honor and serve the Lord and carry the message of salvation to the lost. Also, serving the Lord with my brother, Pastor Estuardo Marroquin has been a great blessing. Marciano Montalvo OUR VISION: To be a Christian church that trains and empowers each member to be a soul winner, and thus fulfill the mandate of our Lord, to go and make disciples and to reach every corner of the city of Laurel. OUR OBJECTIVES: To help each member to grow and mature spiritually through discipleship, Sunday School, preaching, Bible school and trainings offered by our church body for their own development. During these months we are developing the ministries of the church in evangelism, teaching, service, worship and stewardship. OUR GOALS: To prepare new leaders in the remaining months of this year for multiplication of each small group. Currently, we have seven small groups in action, that do soul winning, visiting and discipling new believers. There are also three groups of sisters who pray every Tuesday in order to win more women to Christ. The goal of each group is to win five women within three months in order to get the goal of five groups of prayer by the end of the year. Since January, to this date, 40 people have been evangelized, 10 have made professions of faith, and 2 have been baptized. On September 3-4, we had our summer camp with an attendance of 140 people where many brothers renewed their commitment to God and came back with a fervent spirit of serving the Lord. PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR: Keep applying the vision of our church to reach our goals. 5

El Camino Hattiesburg Sponsored by El Camino Laurel In February 2016 I started to work for the Lord in this beautiful place, Hattiesburg. We started developing short and long term goals and today I want to share some of what we have achieved. Since I started serving, we have done activities such as: Leo Adan Children's Day celebration. We had very good attendance more than 90 children and adults heard the messages and many of them received Jesus in their heart. Mother's Day celebration- This activity was a success and one person accepted Christ. Vacation Bible School- We had good attendance. Small Group Explosion- A gathering of our 2 small groups with good attendance. Over 40 people attended and one person was baptized. God has been good. Achievements: We have helped improve the attendance from 35 to 40 attendees. Fifteen people have made professions of faith, seven people are being discipled, three people have demonstrated their faith publicly through scriptural baptism. We recently have received training to do soul winning and soon we will be providing training to Sunday school teachers. We pray that the Lord will bless our efforts and we ask for your prayers for the BAPTIST MISSION OF HATTIESBURG. As a missionary I have the desire to continue working hard for Him. We know this is just the beginning. God has great purposes for our missions efforts in Hattiesburg, MS. 6

El Camino Biloxi Sponsored by: El Camino Laurel God has put in our hearts the desire to reach those lost souls who need the gospel which we have received by the grace of God. We are currently working in the city of Biloxi in the south of the state of Mississippi. Rodolfo Galicia OUR VISION: To carry and communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to all around the city of Biloxi and to train new believers to do soul winning, discipleship and to develop their spiritual gifts and abilities. OUR OBJECTIVES: Train each new believer through Discipleship, Sunday School and preaching and To have more missionaries from our mission work, develop a good Bible school to train young people to be devoted to the cause of Jesus Christ. OUR GOALS FOR 2017: Win two souls per week, train three per month through Bible study and open two new homes for small groups in six months. Achievements for 2016: We start the first small group at the home of Sister Carmen and her daughter and we are having between 8-10 in attendance per week. We won the family of Brother Victor; his wife, Yolanda, and his two children and also the family of Brother Alam, and his wife, Paty, and two children, Alam Jr, and his four-year-old girl. STATISTICS Thirty people accepted Christ through sharing the gospel. A new family was added to the small group. Three people where discipled and we have ten as candidates for disipleship. Jaime Galicia 7

El Camino Canton Sponsored by El Camino Laurel It is an honor for me to serve my Lord Jesus Christ through missionary work. For about 3 months I visited the city of Canton every Saturday. I live in Laurel and it is two hours away. We visited, discipled, did evangelism and then, at 3 pm I returned to Laurel for a small group. I've enjoyed meeting people and talking to them about the gospel. I know that God will do a great work in the city of Canton. Lucas Ramiro Gomez Perez My Goals for 2016: The first one for this year and the most important is that 20 people received Jesus in their heart, I want to create a base for new believers to be future candidates for discipling. Another goal for this year is that six people are fully discipled. The process of discipleship includes basic truths and biblical and doctrinal teaching. It lasts between 3 & 4 months. Sometimes new people are not in their house and the process lengthens more. Some give up halfway, so we need to look for another one and start the process. The ones that finish the discipleship will create a basis for a small group. Our ultimate goal is to formalize a small group with the disciples that we attain. It is a long process but it is efficient and helps from the beginning to have a solid basis to start the small group. Instead of just inviting people, we will have a group of disciples taught and trained for several months, already. Achievements: Twelve professions of faith and three people in the discipleship process, Goals for next year: With all this discipleship our main goal for next year is to start a small group at the beginning of the year, and begin to multiply from there. I just want to obey the great commandment that Jesus gave us: Go ye and make Disciples Matt 28:

Way, Truth and Life Baptist Church Ripley, MS Byron Morales, Co-Pastor Bryon Morales VISION: EVERY BELIEVER A DISCIPLE We want every person who receives Christ into his heart to begin to live as God wants and become His follower. EACH MEMBER A LEADER We want every member of the church to develop their leadership skills through the Spiritual Gifts God has given to him. EVERY HOME A SMALL GROUP We want every household in the church to become a place where the Bible is taught, so others can know the love of God. MISSION: Preach the gospel to others so they can know about Jesus and have salvation. The Church is commissioned by God to bring His Word to the ends of the earth... Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28: GOALS for 2016: To have 100 people in faithful attendance every Sunday; To multiply our cell groups to ten; To win five people per month and begin a process of discipleship for each one. OBJECTIVES: Train new members and bring them to leadership roles in the church Development of more Sunday School teachers (including the Children's Club) Prepare each member to be part of the leadership in any area within the church How do we get to our objectives? By empowering people and teaching them how to be better Christians every day. Teaching them how God gave us different spiritual gifts and motivate them to put them into practice. ACHIEVEMENTS: We managed to establish the Children's Club or Children's Church, held every Sunday, where children have their own Sunday service, where they learn, sing and play, learning the Bible's message. So far this year we have had a total of 9 baptisms We have shared the gospel every month and currently we are discipling seven people. 9

Way, Truth & Life Tupelo Sponsored by: Way, Truth & Life Ripley We are a Baptist mission that loves the Lord and our biggest desire is that every Spanish speaking person in the city of Tupelo can hear about Jesus Christ. In 2016 God allowed us to reach more people. Some have surrendered their lives to Christ. There is still much work to do and sometimes the task is overwhelming. We want to ask for your prayers and for wisdom to keep doing his will. Humberto Regalado Our vision is to connect our community with our Lord Jesus through evangelism. To encourage every new believer to develop a strong relationship with Jesus through personal discipleship and to guide each member of the church to develop their gifts and abilities to serve God and the community. Our main goal is to be the largest Hispanic church in the city of Tupelo. We will work to form ministries that help us reach more people and teach them the Word of God. In the future, we want to be a church that opens more missions to reach the lost. Our achievements in this year were very good, but we feel we could have done more. We led 14 souls to Christ. Nine people were disciple. Two families were added to the church. Two people were scripturally baptized. They are Jessenia Dezales and Maria Guadalupe Cabral. These two sisters have grown spiritually in the Word of God and now they serve the Lord as teachers of Sunday School. Also, our small group multiplied and now we are meeting in two homes every Friday: one led by me and the other by brother Jorge Garcia, a 22-year-old boy who loves the Lord. God has blessed the mission work and we pray to keep being part of it. Our goals for next year 2017 are to grow to 40 people in Sunday attendance. We want to open our own Bible School. We want to train more teachers for Sunday School. We want to multiply again our two small groups to have four at the end of next year and train more small group leaders for that purpose. Also, we want to evangelize 10 people each month. Please pray that we can do more for the cause of Christ. 10

Way, Truth & Life Oxford Sponsored by: Way, Truth & Life Ripley Luis Huchin God has placed a fervent appeal in our hearts to reach the lost and we are taking them to the feet of our Lord Jesus. Our Main Goal: To reach the Hispanic community residing in the city of Oxford in northern Mississippi. Our Mission: Matt 28: 9-20 Our Vision: Reaching the lost through personal evangelism, teaching each new believer how to develop a close relationship with Jesus and helping them mature through discipleship. Transmit the love to win the lost to every member of the mission and train them through the Bible Institute to develop future leaders and missionaries. Our Objectives: To disciple each new believer in order to train them to be good Disciplers. Train each member regarding how to evangelize. We want every believer educated and trained in the Bible school in order to serve God through their spiritual gifts and to serve other communities, planting churches Achievements Thanks to God and to the people who have been discipled in these 8 months, we have been able to increase our attendance from 20 to 25 last year to 38 to 40 people each Sunday. Goals for 2017 To win 4 souls per month To be consistent with 4 to 5 in discipleship training. To have evangelism and discipleship training every three months. Our mission obtained this year an adequate place for meetings due to the closure and sale of the property of Westview Baptist Church, where they allowed us to have meetings. We looked for some time and finally, we found a nice place. We want to thank the Missions Department and the Revolving Loan Fund for allowing us to buy our own property. Thanks to the loyalty of every brother in our mission, our major activity up to this date has been the Festival of Independence that we held on 4 September. All day, we had different activities and around 240 people visited us. We give the Glory to our Lord Jesus. 11

Way, Truth and Life Horn Lake Sponsored by Way, Truth and Life Ripley Byron and Daisy Polanco Missionaries to Olive Branch, MS The order of our Lord Jesus Christ is that the gospel is preached to the whole world. He has put a burden in our hearts and we ve already started working in the areas of Olive Branch, Southaven and Hernando. Our Methods: Evangelize people: So that they can know God and can be saved. Discipleship: Byron Polanco Instructing through personal Bible studies to the ones God saves, so they can be nourished spiritually and they can have a closer relationship with God. Develop Small Groups: Getting to establish weekly family gatherings in homes, to encourage the study of the Word of God and fellowship. Goals for 2016: We want to be able to evangelize and win 4 souls per month or one per week, to end this year with two people fully discipled and to start a small group for the purpose of Bible studies and keep developing the mission work from them. GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR: We want to be living in the area of mission work. We want to invest our lives into others to train them to lead a family group in six months. We want to have two small groups established with eight people discipled in each one and win 20 people for Christ. 12
