2 The Month of October a time for Appreciation and Awareness Pastors & Minister Appreciation month - purpose is to celebrate the contributions of pastors, reverends and ministers. 1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1 Thessalonians 5: And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work s sake. And be at peace among yourselves. National Bullying Prevention month - goal is to encourage communities to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact bullying has on all children of all ages. Unity Day Wednesday, October 24 th wear and share orange to show we are together against bullying and UNITED for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. November 13 th is World Kindness Day National Breast Cancer Awareness month - mission is to help women by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services. 6 SCRIPTURE(s) 2019 Vision: KINDNESS (Anti-Bullying) Discipleship, Choices Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, KINDNESS, humility, gentleness, and patience. Job 6:14 Anyone who withholds KINDNESS from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty. We are committed to impacting the lives of young ladies in our community. Transforming lives through kindness and compassion; developing disciples for Christ, young ladies who realize there is power in the Choices they make. Children who are perceived as different are often the target of Bullying *U.S. Secret Service study of Children who are Bullied repeatedly from a young age revealed, there is a point when the Bullied child flips roles and becomes the Bully (one commonality of school shooters).
