18 I Corinthians 15:1-2 Now let me remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then and still do now, for your faith is built on this wonderful message.
19 And it is this Good News that saves you if you firmly believe it - unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.
20 John 1:12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
21 Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes - Jews first and also Gentiles.
22 Why is a personal response to the Gospel necessary?
23 Romans 3:12 All have turned away from God; all have gone wrong. No one does good, not even one. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.
24 Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
