4 SPIRITUAL POWER: Peace vs Anxiety

5 Four reasons I get anxious with people and situations that destroy my Peace.

6 1. I get anxious, if I think that people will say something that will hurt me or put me in a situation that will make me feel uncomfortable, so I d rather stay away from them.

7 2. I get anxious when I think of what could happen in the future and once that starts I can t get it out of my head.

8 3. I get anxious when I think of the stuff that has happened to me in the past, and I feel stuck and I can t seem to move on in my life

9 4. I get anxious when I see how bad things are getting and I just can t see any solution to the horrid mess I m in.

10 Life is full of situations that can choke the life out of you and destroy your peace.

11 Luke 8:14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

12 Peace comes from the Prince of Peace

13 Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

14 Ephesians 2:14-18 For He Himself is our peace, 14 who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15 Ephesians 2:14-18 and that He might reconcile them both 16 to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to 17 you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

18 So how do I have Peace with God? Respond to Jesus invitation!

20 SIN IN YOUR LIFE burdens you change is essential. failing to do what you know is right (omission) Begin something new doing something that was wrong. (commission) Stop something old.

21 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God (Psalm 42:5).
