We hope that these resources will help inspire, enthuse and support your work with children in your ministry area. Our Godly Play Resources are held at Bishopstow whilst all other resources are held at the Diocesan Office. 5 Contents The lessons are presented in their suggested seasonal order of presentation. In Autumn, an opening session on the Church year is followed by Old Testament stories, from creation through the prophets. In Winter, we present the season of Advent and the Feasts of Christmas and Epiphany, followed by the parables. In Spring we present the faces of Christ during Lent, followed by Easter presentations, preparation of Pentecost, the Eucharist and the early Church. 7 Godly Play The Godly Play boxes and Volumes are available for loan from the office at Bishopstow. Please contact the Bishop s PA (Linda Ward) on to make arrangements for collection and return. Please ensure you complete a loan record sheet see page 4. Some of the items are breakable, please let Linda Ward know if anything needs replacing when you return the box. We want to ensure that everyone that uses the boxes has an enjoyable experience. 7

The library is open 9-5 Monday to Friday you are welcome to pop in anytime without appointment. Once you have decided what you would like to borrow please record the item(s) in the red borrowing file which is on the small table in the library.
