What Does That Mean? Untangling Tough Texts in the Bible: Do you ever find yourself scratching your head over things you read in the Bible? Do you wonder, for example, why the patriarchs had multiple wives, or which women actually found the empty tomb, or why there s a note in your Bible that says John 8:1-11 doesn t actually belong there? Then join us for this Sunday School class beginning Sunday, February 4 in the auditorium. This class will be taught by Pastor Don, and will run through the Spring Semester. Restarting on February 4th, will be the Immerse Bible Reading Group, facilitated by Laura McLean, meeting in the church library. Each week we read a large section of the Bible, then come together on Sunday morning to discuss what we ve read. Participants will have a place to voice their questions, talk about their concerns, and celebrate God s word together. This section will include Joshua II Kings. If you are interested in hearing more or would like to see the book-style Bible we use, talk to Laura today, or text her at Church Luncheon: TODAY Church family, the youth ministry will be hosting a church luncheon today directly after the 10:30 worship service. This is a great chance for some extended fellowship after our regular service. There is no cost for the luncheon, but if you would like to make a donation to help keep our youth trips and conferences affordable, we would be grateful. Hope to see you there!
