Pastor William McDowell A the first habitation when the Lord gave us the song Send the Rain A couple of days afterward David Hernandez had a prophetic dream I heard the Lord say, you ve been praying, you ve been sowing and now the Lord is going to send the rain. David Hernandez He left off talking about the veil having no clue that I m going to talk about the veil. Some of you are going to touch God in a way you ve never touched him before. Dream/Vision - In my spiritual sight that I saw, there was this field that went on for miles. A dirt field that had an agricultural purpose. There were hundreds of workers planting seeds, tilling ground, and working toward a Harvest. The dirt was dry, sweat was coming from their brows. They continue to work and sow and work toward the harvest. Then in the distance I saw a small cloud. it started to approach, then he black clouds billowed over miles and miles of dirt. I heard a thunder roar and it echoed around the valley. The workers looked up and they started working even faster. Then rain drops began to fall from the clouds. There was an instant harvest that began to show up. They were trying to keep up wth collecting the harvest. God said, Everything they have sown will grow when the rain of Heaven comes. It s both an encouragement and a warning (everything you ve sown will grow/harvest) The rain refreshed the workers who were working in the field all day every day, they became energized. they were working to keep up with it. The thunder was the sound of worship announcing the move of the Holy Spirit. This weekend we have a sound of worship announcing the coming move of the Holy Ghost. I believe with all my heart there s coming a move of the HS such as we ve never seen before. In social media things catch on and they go viral. We are poised for viral revival to move across this earth, you re going to see it in your lifetime Your children/family are coming to Jesus sooner than you believe. How do we cultivate it? You can t stop it. Your participation is about whether or not you get to be a part of what God is going to do. I AM a habitation. You are a habitation, a dwelling place, residence for the HS of God on the earth. God rends the Heavens and came down in Jesus. He always manifests through surrendered vessels like Jesus, like Mary. The only way that God can break through the veil between the natural and spiritual is through surrender to a degree that he worked through someone and they transfer between realms. Enoch walked with God and he WAS NOT. (Gen 5:24) He ceased to be where he used to be. Now that we have access, Heaven resides in you. You can be heaven in the earth. You are a habitation. You are an atmosphere. When you walk into rooms demons tremble in fear. Sickness has to go. (John 1:1; 14) The Word became flesh (Jesus) so that flesh could become the Word (us).
Jesus tore the heavens. Man could not do it. Man could not even desire to do it before God reached out to him. He gave us immediate access to the Father. Imagine how much time you would save in prayer and worship instead of begging God to hear you you believed he already did it. You are so consumed with what you re thinking - that s the flesh and the devil. Incarnation John 6 He became the life-giving spirit. (1 Cor 15:45) A heavenly download anyone can access from anywhere, You become the word of God. The Holy Spirit is Jesus on the cloud. We imagine that the Holy Sprit is a reward for the spiritually elite. We believe the Holy Spirit and his power is something that we earn. When you make a mistake the last thing you want to do is pray because you think you don t deserve the access to God. When you fall out of fellowship, the last thin you want do is go to church. There is no such thing as the spiritually elite or earning the power of the Holy Spirit. Don t let it be familiar to you, The same spirit that raised Christ form the dead dwells in you. (Romans 8:11) You have access. We imagine that the Holy Spirit is given in portions, but that s not so: Eg. A pastor invited me to his church saying that his congregation was now ready to hear about the Holy Spirit and the manifestations and spiritual gifts. He said, Now my people are ready to hear about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. I said, It sounds to me that you believe they have to come to a certain place before they can receive the Spirit s power. The Holy Spirit is not a reward for the super spiritual. He s the only chance you have to be spiritual! you wouldn t even want to be like Jesus without the power of the Holy Spirit. Dead men don t call on anyone. God called on us! Now we walk on the openness of the veil. You don t receive a little bit of the Holy Spirit upon salvation. He s not dividing the eternal into portions. When the HS came to dwell in you at salvatiol he was came in you in fullness. It s the same Holy Spirit that was in Gen 1 hovering over the waters and creating all reality as we know it. God spoke and the Holy Spirit moved. The same Holy Spirit that laid out the plans of temple and tabernacle. He is God like in Exodus of practical matters too. Excellence is a sign of being spirit filled! Daniel had spirit of excellence. (Dan. 6:3) Psalmist were moved poetry to the majesty and glory of God by the Spirit. He moved the prophets to reveal oracles and in Acts He confirmed their word raised Jesus from the dead with signs. Through Him they cast out devils. We get distracted, it takes us hours to cast out demons, because you re only spending minutes in prayers versus hours in prayers and minutes casting out demons. They were empowered by the christ to command sickness to leave - to perform miracles. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. (Romans 8:11) You re a temple of the HS - I am a habitation. There s a disconnect in the way we see the power of God in our lives versus what we read in the Bible. This is not a matter of how much you have of the Holy Spirit, it s about how much He has of you. You gave him your will at salvation, and you spend the rest of life giving over everything else.
Eg. I had a vision of a dark cavern-like structure. Jesus was walking with me. We and walked through the many corridors. Hey asked, Can I have this section? I said, Yes. and He d fill it with light. We moved through all sorts of caverns and structures. Then we came to one part and it was very dark. He said, Can I have this too? I said, I don t know if I want you to go in there. I don t know if I m ready to give that part yet. He patiently waited. Once God speaks he won t speak again until you obey. The longer you ignore him the harder he becomes to hear! After the internal conflict, I said, Lord you can have this too. Then It too filled with light. God said these corridors are your heart. The heart is deceitfully wicked (Jer 17:9). He gives us a new one, but it s a process. 16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord who is the Spirit makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. (2 Cor 3: 15) The way we experience the fulness of the open veil is through surrender. All true spirituality is founded upon simplicity. It s founded on singularity, and Jesus is that singularity. E.g. At 11 after I gave heart to the Lord, I consecrated my life. I said, Use me for Your glory. I consecrated my life. Seeking the face of Jesus. Jesus i have to know You. Change my nature. I was praying 4-8 hours per day as an 11 year old. My bibles fell apart every 6 months. There are seasons when God will draw you to those kinds of depths. I needed it because i was so full of the flesh. I was so skeptical I had to spend hours with the Lord to finally believe them. I may have needed those hours more than you do. God touches desperate people. I heard I could befriend the Holy Spirit and He could reveal Jesus. At first I thought of Him as an idea, a thing. I wondered, Is it idolatry if I pray to the HS? So I said, I m not leaving this room until I can see your face, until You touch me. I was so hungry to see Jesus that I prayed such prayers. The 1st hour was not so fruitful. I said like many do, I m gonna pray an hour and it ended up like 2 min. I say I m going to read 5 chapters every day and by chapter 10 I ask, What did I just read? I m gonna try harder. I tried the melancholy emotions like guilt to get God to a response. It s like when a phone call connection is bad, and the person on the other line starts yelling. it s not the volume it s the connection. You can t connect with the spirt through the flesh. God doesn t honor emotion, He honors faith, and He honors His Word. I went into all types of spiritual warfare and spiritual aggression. I called out the spirit of this and the spirit of that, spirits that aren t even in the Bible the 2nd hour 3rd hour passed. I reached for intellect, God give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding. So I puled
out Scripture and postured myself do stand or do I sit? The wisdom and the intellect failed. The ceiling fan was on, the light was on and I had worship music playing. Something happened. I just gave up. I was mad because he waited til the last minute to show up. Why do you always wait til i ve exhausted all my effort, emotion, and striving? So that when the miracle comes you can t get the glory. I looked at my hands, tears streaming down. Jesus I don t know how to find you. I don t know how to pray. Only the Holy Spirit knows how to get to the depths of God. For all of our striving and struggling and attempts in the flesh, it s as simple as just beholding Him. The inner chaos. All these issues of life coming and hitting us in different places. Silence and stillness are the keys. Silence is easy - you put away distractions, turn of the TV, etc. Turn off the music. But Lord! You can t move without the music. Be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46) Stillness precedes revelation and revelation is only by the Spirit. He had to tear that veil away, we couldn t do it. Stillness is the quieting of the soul. Mind battles. worries, anxieties, distractions responsibilities are plaguing us. How do you stop that? The key is stillness. Looking at Him, you are transformed into His image. God is not being facetious about your prayer life. It takes so long to find the deep places not because God isn t eager to move. He s not coming nearer, you re becoming more aware. It takes us time for us to become the people who can hear Him - to move past the flesh. To get revelation and you hold Him and you don t let go. Jesus I want your presence I need you. Then the presence of God starts to saturate your life. I went to school and the presence of God started to follow me in school. I shook a girl s hand and she hit the ground. We had payer meetings in school of about15 people, and as others walked toward the circle, they fell out in the power of God. I was in the elevator with a couple of ladies and they started trembling and crying. It was NOT something about me, but someone IN me! In the hotel lobby, a lady limped by. She started banging her leg. Then she starts jumping and screaming and said, I ve had pain for over 3 years after surgery. Something jumped off of you and the pain jumped off of me. God said, It s because I abide in you and every so often I like to reach out and touch people. I am a habitation. You can t fake the presence of God. You can fake the power of God, but not His presence. Hypocrites can preach the word and have power. 15 Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. 16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can t produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
21 Not everyone who calls out to me, Lord! Lord! will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name. 23 But I will reply, I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God s laws. (Math 7:15-23) The power of God will always back his Word, but His presence cannot be faked, duplicated, etc. It doesn t matter how many scriptures you quote, If you don t have it, it s not going to show Only the presence of the HOLY Ghost and the Word of God is what we need-the gospel is not about my dreams. Everywhere you go you become the will of God in the earth. The mantle of Jesus. Private prayer is revealed in pubic power. You don t have to do anything but behold him.everywhere you go there is true power. You can t force Him to move if He s not moving and you cant stop him if He is! You can t fight or force Him you can only flow. Worship can be as quiet as a whisper and drown out the world and the demons. And that s where I was tears flowing down my face. The Holy Spirit came upon me and told me to shut down the distractions. Just look at me. If desire could be an action, that s all the action I did in that moment - was to yearn and desire Him. The Holy Spirit touched my life that day. God the Father is incomprehensible. He had to send to Jesus to reveal Himself. It s like explaining an ipad to an ant. Jesus life is explaining God to us. He is the glory of God manifested in the flesh - Jesus. All hat God was, is and ever will be is in Him. God the Father has poisoned this piece of art, this Masterpiece. Jesus is the model, the Holy Spirit is the artist. Your surrendered life is the blank canvas on which he can paint the countenance of Christ. I am a habitation. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus and makes Him more real than we ve ever known. Jesus is the Son of God. There s only one way. John 14:6 The HS doesn t reveal allah or buddy he reveals Jesus.
