2 Mission Statement The mission of the Greater Beulah Baptist Church is to spiritually equip those who are charged to go out and change a dying world. The Affirmation of Faith I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth; and in Jesus Christ, His Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; The Third Day He rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to Judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, in the Baptist Church, the Communion of Saints, the Forgiveness of Sins, the Resurrection of Body and the Life Everlasting. Amen. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. 37. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39. And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? 45. And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. 46. And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray. 47. And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. 48. And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. 49. But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: 50. For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. 51. And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

She lost her home and all other possessions in a fire two weeks ago. It is during these times that the Greater Beulah church family should come together to help our members who are in need. Bible Study We will continue our Bible Study this Thursday evening with our study of the Baptist Church Covenant. Everyone is encouraged to come be a part of this great learning experience. Pastor Mallet Preaching at New Freedom Just a reminder that Pastor Mallet will be preaching at the New Freedom Baptist Church today at 3:00pm. The church is located at 2909 Winnebago Street, Baton Rouge. This will be for their Minister s Appreciation Program. The choir is asked to please plan to attend, as well as anyone else who is able.
