9 So, what is it about doubt that can make it good or bad? Doubt can quickly get in the way of faith. When doubt is allowed to rule, faith is clogged up. But faith seems to grow out of doubt. Certainty doesn t make room for faith - doubt does. So maybe what I need is flexible doubt that can yield to faith and trust after being awakened. GARY STANLEY AFTER THE PASSION

Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

It happened this way: 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. 3 "I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
