Our two worship services are going well with strong attendance at both. The choir at the 10:25 service is continuing through July. We have wonderful music in the 8:30 and the 10:25 services, and using the projectors and screens help us to lift our heads and voices together. We welcomed nine new members. Please be on the look-out for Al and Sally Beyer, Bill and Eva Ferrell, Carol Heidmous, Mary Ann Martin, John Rissel, Fred and Louise Roessler. We are grateful that they chose to become a part of the Holy Trinity family. Yippe for new friends. The renovations in Fellowship Hall are on schedule. So far the flooring in the bathrooms and serving room have been replaced. The plumbers and electricians have prepped the area for the new cabinets and pantries. When it all is completed, there should be lots of work and storage space. Many thanks to all who are helping to improve our Fellowship Hall. It is going to be fun to see the finished product. Every committee of session continues to design and coordinate their one page mission plans. Each committee has a focused intent on Living for Christ through Worship, Discipleship, Service, and Fellowship. As moderator of the session, I am so inspired by the effort and dedication each committee has in working towards achieving their goals. Celebrate your blessings. A birthday? An anniversary? Your child s or pet s birthday? Celebrate with a gift to Holy Trinity s Birthday/ Celebration fund & reduce our Mortgage. If a captain asks you to usher, please do so. When your birthday month arrives sign up to greet. These are two very easy ways to serve our church. Session also approved a request for Josh Brewer, Paul and Jocelyn s son, to serve as an intern in our music department. He is studying music at the University of South Florida and nearing graduation. This allows Josh some practical experience as he gets ready for his professional work. We welcome Josh, and are grateful with all that he will be sharing with us through the summer. Our deacons have started their on the job training, and gave great support for the first memorial service since their onset. They have also been diligent in making their phone calls to church members, providing care to people, and making visits. The transition to having a Board of Deacons has been smooth, and helps Holy Trinity keep a steady watch on our flock. Though each of us may have some summer plans and trips that take us away from Holy Trinity for a short time, do not stay away too long. You will not want to miss the many activities such as Bible Studies, experiences in worship, and the results of completed projects. It is good for us to rally at the church for worship, discipleship, to be able to serve others, and be in fellowship with one another. We need each other to be the church together. Blessings, Pastor Val

Our prayer chain consist of 13 warriors. If you have a prayer request for a family member, a friend or yourself you can call a warrior and it will be passed on to everyone on the list. We are warriors. The dictionary says a warrior is one engaged or experienced in battle. We feel engaged against all ills big or small, and asking God for his help. We do pray for all of you. You may not be on the list of requested prayers, but we pray that God will guide you and keep every one of you safe and free of pain and illness. I'll bet many of you do just that. If you would like to be a warrior please let us know. It is rewarding and you get to talk to and pray for some very nice people. Thank you. It is a good feeling being a member, sharing your gifts and making a contribution. This summer consider what committee you would like to join in the fall. We are enjoying getting to know the new members and encouraging them to become active. If a captain asks you to usher, please do so. When your birthday month arrives sign up to greet. 3 Page 3 July 2015 COMPUTER ALERT ABOUT THE UPCOMING RELEASE OF WINDOWS 10 OPERATING SYSTEM Microsoft announced on June 1, that it will release Windows 10 on July 29 th. If your current computer has Windows 7 SP1 operating system or you were unfortunate enough to have had to buy a new computer with Windows 8.1 operating system, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10. In fact, you probably have a White Windows Logo in the bottom right corner of your screen, which says Get Windows 10. Our advice is don t rush in to this and reserve the upgrade. Why? You may be sorry. If you do, it automatically installs on your computer on July 29 th, and you can not go back to your previous operating system as you could with previous Microsoft operating system upgrades. Your printer driver may not work, therefore your printer may not work (you may have to purchase a new one) Older software on your computer may not work, forcing you to have to purchase new software. You may not like the operating system and how if functions. Here is what we recommend instead: You have 1 year from July 29, so wait till Jan., 2016 to consider installing it. Let them get the bugs out of the system. Use this time to see if your printer manufacturer has developed a printer driver for your printer model for Windows 10. Check with your software vendors to see if they have developed drivers for the version of their software you have installed on your computer. Go to Staples or Office Depot, act like you are interested in buying a new computer with Windows 10 operating system, and have a clerk walk you through using Windows 10 so you get a feel on how it operates and whether you are going to like it. Does all this sound like we have been talking Greek? If so find a neighbor or friend who you know is a computer geek, and have them help you. We hope this has been some help to you. The Communications Committee MISSION REPORT Greetings from the members of the Mission Committee A special thank you to the members of the Holy Trinity family for their contributions to the May Pentecost Offering. The total amount collected was $357 of which $143 will be retained by the congregation for investment in local programs focused on children at risk and development of youth. The praise team and summer choir are working hard to have the best worship services possible for our Lord Jesus Christ, 8:30 am for the contemporary service and 10:25 for our traditional service. I know the folks in North Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and even farther out know we have a reputation at HTPC of having amazing Christmas and Easter cantatas so in that respect we have been lining up the Christmas cantata orchestra and our Christmas cantata books will be in soon with learning parts on cd's for each part, soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Cantata practice will start in early September, an hour each week on Thursdays at 5:30, please consider joining the choir and or the Christmas cantata choir in September; we'll be giving books and cd's out in late July for a head start to the Christmas season to those so inclined. Paul Brewer, Music Director
