4 May 31, 2015 OUR LADY OF FATIMA SCHOOL NEWS Our 8th graders have been busy with their R.O.P.E. (Rite of Passage Experience) presentations this week. We are always so happy to have parish members join us as the students review their time at Fatima and highlight what has meant the most for them. We look forward to seeing many members of our community at our "ending the debt" celebration on Saturday, June 6th, following the 5pm Mass in the Fatima School Gymnasium BBQ Dinner will be provided/families welcome Please be sure to RSVP by June 1st if you plan to join us (and we hope you do!). 5 PARISH NEWS Attention all Catholic young men ages 13-18! Do you know where your life is going? The Lord Jesus has a great plan for you! You are invited to attend Quo Vadis Days camp to spend time with other young men your age looking at the Lord s call in your life while having a great time. QVD is led by priests and seminarians of the Archdiocese. Archbishop Sartain will join us on Monday to celebrate Mass with the participants. QVD will be held from June 28th-July 1st at Camp Don Bosco near Carnation, WA. The cost of the camp will be covered by the Serra Club. Please check us out at if you are interested. All registration is online! Adult Volunteers needed We are looking for a few adult volunteers (ages 18+) to pressure wash all the sidewalks on the campus this summer over a couple of days. Please contact the parish office if you can help or lsmith@olfatima.org Cabrini Ministry Training is looking for individuals who are committed to growing in their faith, willing to share the Gospel of compassion with others, and ready to be transformed by the Holy Spirit! We offer an extensive training program that meets weekly from October to March. This training will forever change the way you communicate with those you love, the way you understand spirituality, and the way you reach out to others in need. Our training is based on Catholic theology, but is open to Christians of all denominations. Our primary training class will meet on Monday evenings at St. James Cathedral in Seattle.
