3 Indiana, with her husband and children. This is a good book with a good message. I bought it for my niece because I liked the idea that it would be an application ("Jesus is with me when I do X, Y, or Z") of the message that she gets from her parents when reading Bible stories. The only drawback for me was that it turned out to be a little bit on the masculine side, which wasn't apparent from the book description above. Rather than featuring a variety of children, the book shows the same boy on every page, and if I recall correctly some of the activities are more stereotypical boy activities than girl activities. Still a good book, just something to consider when deciding whether to buy. My favorite Board Book of all time!! For five great reasons:1. My kids love it. There are puppies on every page! Balls! Apples! Those were their first words, so they liked reading a book where they could actually identify and talk about the pictures.2. Right Message- I love the message it gets across. Jesus is your best friend and with you everywhere you go.3. Refreshingly Simple - This is a rare gem in that it actually keeps the message simple enough for a 1 or 2 year old to grasp. 90% of Christian books for kids are so wordy and that message is lost on the little one.4. It's a board book so it's able to handle the baby's chew-all-the-books stage5. It grows with them. As they get older they love looking for the cross hidden on each page!6. Did I mention - my kids love it as much as I do?addressing critiques:1. If you are giving this to someone who doesn't have any children's Bible or children's Bible stories, then yes, you do need to supplement! This isn't a Bible, it's a fun board book! For kids this age, I recommend the "God Loves Me Bible" by Susan Elizabeth Beck. When they turn three, I would get them one of the Jesus Storybook Bibles.2. I feel like this is very relatable for my kids even though they don't drive cars or feed the farm animals. Those are all concrete concepts that they can see and understand, whereas John 3:16 is totally abstract.for babies, age one, and two year olds, this book is the best! I purchased this game for my infant son for Christmas as a "Santa gift" in order to introduce faith to him. It's a book that we can read over and over. I love that it's very simple and to the point. There is absolutely nowhere you go that Jesus will not be. The illustrations are very sweet, very simple and inviting for young children. There are a variety of ethnic children illustrated, so kids from all over the world can identify with this beautiful book. Not a huge fan of this book. My husband pointed out that if you didn't know who Jesus was

4 supposed to be, you'd guess it was the little dog that is with him. The book never shows a picture of Jesus - just indicates he's with you. My kids seem to like it, so that's why I gave the book three stars instead of one. I was hoping for more. This is another fanstastic book by Joni Walker! This book does a great job of teaching children that Jesus is with you wherever and whatever you do. I love the page on doing chores - this book teaches children about Jesus being with you when you play and in more challenging times, but you always have a friend in Jesus. I often reference this book when my children are scared, lonely, or even crabby about doing chores - I can remind them that Jesus is with them encouraging and watching!the illustrations in this book are just adorable too! I wanted to like this children's book, but it is kind of nonsensical and don't think it will be helpful for my kids as the situations are not realistic. That's what you get for buying books online, kind of hit or miss. My 2 year old son loves this book and asks me to read it to him often. I like it too and I think the illustrations are really cute.
