1 SUPPLY LIST Winter - Year 1 Lessons Stewardship Note: Kids Kount Publishing recommends using a wide variety of resources with our lessons. This supply list is a guide. Our curriculum is meant to be adaptable, and this includes your selection of supplies. Feel free to substitute videos and crafts similar to the ones suggested. Check for items you may have on hand and adapt as needed. You may be able to use videos from your city library, video rental store, and members of your congregation or other churches. If you are comfortable ordering over the Internet, new and used sources are available for videos and supplies at various prices. But God in his mercy, kindness, and love; Gave them a promise that a Savior would come. ALL: Many years passed and people forgot; But God, ever faithful, he did not. LEADER: God passed the promise that a Savior would come To a man called Abram, who longed for a son. Under stars, God promised to make a great nation Through which all people would find salvation. ALL: Many years passed and people forgot; But God, ever faithful, he did not. LEADER: God passed the promise that a Savior would come To Isaac, Abraham and Sarah's beloved son. James 2:1 My brothers and sisters, practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ by not favoring one person over another. Ephesians 5:4 It s not right that dirty stories, foolish talk, or obscene jokes should be mentioned among you either. Instead, give thanks to God. Colossians 3:9-10 D on t lie to each other. You ve gotten rid of the person you used to be and the life you used to live and you ve become a new person. 28 Lesson 38: Cue cards for the Large group KING S PRAISE Everyone says together: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name For your prayer: Praise means telling God who he is or what he has done that makes him so great. Think of things about God that you can praise him for. You might want to praise him for being powerful and creating the world. You could praise him for giving us his son. You could praise Jesus for giving his life for you. You could praise the Holy Spirit for being with you and showing you about God. Start your prayer with: Dear God, I praise you that you are KING S KINGDOM Everyone says together: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. For your prayer: Think about how God can use you to help his kingdom grow. Pray for people who don t know God. Pray God s plans will be carried out in our world and in people s actions. Think of some ways God could act in people s lives. Child prays this petition in his own words. Dear God, I pray that your kingdom grows by... Start your prayer with: Dear God, Please come to us and KING S GIFTS Everyone says together: Give us this day our daily bread For your prayer: Pray for what you need everyday. You could pray for food and health. You could pray for other people s needs, others who don t have enough to eat. Are you worried about anything? Pray for that. God wants us to not worry about the future but pray that God would take care of us one day at a time. Start your prayer with: Dear God, Please provide us with 28

29 KING S FORGIVENESS Everyone says together: And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us For your prayer: Think of anything that you might be doing that would not be pleasing to God. Pray for forgiveness. Know that since Jesus gave his life for you on the cross, your sins are forgiven. Think about anyone who has done something against you. Give that person s actions to God by forgiving that person. Then ask God to take care of that person and to help him stop doing that bad thing. Start your prayer with: Dear God, Please forgive me for KING S PROTECTION Everyone says together: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. For your prayer: Pray that God would protect you from doing what the devil would want you to do. This is spiritual protection. Pray for faith to believe God s promises. Pray for the power of God s word to be used in you. Start your prayer with: Dear God, Please protect us

Praise God for who He is and what He has done. Write a journal entry. God s word says: Revelation 4:8b: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is coming. 31

32 Lesson 38, Small Group Application THE KING S KINGDOM Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Think about how God can use you to help his kingdom grow. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with certain gifts. Think about the needs of people whom God puts in your life. Pray for the unsaved. Pray God s plans will be carried out in our world and in people s actions. Write a journal entry. God s word says: Psalm 143:10: Teach me to do your will, because you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground. 32

33 Lesson 38, Small Group Application THE KING S GIFT S Give us this day our daily bread Think about all the things God gives you. Pray to be content. Give God all your worries. Write a journal entry. God s word says: Psalm 106:1-2: Give thanks to the LORD because he is good, because his mercy endures forever. 33

Ask for forgiveness. Ask God to help forgive those who have hurt you. Write a journal entry. God s word says: Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgive each other as God has forgiven you through Christ. 34

35 Lesson 38, Small Group Application THE KING S PROTECTION And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Think about the areas in your life in which you need protection from the devil. Ask God to help you say no when you are tempted to do something wrong. Ask God for protection from the bad things that can happen to you. Pray for victory in Jesus. Write a journal entry. God s word says: Psalm 103:1-4: Praise the LORD, my soul!
