Look At The Law, Should We Make 3 Annual Trips To Jerusalem?

4 What Rom 7:1-4 Teaches When a woman is married to 2 men at the same time it s called what? Adultery. If a Jew or anyone tries to live under the authority of OT & NT at the same time, that s called what? Spiritual Adultery. But if the 1 st husband dies, is she free to marry another? Also, the 1 st Covenant must be dead before anyone can live under the 2 nd!! Rom 7:4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

6 OUR GREAT SPIRITUAL PROBLEM Isaiah 59:1-2 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

7 Read: 1Jo 3:4; Jas 4:17 The Bible Defines SIN SIN is breaking God s Law [murder, stealing, immorality, adding to God s Word] SIN is NOT doing what we should [not feeding the hungry, not worshiping, not loving neighbor, not obeying Gospel] ALL HAVE SINNED (ROM 3:23) I REALIZE I HAVE SINNED --- HAVEN T YOU?

8 WHY DID CHRIST DIE? Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. FOR MY SINS! FOR MY FORGIVENESS! WHAT WOULD WE DO WERE IT NOT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD?

Remission of sins --- Acts 2:38; 22:16 It is The New Birth --- John 3:3-5; Romans 8:16-17 Places one In Christ --- Galatians 3:27; (Salvation is In Christ 2Timothy 2:10) Places one In The Body of Christ, The Church --- Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:4 (Christ will save The Body Ephesians 5:23; 1Corinthians 12:13) HAVE YOU BEEN BURIED IN WATER FOR THESE PURPOSES? (STUDY ACTS 19:1-5)

12 What Happens After You Are Baptized? The Lord Adds You To His Church --- Acts 2:41, 47 What Church Are You Added To? --- Matthew 16: Acts 20: Ephesians 1:22-23 THIS IS THE ONE I WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF HOW ABOUT YOU?

13 Christians Are Purchased With The Blood of Christ! We Now Belong To God --- 1Corinthians 6:19-20 We All Worship God Together --- Hebrews 10:25 We All Partake of The Lord s Supper --- Acts 20:7 We Must All Be Involved In The Work of The Church --- Titus 3:1; 1Corinthians 15:58 We Must Be Dedicated --- 2Corinthians 8:5; Revelation 2:10; Galatians 2:20 BAPTISM IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
