KALA AFGHANA BRIGADE PART 2A DANGER LURKING WRECK THE SRM and REBRAND SIKHI by Harnaak Singh Article Logic and Reasoning in Gurbani Fake Self-Made Guru Says SGGS Ji is a Logical Discourse? at Gurvichar LINK A refers. The conclusion was Gurbani does not agree with this Fake Self-made Guru who says that the entire Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Ek Oangkar right down to Mundavni is a long persuasive and a logical discourse. Today we look further into the ideology of this Fake Self-made Guru. We reveal the danger, a danger for Sikhi, lurking in his mind. NOTE: This Fake Self-made Guru, Karminder, is the Head of the Dharam Parchar Committee of Malaysian Gurdwaras Council (MGC). He is one of the leading Kala Afghana Malechh Khalsa in Malaysia preaching deviant distortion of Sikhi. He is believed to be operating with a number of FAKE IDs on Facebook. Two suspected ones are KVL Kaur and Lota Kaur Gill. Sangat Ji, please share other FAKE IDs that you are aware of. Besides FAKE IDs these Kala Afghana Brigade people have started setting up COPY CAT IMITATION using names of other Facebook community sites to confuse the Sangat with their distorted deviant preaching. Two have cropped up so far as exposed Beware of these deviant ones. Another one just discovered. See Figure 1 Figure 1: COPY CAT Imitation sites by the Kala Afghana Brigade 1
INTRODUCTION In the article Logic and Reasoning in Gurbani at LINK A pointed out that the Kala Afghana Brigade exponents in Malaysia condemn Guru Gobind Singh Ji s compositions with the most venomous and vulgar language while the SRM DEFINES Guru Gobind Singh Ji s compositions AS GURBANI. See Figure 2 where SRM states (c) in the congregation, kirtan only of Gurbani (Guru Granth s or Guru Gobind Singh s hymns). How can they claim to abide by the SRM? See available at SGPC website LINK B for the Akaal Takhat sanctioned SRM at SGPC website. We highlight that MGC had via its letter dated 12-Jul-2016 edicted that The Dasam Granth Bani cannot be preached or recited in a Gurdwara other than the 3 Banis that is, Jaap, 10 Sawayyas and Benti Chaupai. This clearly shows MGC is in breach of the SRM. This is not surprising because it is known that Karminder, Head of the Dharam Parchar Committee of MGC is dead against the Banee of Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the Dasam Granth and commands a strong influence on MGC. 2
Figure 2: SRM defines Guru Gobind Singh Ji s compositions as Gurbani Let us see what is in the mind of Karminder the Head of the Dharam Parchar Committee of MGC. WHAT IS IN THE MIND OF THE HEAD OF THE DHARAM PARCHAR COMMITTEE OF MGC? We chanced to come across, THANK GOD, an INVALUABLE TO THE PANTH WhatsApp message, shown in Figure 3 from Karminder to one of the Kala Afghana Brigade members. This message is so important to all Sikhs who have a feeling for the Panth and the long standing Sikhi tenets and practices coming down from our forefathers. This chance discovery is what can be termed a MIRACLE. 3
Figure 3: Message from Karminder to another Kala Afghana Brigade member (note member name is blocked out - yellow box) 4
He says that the man made SRM needs an overhaul and lays down the process they are going to follow. The message is quite explicit on the process in his message. We outline it below with his proposal in black text our comments in green or red italics: He lists two options (A) and (B). A. Reject the SRM This option will create anarchy and is harmful to the Panth and we (the Kala Afghana Brigade) loose the right to bring about amendment. We believe the harmful to the Panth is a comment to the member just to impress his concern for the Panth as regards his intent. He cares two hoots for the Panth being one of the MAIN PROPAGATORS OF THE CONTROVERSY CREATION IN MALAYSIA. He is more concerned about the total rejection of him and his cohorts in the KA Brigade. The process (this is the Kala Afghana Brigade sanctioned process) he advocates is listed below. B. Enter Into A COMMON STRUGGLE TO REFORM the SRM The steps 1. First accept the SRM 2. Get the entire Panth to come together under the ONE MARYADA. We want the Panth to stand together with us (the Kala Afghana Brigade). 3. Educate ourselves and the Panth over the defects of the SRM e.g. Hindu elements, the sanskars against SGGS, banees that are controversial. 4. Create a CRITICAL MASS of Sikhs who understand and want a reform. CRITICAL MASS is the most important. 5. Once CRITICAL MASS is obtained then through the Panthic processes make the change (to the SRM). We will analyse the steps in the process in the following. Accept the SRM They say they ACCEPT the SRM! This is but with the blinkered view of the FINAL SRM they WANT TO PROPAGATE. This means when they use the word SRM they mean the SRM they want to see after all the changes have been made. So essentially they REJECT the Akaal Takhat sanctioned SRM that is available at SGPC website LINK B. The extract is shown in Figure 2 above. However they covertly impress upon the Sangat that they abide by the SRM. In point (3) he has listed some of the changes they want. Let us discuss these. Note Figure 4 and 5 highlight the main ones. Also their ideology is well documented at Gurvichar for 5
example LINK C lists the main members/organisations of the Kala Afghana Brigade and their ideology. Figure 4: The Preachings of the Kala Afghana Brigade 6
Figure 5: Lies and Fake propaganda by the Kala Afghana Brigade Hindu elements They want Hindu elements removed. There are numerous references to Sanatan Matt (which they mean by the term Hindu elements) throughout the SGGS Ji as well as the Dasam Granth and our other Canons as well as other historical records, historical and other reference documents. This appears to be the use of racial sentiments to generate the CRITICAL MASS. Removing the Sanatan Matt references in the SGGS would leave it a fraction of what it is now. Sanskars against SGGS Sanskars refers to our traditional practices for example celebrating our Gurus Gurpurabs and other functions, Amrit Sanchar, Akhand Path, Nishan Sahib, Sangrand, Metha Teykna, our faith in the sarovars at our apex and historical Gurdwaras e.g. Harmandir Sahib, and many others. They claim these are reflecting Hindu ritual practices, again using racial overtones. 7
They also reject inexplicable events e.g. Guru Nanak and panja, how could Guru Arjan sit on the tatty tavee, etc. Banees that are controversial This is the rejection of Bhagat Banee, Dasam Granth, compositions by Bhai Gurdas and Bhai Nand Lal, historical accounts and other literature related to learning Gurmat. The main ones are highlighted in Figures 4 and 5. Summing Up The plan is indoctrination of the Sangat by re-education through Kathas, Lectures, presenting concepts using very academic thought which are not easy to understand and intimidates the listener, using reason, logic and critical thinking for understanding Gurbani to distort the teaching of Gurbani, special programs for the younger generation who can easily be influenced, special programs for the female gender to whip up gender specific sentiments to reprogram their thinking, various functions in Gurdwaras and elsewhere with exposure to their covertly planned distortion,, using Facebook,WhatsApp and other online sites to propagate the distorted ideology, producing distorted writings e.g. by Dr Chahal distorting Ek Oangkar, by Harjinder Dilgeer corrupting Nitnem Gutkas etc, covertly penetrating and taking control of organisation (e.g. MGC, KDM etc) and Gurdwaras through the committees and then forcing the organisation/gurdwara to implement their ideology e.g. committee members of a Gurdwara unilaterally preventing Akhand Path, singing Deh Siva etc, any means they can dream up to get the Sangat exposed to their thinking etc. All these are done ON THE PRETEXT of SHARING THE KNOWLEDGE on THE ONE AND ONLY SGGS JI. Bear in mind that they do not consider SGGS Ji as a LIVING GURU but as the ONE AND ONLY EK GRANTH, a GRANTH (BOOK) of KNOWLEDGE for spiritual learning (or on the lighter side maybe a set of exercises). This EK GRANTH they have in their vision (just like the SRM) is SGGS Ji STRIPPED of all what they do not want. They are using indoctrination methodology to achieve this. This is a very powerful technique of propagating information (be it right or wrong) to the listener. Some of the methods are listed in the dot points above (e.g. using academic concepts, using reason/logic). 8
Note that Karminder s WhatsApp message in Figure 3 has very strong elements of indoctrination e.g. Will I see this in my lifetime? Probably NOT. Do I want to die not doing anything about it? DEFINITELY NOT. This indoctrination that is going on presently and will continue to pollute and realign the mind of the Sangat so they start to adopt this new distorted version of Sikhi. Karminder has been using this buzzword UNLEARN AND RELEARN in his lectures. This is part of programming the Sangat s mind. They say what the Sangat knows is wrong. The Sangat have to UNLEARN what they know and RELEARN what is preached by them. This is an indoctrination methodology. Other buzz words that are distorted and used to achieve their evil aim are EK GRANTH, EK PANTH, EK MARYADA Guru Maneo Granth Eka Bani Ek Gur Eko Shabad Vichar and many others. Essentially they intend to completely rebrand Sikhi into the distorted version that is in their polluted mind. CONCLUSION OF PART 2A Karminder s message explicitly shows us the process by which the Kala Afghana Brigade wants to change the SRM and the SGGS Ji leading to a REBRANDED Sikhi. They are doing this on the PRETEXT of SHARING THE KNOWLEDGE on THE ONE AND ONLY SGGS JI. They do not consider SGGS Ji as a LIVING GURU but as the ONE AND ONLY EK GRANTH, a GRANTH (BOOK) of KNOWLEDGE for spiritual learning (or on the lighter side maybe a set of exercises). This EK GRANTH they have in their vision (just like the SRM) is SGGS Ji STRIPPED of all what they do not want. They are using indoctrination methodology to achieve this. This is a very powerful technique of propagating information (be it right or wrong) to the listener. Some of the methods are listed e.g. using academic concepts and using reason/logic. Karminder s WhatsApp message has very strong elements of indoctrination e.g. Will I see this in my lifetime? Probably NOT. Do I want to die not doing anything about it? DEFINITELY NOT. That s all for now. We will continue. Thank You for reading. ਵ ਹਗ ਰ ਜ ਕ ਖ ਲਸ ਵ ਹਗ ਰ ਜ ਕ ਫਤਹ 9
