3 We ve a message to give to the nations, that the Lord who reigneth above hath sent us his Son to save us, and show us that God is love, and show us that God is love. For the darkness shall turn to dawning, and the dawning to noonday bright; and Christ s great kingdom shall come on earth, the kingdom of love and light. We ve a story to tell to the nations, that shall turn their hearts to the right, a story of truth and mercy, a story of peace and light, a story of peace and light. We ve a Savior to show to the nations, who the path of sorrow hath trod, that all of the world s great peoples might come to the truth of God, might come to the truth of God. H. 4 Today, and in the coming months and years, we have the opportunity to join together and intentionally live out the prophetic structure for church mission that Jesus gave in Acts. This is a crucial moment in time for our church. God has given the leadership of Grace a vision that will carry us into the year 2020 and beyond. It will require each of us to take steps moving to deeper levels of faith, commitment, surrender, and devotion to God and to our mission of glorifying Him by making more and better disciples. God is not finished with Grace Fellowship. Our Jerusalem For the original followers of Jesus, Jerusalem was the city that many of them considered home. It was the place of their identity and culture. In our context, this would be the cities where we deposit the largest investments of time and ministry Latham, Halfmoon, East Greenbush, Our Judea and Samaria This is the area just outside of our Jerusalem. It represents the expansion of our mission and ministry into neighboring cultures and communities. To the ends of the world There are no boundaries to this frontier. Every country and people group is an opportunity. Our desire is to increase our impact with existing ministry partners around the world, and to leverage new partnerships as an opportunity to bring Jesus to countless others in darkness. and Saratoga VISION GRACE FELLOWSHIP 5

5 PROJECT PRIORITY 1 Our Jerusalem HALFMOON EXPANSION THE OPPORTUNITY When Grace Fellowship Halfmoon opened their doors for the first time in December of 2008, we knew that if the Lord blessed that campus the way we were expecting Him to, we would soon need more space for ministry. Right now, Kids Celebration (KC) and Student Ministries at Grace Halfmoon are hard pressed for space regularly meeting in the lobby, in staff offices, and other re-purposed spaces. By the numbers STORAGE THE VISION We want to provide our ministry leaders in Halfmoon with enough space to safely and comfortably facilitate ministry for every age group. God has done some amazing work in the lives of people in our Halfmoon congregation, and Existing Structure New Construction Total finished space 16,500 sq. ft. 8,000 sq. ft. 24,500 sq. ft. we want to be equipped to see even more souls saved and lives transformed. 6 PROJECT PRIORITY 2 Our Jerusalem By the numbers These upgrades will include almost 32,000 square feet of new flooring. LATHAM EXTERIOR NOW SANCTUARY REDESIGN/UPDATE LATHAM UPGRADES THE OPPORTUNITY That s like SIXTEEN 2,000 square-foot homes. HALLWAY FROM KC TO STUDENT CENTER Since moving into our 20 Delatour Road location in 2002, our Latham congregation has sacrificed and given to the launch of 3 new campuses. The buildings at Halfmoon, Greenbush, and Saratoga are well-equipped ministry tools that are both functional and stylish. Our Latham facility is overdue for an update in both of these important areas. PROPOSED LATHAM EXTERIOR STUDENT CENTER REDESIGN/UPDATE THE PLAN An extension of the Kids Celebration (KC) hallway connecting the Student Center to the main building, a redesign of the outdoor facade, and makeovers for the lobby, sanctuary, and Student Center will dramatically enhance the usefulness and LATHAM LOBBY NOW PROPOSED LATHAM LOBBY atmosphere of our Latham facility. THE VISION As our largest and longest standing location, Latham is host to more explorers than any other campus. The updates planned for 20 Delatour Road will create an environment that helps our Latham leaders and congregation leverage this ministry tool for maximum Kingdom potential. 7 PROJECT PRIORITY 3 Our Judea & Samaria A NEW CAMPUS IN SCHENECTADY COUNTY THE OPPORTUNITY We live in one of the greatest mission fields in the entire world. The Barna Group estimates that only around 9%** of the people in the Capital Region are genuine followers of Jesus. If you ve lived in this area for any length of time, even that 9% may seem very generous. There is so much Kingdom work to do right here in the Albany area. 995 attenders & visitors from Schenectady County 150+ attenders & visitors from other points west (Altamont, Guilderland, Amsterdam, etc.) THE PLAN With hundreds of Grace Fellowship attenders who call Schenectady County home, it s our church s desire to put a By the numbers Grace Fellowship campus in every place our congregation lives. Schenectady County is the place God has put on the hearts of our leadership for the next Grace location. THE VISION With a campus in their back yard, Grace members and attenders from Schenectady County will have a place to invite friends and neighbors who otherwise may not travel to other Grace locations. Our goal is to bring the light and life of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the tens of thousands of souls who are wandering in darkness in this nearby community. Of the 155,000 people who live in Schenectady County,* 130,000 have never accepted Jesus as their savior. 8 HUMANITARIAN AID To the ends of the world THE OPPORTUNITY There is intense suffering going on all across the world every day. Jesus charged His followers not only to preach the truth of the gospel, but also to show His compassion to a world full of people who are lost and broken. This brokenness is present in every circle of ministry: in our Jerusalem, in our Judea & Samaria, and out into the ends of the world. THE PLAN We will give 10% of each project cost for the entire 2020Vision campaign to directly help people in need. By the numbers 13,500,000 Displaced Syrians 1,200,000,000 People worldwide living on less than $1.25 per day 93,533 People in poverty in the Capital Region CARING FOR REFUGEES WITH WORLD VISION One-third will be spent here in our local communities through our Grace in Action ministry, one-third will be spent resourcing and equipping our global missions partners, and one-third will be spent helping World Vision provide aid to thousands of Syrian refugees. THE VISION We want the generosity of Jesus to shine through Grace Fellowship as we look to share the love of Christ with people both near and far. It s our prayer that this gesture of compassion will bear good fruit in each heart. Pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders as they continue to make plans and decisions for these projects. 3. Pray for Grace Fellowship to be united as we pursue the vision God has set before us over the course of the next three years. 4. Pray for safety for the construction crews as they work. 5. Pray for the hearts of people in Schenectady County to be prepared for the grace and truth of the gospel. 6. Pray for God to reveal and raise up leaders for the new campus in Schenectady County. 7. Pray for people in need right here in our own communities. 8. Pray for our global partners and the people they minister to. 9. Pray for the Syrian refugees. 10.
