In this kick-off session of Lifeline, international Catholic humorist and motivational speaker Michael Hoffman returns to activate the agents of the New Evangelization. John Ubel, rector of the Cathedral of St. Paul, celebrated our very first Lifeline Mass twenty years ago and will be here to ring in this great new season! For Catholic Teens Grades 8-12 Saturday, November 1st, 2014 Who Do You Say That I Am? with Fr. Michael Schmitz for Mass & Evening Program During his brief public ministry, we read from Scripture that Jesus did amazing things. He walked on water, cured the sick, and miraculously fed 4,000 people with very little food (Mt. 15:34). Jesus declared Himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Jn. 14:6), the Great I Am (Jn. 8:58), and even God Himself (Jn. 1:1). Yet despite all of this, most people did not believe in Jesus. They didn t understand who He was or why He came to earth. So He asked His disciples who they thought He was. Only one person had the right answer. What about you? How would you respond to Jesus question? Now more than ever, the Lord needs strong, heroic young men and women of faith who not only know the answer but experience and live the answer!
