1 100 Verses to Know from 1st & 2nd Corinthians (New King James Version) Number Verse Text 1 1 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 1 Corinthians 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus 4 1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 5 1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 6 1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 7 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 8 1 Corinthians 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 9 1 Corinthians 1:31 that, as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me Corinthians 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord s death till He comes Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually Corinthians 13:4-7 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 49 1 Corinthians 15:20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits Corinthians 15:55 O Death, where is your sting? Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens Corinthians 5:6-7 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

7 74 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died 76 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ s behalf, be reconciled to God Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him Corinthians 6:17 Therefore Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death Corinthians 8:7 But as you abound in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us see that you abound in this grace also.

8 83 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich Corinthians 9:6-7 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 87 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh Corinthians 10:17 But he who glories, let him glory in the Lord Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light Corinthians 11:25-28Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.

9 Corinthians 12:7-10 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed you are disqualified Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
