4 Page 4 Hawkins County Pregnancy HELP Center Update by Kelly Snodgrass It has been a great month at the Pregnancy HELP Center! We have had approximately 60 moms and children come through the center in the last month, with six new moms signing up in just the last week. Please pray for these ladies and their children. Also, please pray for me that I can be sensitive to the Spirit and share the gospel boldly. At the April Promise Class, held at Persia Baptist Church, Becky Little was our guest speaker. Becky was so gracious to come and share her testimony with the class. In addition to sharing her personal walk with the Lord, she taught the class some important life saving skills. She shared with the class the most recent requirements for CPR. Becky brought human mannequins with her and allowed the class to practice compressions and breathing skills. The next Promise Class will be held May 25th at Henard s Chapel Baptist Church. Also, we are planning a VBS at the Center the last week of June. If anyone would like to help with the VBS please call the Center at We can use several volunteers. Thank you so much for supporting the Pregnancy Help Center. Henard s Chapel Car Show a Success

PO Box , Franklin TN Please join us at Looneys Chapel on Saturday, June 17th at 5:00 pm, for a Benefit Singing to honor the memory and ministry of the late Robert Shanks. Robert Shanks was the pastor at Looneys Chapel from 1984 to 1988 and then came back to teach the adult Sunday School class for many years, even after retiring from the pastorate. Robert Shanks was a great help and encouragement to many in our Association. It is our privilege to help his widow and all donations will be given to Mary Shanks. Mary recently became aware of a serious structure problem with her home and has had extensive and expensive repairs to cover. It is our hope to be an encouragement and blessing to her as she has continued to be a faithful member at Looneys Chapel and has served there in many ways through the years. Everyone welcome and a love offering will be received. Thank you and we look forward to this time of celebration!
