Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and that same grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour when I first believed! Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already safely come; This grace hath brought me safe thus far, and surely grace will lead me home, I shall go home. All rights reserved. Reprinted under OneLicense.net #A SMALL GROUPS GATHERING WEDNESDAY We have received a steady stream of interest and suggestions for potential small groups throughout the summer and early fall. Some of the possibilities that have been shared include: A group focused on topical discussions of current events and issues such as school bullying, gun violence, etc A group for young adults with busy families focused on community service A group for recently widowed persons A group that plays board games together A group that would take turns hosting one another for fellowship meals in their homes A Bible study and reflection group Various age or gender specific groups To help get things kicked off, we will be having an organizational meeting this Wednesday evening (10/26) at 6:30 in the Seekers room. At that meeting we will help identify facilitators and hosts, make connections, and explore needed resources. If you have questions or ideas, or are wanting to join a small group but are not able to attend the meeting, please contact Pastor Chris. PUPPET PRACTICES RESUMING THIS WEEK! Experienced puppeteers will get together this Wednesday at 7:15 in the Agape Room to set up the stage, refresh their skills, and prep for the new year. New puppeteers can join in beginning the following Wednesday, November 2. Questions? Contact Pastor Chris or Ben Neher.
