The CPR/First Aid class that was cancelled in October has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 12 from 9:30 to noon in the CFC. Please contact the church office or Vince Freiburger. Rehearsals for What Child Is This?, the annual children s Christmas service start THIS SUNDAY, December 2nd at 9:30am during the Sunday school hour in the Youth Room in the Christian Faith Center. If you do not wish to receive offering envelopes, please let me know by December 20, These are an expense covered by the church and the less we have to purchase, the more money we can save. All disciples who have funds automatically withdrawn from their account, have been removed from the list to receive offering envelopes. Also, it s that time of year again when I need all committee reports for the Annual report that is handed out at the meeting on Sunday, January 20, I need all reports by December 20. There will be one church service, which will be the Christmas Program at 9:30am in the CFC. After the church service, we will provide a quick brunch/lunch and head out via carpool to deliver cookies and carol at some of the homes our elders. At 1:30pm, we will arrive at Bulverde Assisted Living, 1396 Bulverde Road in Bulverde to carol and deliver cookies. We should finish up around 2:00pm. We are asking for donations of 3-5 dozen cookies to be dropped off before the one church service on Dec. 16 or to the church office a few days before during regular office hours. The cookies will be used to put together care packages for some of our elders, shut-ins, first responders and retirement homes where some of our disciples reside.
