L Y our weight is a balancing act, and calories are part of that equation. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of grapefruit will make the pounds drop off. But when it comes to weight loss, it's calories that count. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Once you understand that equation, you're ready to set your weight-loss goals and make a plan for reaching them. Remember, you don't have to do it alone. Talk to your doctor, family and friends for support. Ask yourself if now is a good time and if you're ready to make some necessary changes. Also, plan smart: Anticipate how you'll handle situations that challenge your resolve and the inevitable minor setbacks. 7 Marching To Zion Project Week 4 Week 4 Walk By Faith Not By Sight Sometimes in order to get a walk in or an activity in, we have to step out on faith. It may seem like there isn t enough time that day, or that this March to Zion is futile. The smallest of excuses will keep us from participating. But we have to believe that we are going to make it and that we will get the results we are looking for. We are looking for lives to be changed, high blood pressure to be stabilized, Type II Diabetes to be controlled. We are looking for our relationship with God and our families to be enriched. We don t care what it looks like, we are walking by faith. This is a faith walk. If you are seeking change and know that God is able, then don t look at what it is, look at God and what it will be!!
