2 2 Introduction Have you ever seen something someone else had and you wanted it? The disciples were the same way. They noticed that Jesus had something different when He prayed. They asked Him, Lord, teach us to pray. These prayer guides will show you how to grow and connect with God through prayer. Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples. Luke 11:1 (NLT)

4 LORD S PRAYER In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. 6 Tabernacle Prayer Basics Learn Your Role as a Member of Jesus Royal Priesthood. Let Jesus Himself be Your Guide As These Sacred Truths of the Old Testament Tabernacle Are Revealed in Scripture and Transformed through Him! [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5 AMP Enter the Outer Court Spending time in The Lord s Temple daily is a very rewarding experience. What follows is an basic narrative of what transpires as you pray through the Temple with the Lord himself as your guide. He is the only one who can truly teach you the foundational elements of your faith. As He does, you will see your faith increase day by day. Because of the strong influence of the world, our flesh, and the devil on our minds, we approach the tabernacle from outside each day. First we see the eastern entrance to the Tabernacle s outer court. As Christians, it reminds us of the narrow gateway to heaven Jesus Christ. (Mat 7:14) We thank Him for that narrow gate access to God through Jesus! As we enter the outer court the first thing we see is the Brazen Altar and the terrible cost of sin. Here the Lord will deepen your understanding of the blood sacrifice for sins and how that sacrifice was completed through Jesus Christ. You will learn about the many benefits you receive through His shed blood. You will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the necessity of his suffering in the Courtyard of Pilate (your healing) and His crucifixion on the Cross on Calvary (your redemption from the sin-curse of Adam.) 6 As you meditate on the Scriptures and the many benefits of the blood of Christ you will not take your faith in Christ for granted any longer. As you declare His Word about those benefits out loud at the Brazen Altar you literally take possession of them for yourself. Your mind begins to be transformed in regard to your new, righteous identity in Christ.

7 Next, allow the Lord to wash away your confusion about the privilege of repentance and the freedom of a clear conscience at the Laver. The law no longer condemns a follower of Christ, it merely draws us to repentance, a clear conscience, and a contrite heart. These are keys to your faith and daily requirements for God s kingdom to increase in you. Were you aware that God gives grace only to a humble man or woman, but he always resists a proud person? The key at the Laver is meditating on the 10 Commandments, and how Jesus kept all of them perfectly on your behalf. Ask the Lord for insight into His commandments, review the Scriptures that discuss the commandments both by Moses and as Jesus taught about them in the New Testament, and receive his power and ability by grace to walk in his commandments. There is a purpose in your life for each lighted lamp on the golden candlestick lampstand. Each flame represents one aspect of the Holy Spirit or Seven Fold Spirit of God. Ask the Spirit of the Lord to bring illumination to your soul. The goal is to make your temple inhabitable for the Lord as He himself drives out the darkness in you with His wonderful light. This will take time. But that is why we visit the Lord s temple daily. This is another great privilege you have as a believer in Jesus Christ, intimate fellowship with Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Jesus told us He was going to be with the Father so that the Holy Spirit would come and fill you with power and light for life! Oh the deep mysteries of the Word of God. Who can understand the Word? Only the one to whom it is revealed by the Lord. That is why He invites us to eat with Him at the Table of Showbread, where He feeds us the bread of His presence, the Word of God. The book and its ink on paper comes alive to you as the Lord allows you to eat from Jesus Word, the bread of life! Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. At the Table of Shewbread you will get your daily bread. You will ingest insights and wisdom from the Word, prepared fresh for your nourishment today as the Holy Spirit illuminates and applies it to your life in a fresh way! Now clear your throat because your next stop is the Altar of Incense. Here, the Spirit of God helps you speak out and declare praises to the one who saves us. Join with the voices of Angels and all those around the throne of God today who ve worshipped Jesus and run this race before us. Declare the praises of God with tongues of men and of angels. Let your voice be heard in the magnificent throne room of heaven! And now for the greatest experience of all, come through that thick curtain of separation that once separated us from God s presence, and walk boldly into the Holy of Holies. Remember when Christ died, God did not do away 7

8 with the Jewish Temple. He did not even rearrange the furniture in the Temple. He just tore the veil separating the priest from the Most Holy Place. He gave believers in Christ open access to the Holy of Holies where he sits on His throne, the Mercy Seat! And now, we can come boldly to his throne of grace and mercy to find help for every need that we have! You have made the sacrifice of visiting each place in the Lord s Temple. So now you have arrived in the Most Holy Place. Here Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father. Here the Father dwells in all His Shekinah Glory. Who can speak of such mysteries? Let the Lord whisper to you about them as He did with John in the Book of Revelation. Here you worship the Father and His provision of daily bread (manna) for your every need, true spiritual power and authority, and His unchangeable standards of mercy and grace. All fulfilled by Jesus Christ, his one and only son, and firstborn from the dead. Truly His mercies are new every morning! A New and Living Way YOU are Now God s Temple! Just like Old Testament priests ministered to the Lord daily according to the Tabernacle pattern God gave to Moses, we as New Testament Priests, have the privilege of ministering to the Lord through Jesus Christ daily! The Bible says through Jesus, we have been made into a kingdom of priests to serve and bless our God! One rich and powerful way to perform our priestly function is when we pray according to the Tabernacle pattern. We know that the Tabernacle is a type and pattern of the true Temple in Heaven and so is Jesus Christ. The temple pattern is an ordained pattern of worship that has even more tremendous meaning and beauty for us today because of Jesus! When you choose to exercise your priestly privileges in His temple, your body, then letter by letter, the Lord Himself will write His laws on your heart and mind. This is the process of sanctification. It is how we begin living out of real intimacy with God, and our true identity as the righteousness of Christ! This transformation of your mind only happens fully as you spend time with your Heavenly Father each day. There is no other way to fully experience the abundant life in Christ. There is no other way to receive the grace and love necessary for you to follow His commandments, to love God and to love others as Christ has loved you! May this model of prayer be one that leads you to that kind of precious, powerful time with your God! 8

9 PRAYING THE TEMPLE MODEL THROUGH CHRIST Station 1 & 2. THE GATE & THE BRAZEN ALTAR In my heart and mind I come to the temple of the Holy Spirit. I enter through Jesus Christ, who is the narrow gate of access to the living God. I see the Brazen Altar. I remember all the different types of offerings & sacrifices that were repeatedly presented at the Brazen Altar: sin, trespass, burnt, thanks, and reconciliation sacrifices. Much blood was shed on the brazen altar. The Bible reminds me that there can be no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of innocent blood. But all these temporary sacrifices foretold of the ultimate and final sacrifice of Jesus Christ at Calvary. I recognize the tremendous cost of sin! CONFIDENCE! I believe and accept that the Cross of Jesus Christ replaces the Brazen Altar for me today. The blood of Jesus Christ replaces the blood of animals for me one sacrifice for all time through Jesus Christ. My sin is forgiven I am declared righteous through the Cross. No guilt and shame for me today; I have a clean slate! I will enjoy the Glory of God today. The Shekinah Glory is in me. Lord, through your shed blood you conquered the world and the devil. Give me sanctification and fullness of the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus. Any hold that the world or the devil has on me is canceled and broken right now in Jesus s name! Because of the blood, I am free! You hung on the cross and took my infirmities I am healed. By the stripes you endured in the courtyard of Pilate, you have provided a way for me to be healed spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Thank you Jesus that you still heal today and that you are greater than any sin or physical challenge that may come to me. Even death cannot kill me ultimately, therefore, I will fear nothing because you are with me and you are my resurrection power! 9

10 Through the Cross through your blood I am redeemed from the curse. You hung on a tree so the Abrahamic blessing would be mine. I am a blessed person! I am no longer under the curse. I am under the blessing of Christ today in my home, work, ministry and family. You became poor for me so that I can have true riches in Jesus Christ. In Christ I am redeemed completely from any negative thinking. No cloudy thinking for me today only clarity on my freedom from the curse and freedom from living spiritually and physically impoverished. In Christ, I have everything I need and a great inheritance! I am redeemed from death and hell. Through His death on the cross, resurrection and ascension, I am spiritually alive and seated with Jesus according to Scripture. I see His redeeming grace flow to me now. Lord, Clarify my vision of myself as an adopted son of God, a member of your family of priests. Make me aware of my new identity a new person in you, a new creation through the blood of Jesus Christ. I have no more identity crisis. I have a clear identity in Jesus Christ! I will not sign for the devil s packages today. My mind is no longer victimized by the devil s lies. I am a NEW CREATURE, a NEW CREATION. I AM HOLY, I am SANCTIFIED, I am BLESSED; the GLORY OF GOD IS MINE! Everyday that I renew my mind, I confirm and affirm my new identity and my inheritance of blessing and wholeness! All this happens through the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ. I worship Jesus at the Brazen Altar in the Courtyard of the Tabernacle. Station 3. THE LAVER Lord, I Invite You, Expose Sin In Me. You are the living water who washes me clean. Here, we clean our consciences every day like taking a bath or shower. The priests wash their hands, feet and face at the Laver. It is a looking glass. Before I go into the Holy Place, I look at myself in the Laver what is wrong in my heart. I reflect on the 10 commandments, not as a legalistic requirement. I reflect on them as a mirror to show me where I need to receive God s grace and forgiveness, and where my heart needs to change. I desire a clear conscience Lord. I know that you desire to wash me with the water of your word and to cleanse me from a guilty conscience by applying the forgiveness of Jesus that is already granted to me to my mind and heart in any area where I have failed to follow you fully. Commandment 1 Do I worship any other Gods? Do I put myself (self worship) ahead of (worship of Jesus)? There is only one God, in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Forgive me, Lord, for dishonoring you by entertaining other gods even those of my own making whether pleasure, acclaim, wealth, lust, or any other thing that is unworthy of my focus and devotion. Forgive me for pursuing my own little kingdom instead of worshiping you and seeking your plans and purposes for my life. 10 Commandment 2 Do I bow to any idols? Have I placed my role as husband, father, wife, mother or career person ahead of my role as a priest unto the Lord? Am I giving the first-fruits of my day to something else? Am I worshiping graven images of money, possessions or power? Forgive me for dishonoring you by worshipping idols whether in the image of people or material things. Nothing comes before you God, and you alone are my life s focus.

11 Commandment 3 Do I call God s name in vain any of God s names? Forgive me for dishonoring you by taking any of your names in vain, whether through cursing, or by using your name without faith or belief. Jesus, your name is holy and powerful. Help me to honor it and use it as a powerful weapon against the enemy and unbelief. Commandment 4 Do I honor God by keeping the Sabbath Holy? Am I giving the first-fruits of my week and my money (tithes & offerings) and keeping the Sabbath before expecting blessing from Lord? Forgive me for dishonoring your Sabbath commandment. Teach me your ways! I want to offer you the first of my week and each day. I want to return to you the first-fruits of my time, talent and treasure as an act of worship and love for you! Commandment 5 - Do I honor my parents or blame my parents for my problems? Do I dishonor those you put in authority over me pastors, government leaders, school board, etc.? Do I gossip about them? Do I resent them or hold unforgiveness toward them for their past mistakes, whether they are living or dead? Forgive us, Father, for the negative influence of our culture that disrespects our parents and dishonors You. May I be free from that influence. Forgive me for dishonoring my parents and anyone you have placed in authority over me. Help me to honor you as I respect them and seek to pray for their success and wisdom as they lead, govern, teach or parent. Commandment 6 - Do I kill by hating? In what ways am I programming my mind or the minds of my children to hate or be angry or hold prejudice against anyone? Jesus, you said that to hate someone is the same as having murdered them in my heart and mind. I forgive others right now. I release all offenses. I repent of any angry words spoken. Forgive me for dishonoring you through angry words and hatred. O Lord, deliver me from an angry, bitter heart. Only you can do this. I have failed in controlling anger that rises up in me. Only you can give me the grace to have victory over this and to speak words that bring life, not death, to those who hear them. Commandment 7 - Do I commit adultery or entertain lustful thoughts? Forgive me for dishonoring you by being sexually impure in my thoughts and actions. Cleanse me and make me holy! Give me the fear of the Lord. Help me to walk softly before you. Deliver me from the idolatry of the human body. Deliver me from unhealthy appetites and lust. Help me to surrender my inclinations and temptations to you, trusting that you are able to make a way of escape if I am willing to take it. Rather than fighting against the temptation, I choose to surrender it to you and let you have it as I receive your grace and power to choose to walk away from sin. Commandment 8 - Am I stealing -- from You, Lord, or anyone? Am I squandering or misusing Your gifts to me? Am I dishonest in my work, taking anything without paying for it or without permission? Forgive me for poor stewardship, for stealing or squandering time, talents, or treasures from you, Lord. Forgive me for my dishonest gains and give me grace to return or restore what I have taken wrongly. Make me a good steward of your temple, my body, and all these things You ve given me to manage as a priest in your temple. 11

12 Commandment 9 - Am I witnessing falsely? Forgive me for lying. Forgive me for being a false witness of Jesus. Forgive me for believing false ideas and vain philosophies. I want to be a true witness of Jesus Christ. Forgive me for dishonoring You by trusting false things. And forgive me if I have spoken falsely or slandered someone else. Forgive me for gossip and any half-truths I may have spread. Help me to speak truth and only what brings life to those who hear it. Give me the way, the truth, and the life in Jesus Christ! Commandment 10 Am I coveting? Am I coveting things you don t want me to have my neighbor s house, car, reputation, spouse, children, lifestyle? Covetousness is the first sin the downfall of Eve and Adam that caused their disobedience. Am I coveting anything? My American lifestyle? All blessings are from the Lord. I am grateful for my (spouse), my home, my career, my children. Forgive me for dishonoring you by wanting anything outside of your will for me. God, you are a good God an abundant God. You have a desire to bless me more than I do! I release my time, I release my money so you can make open space in my life. I want to receive your abundance and blessing! Your will be done. Make open spaces in my life. All this happens through the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ. I worship Jesus at the Laver in the Courtyard of the Tabernacle. Station 4. THE INNER COURT/HOLY PLACE Candlesticks Moving from the outer court, the priest would pass through a curtain and walk into the Holy Place. There we find the candlesticks, symbolic of the Holy Spirit, the sevenfold Spirit of God: wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, holiness. Holy Spirit, I welcome a deeper more intimate relationship with you today. 12 Dear Holy Spirit, through your anointing give me your wisdom. Help me to solve all the problems I face through your wisdom. Give me your understanding so that I may understand the deep truths of God, and I may live those truths and pass them on to my children. Give me counsel so that I will follow your narrow path. If it pleases you, allow me to advise others how to solve their problems. Give me tremendous might so that I might be used by you to overcome sin, heal the sick and break strongholds of the enemy in my life and other s lives. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Holy Spirit, increase my knowledge of the Bible and of you as I seek you and learn from your truths for life. Give me a keen, healthy fear of the Lord so that I walk very softly and respectfully before you and not commit any sin. Give me your holiness though your presence, O Lord! I receive it as a gift because you have already made me righteous through Christ. Help me now to walk in that holiness, being true to my inner identity through my outward actions.

13 Holy Spirit you are a person, with a will, and emotions. Forgive me for treating you impersonally. You should be welcomed, loved, adored, worshipped. I depend upon you. Thank you for your anointing. Let s work together. I will follow your leading and prompting today. Station 5. THE TABLE OF SHOWBREAD The Showbread is the symbol of the Word of God. Thank you for the written word and the inspired Word made alive in my heart today for a specific application. Apply your written word in a fresh, practical way to my life today. Give me this day my daily bread. Peter never walked on water by reading about the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. He requested Jesus to command him to walk on the water. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So I must wait on you, Lord, today if I want to hear and receive your inspired Word. Jesus, you spoke of this truth when you said: Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the MOUTH of God. (Mat 4:4) You are the bread of life and I eat at your table today. Speak to me today Holy Spirit. Station 6. THE ALTAR OF INCENSE Father, you are omnipotent. You can do anything and I will believe you. Give me perfect faith in Jesus Christ. I choose to believe YOU! I reject fear and doubt. I will never choose either of them. I trust you. I trust your Word. I trust you, Holy Spirit. You are always with me, you will never leave me or forsake me. John 14:20 says you are in me! That s where you live. Make yourself very real to me today! (The Altar of Incense is a place where worship rises up to God like a sweet aroma of perfume. Take several minutes and simply praise God by singing in the Spirit or praying as the Lord would lead you.) John 14:20-21 At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you. The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] Station 7 & 8. THE TORN VEIL & THE HOLY OF HOLIES ARK OF THE COVENANT I enter into the most intimate place with God through the torn body of Jesus Christ. He is the veil that was torn to give me complete access to my heavenly Father. Now, I enter with faith and confidence into the Holy of Holies. I see the blood of Jesus Christ sprinkled on the Mercy seat. It is finished. All my debts have been paid off paid in full. I am a free man, free from bondage to sin of any kind! Through the blood of Jesus, I have received and become God s righteousness in Christ. I come into the presence of God without feeling any condemnation because of what Christ has already accomplished for me. The blood of Jesus is the answer it is the final solution for me. I praise you, Father, for the wonderful, incredible blessing of righteousness imparted to me, your servant, through your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, that the devil is my defeated enemy through the Blood of Christ. I will not bow to the fear of the roaring lion. He is bluffing and he is defeated. I can now boldly come into your presence to find help and mercy whenever I am in need. 13

14 The 10 Commandments in the Ark Christ s blood annuls the power of the law that would make me work for righteousness. The law is my mirror now, not my master. It helps me to clean my face, my conscience. The law does not condemn me. It has been fulfilled perfectly in Christ and no longer holds judgment or punishment for me. The law shows me how to please God and helps me understand when I have grieved and disobeyed God but it is not my condemner. The blood has changed that forever for me as a New Testament Christian! No human works or achievements are required for my salvation. Only to believe only faith in the finished work of the Cross! Thank you, Father, that Jesus has made me righteous. His blood is my freedom from the law of the Old Testament. The blood is my freedom from human works to achieve right standing with you, O Lord! I praise you for Jesus, my salvation! What an indescribable gift! Eph 2:8-9 For it is by free grace [God s unmerited favor] that you are saved through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God; it is not because of works [the fulfillment of the Law s demands], lest any man should boast. Ripple Prayer In the Holy of Holies, I pray my own personal requests. I might pray for those closest to me and work out from there like a stone making a ripple on the water. Now I am truly ready to have my prayers answered and my petitions heard. I bring them humbly before the Lord with faith and confidence that he hears me and will answer my prayers according to his wisdom, timing and perfect will. Conclude: I close my time in prayer by returning to praise and worship, giving thanks in advance for how God will work in response to my prayers. I praise him for his Holy Spirit in me and thank him that he goes with me and in me. He will never leave or forsake me. Worship the Lord and tell him how much you love him and appreciate his presence in your life today. 14

15 ARMOR OF GOD BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord s people. Ephesians 6:

16 THE ARMOR OF GOD PRAYERS The Helmet of Salvation Thank you, Lord, for my salvation through Jesus Christ. I receive it in a new and fresh way from you and I declare that nothing can separate me now from the love of Christ and the place I will have in your kingdom. I receive your salvation by grace and through simple faith in Jesus who has provided it, not by any works that I have done to earn it or keep it. I rest in the promise that you have saved me by your grace, and that you will be faithful to complete what you have begun in me and you are always faithful to your promises to me even when I am sometimes faithless! This is my helmet of Salvation that guards my mind in Christ Jesus! The Belt of Truth Lord, I put on the belt of truth. I choose a lifestyle of honesty and integrity. Expose the lies I have believed, and show me the truths I need today in your Word! Your Word is truth and light and is fully trustworthy to guide me into the paths of life! Help me to love and cherish your Word and hide it in my heart that I might not sin against you, and so I will have success and the abundant life you long for me to have! The Shield of Faith I believe that you are powerful against every lie and assault of the enemy. You have good in store for me. Nothing is coming today that can overcome me because you are with me. I will take captive every negative, toxic or hopeless thought the enemy might throw at me. And I will pull down any belief or lie that would seek to raise itself against the truth of Your Word! 16 The Breastplate of Righteousness And yes, Lord, I wear your righteousness today against all condemnation and corruption. Clothe me with your holiness and purity defend me from all assaults against my heart and from every accusation the enemy hurls at me. I confess that I have been given the righteousness of Christ, and he has taken all of my sin, shame and stains.

17 The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace I have peace with you because of your grace and the gospel. I choose to live for the Gospel in every moment. Show me where you are working and lead me to it. Give me strength to walk daily with You and bring this peace of the gospel to others as you lead me. The Sword of the Spirit (The Word of God) Holy Spirit, show me the truths of the Word of God that I will need to counter the traps of the enemy. Bring those Scriptures to mind today, and give me boldness to speak them out whenever Satan attacks ME. Finally, Holy Spirit, I agree to walk in step with you in everything as my spirit communes with you in prayer throughout the day. 17

18 WEAPONS OF WARFARE The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 THE NAME There is authority in the name of Jesus. [They] returned with joy and said, Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name. Luke 10:17 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 PRAYERS: Father, Your Word says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Therefore I declare that no weapon formed against me prospers this day or any day to come in Jesus name. Your word says that trouble will not arise a second time (Nahum 1:9). Therefore I declare that Satan cannot make trouble for me again, in this manner, as he did in the past in Jesus name. I believe all these prayers are accomplished and brought to pass by trusting you through faith and expectation in the name of Jesus. THE BLOOD The shed blood of Jesus is the ultimate defeat of the enemy. 18 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11

19 PRAYERS: Lord Jesus, I confess to you all of my sins this day, yesterday and every day past. I repent and renounce them, those known and unknown, those of omission and commission, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do. I lay down at Your feet all of the sins of the flesh, the tongue, and of the heart, and all unholy thoughts and actions. Thank You, Lord, for shedding Your precious blood for me. This day and each and every day I ask for protection over my spouse; each of my children; acquaintances; and lastly for myself. I also ask today for protection during all of our travels; for our provision, finances, possessions, health, safety, and welfare. I put all of these things under the covering of Your precious blood and declare that Satan cannot touch them, on this day or any day to come. THE WORD There is power in the Word of God. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 PRAYERS: I stand on Your Word. The enemy is driven out from before me, above me, around me, and below me; from my home, workplace, church and its ministries, children, and loved ones; from my works and labors, land, and my presence. I declare that he is not able to stand against me, and his works are taken captive and destroyed. No Weapon formed against me will prosper, for the Spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard against them, I declare all of these things accomplished by Your Word. Jesus, my Lord, I give You thanksgiving, praise, glory, honor and worship for Your righteousness and holiness given to me by Your Word on my behalf. 19

20 WARFARE PRAYERS Protection Prayer (2 Cor 6:14-7:1, 10:3-5; Rom 12:1,2) Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before You. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to you. I take a stand against all the workings of Satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any involvement of Satan in my prayer. Satan, the Lord Jesus rebukes you. Leave my presence with all your demons. I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. I resist all the endeavors of Satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of God. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. I pull down every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ and loose into myself a sound mind, the mind of Christ. General Confession Prayer (Rom 10:10, James 5:16, I John 1:7-9, 3:8) Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God. You are the Messiah come in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil. You died on the cross for my sins and rose again the third day from the dead. I now confess all my sins and repent. I ask you to forgive me and cleanse me now from all sin. Thank you for redeeming me, cleansing me, justifying me and sanctifying me in your blood. Forgiveness Prayer (Matt 6:14, 15, Lev 19:18) 20 Lord, I have a confession to make. I have not loved, but have resented certain people and have unforgiveness in my heart. I call upon you, Lord, to help me forgive them. I do now forgive (name them). I ask you to forgive them also, Lord. I do now also forgive and accept MYSELF in the name of Jesus Christ.

21 Pride Prayer (Prov 11:2, 16:18. 26:12, I Tim 3:6) Father, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I know pride is an abomination to you. I renounce anything that would cause me to have pride in my heart in dealing with other people. I renounce these and turn away from them. I humble myself before you and come to you as a little child. (Study Prov 6: Also, remember that fasting is a means by which a person humbles himself before the Lord). Generational Bondage Prayer (Ex 20:4-6, 34:7, Num 14:18) In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I willfully renounce and break any bondages or generational sins that may have been handed down to me through practice or through victimization in my family line. I thank you, Lord, that in Jesus Christ, every curse of sin is broken and you have given me authority through you to break any patterns of previous generational sin that may exist in my family. Thank you Jesus that you have broken every curse, and that I am now free to choose to live in freedom and to follow your ways and your Word. Thank you that you will turn everything the enemy meant for evil into good for your purposes! I declare, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! 21

I belong to God. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 I am a member of Christ s body. 1 Corinthians 12:27 I have been adopted as God s child. Ephesians 1:5 I have direct access to God through the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:18 I have been forgiven of all my sins. Colossians 1:14 I am complete in Christ. Colossians 2:10 I AM IMPORTANT I am the salt and light of the earth. Matthew 5:13-14 I am a branch of the true Vine, a channel of His life. John 15:1, 5 I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit. John 15:16 I am a personal witness of Christ. Acts 1:8 1 I am God s temple. Corinthians 3:16 I am God s workmanship. Ephesians 2:10 I may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:12 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 22 I AM SAFE I am free forever from condemnation. Romans 8:1-2 I am assured that all things work together for good. Romans 8:28 I am free from any condemning charges against me. Romans 8:31-34 I cannot be separated from the love of God. Romans 8:35-39 I am confident that the good work that God has begun in me will be completed. Philippians 1:6 I am a citizen of Heaven. Philippians 3:20 I have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of self- control. 2 Timothy 1:7 I can find grace and mercy to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me. 1 John 5:18
