1 Potential Rushee, Delta Alpha Chi Recruitment: Fall 2016 On behalf of Delta Alpha Chi Christian Sorority, I would like to welcome you to Spring 2017 Recruitment. I cannot begin to express how excited I am to meet each of you! This packet contains your recruitment application. The deadline to turn in your completed application is Thursday, January 19th, 2016 at Testimony Night 1. There are a few items we ask you to include with your recruitment application. We would like to have a picture of you so that we can learn each of your names quickly. Please include a copy of your resumé. Most of the information in your resumé will already be on your recruitment application, but we would still like to have a copy. Please include any additional information you want us to know about you in your resumé. Please include a $35 recruitment fee with your application. This will help us cover the cost of the events you will be participating in throughout our rush process. Please print the My Profile page from your Secure Applications page on Blackboard and turn in a copy. The final item of your recruitment application is a letter of recommendation. This letter may be from someone that understands your character and faith such as a teacher, professor, youth pastor, preacher, coach, etc. If you have questions about any of these items, please contact us. Please include your name on all additional items. There is a no denim policy throughout rush week and the events included. Other than that, dressy casual attire is advised (skirts, sundresses, dress pants), but please be yourself. The final rush event, Preferential Night, is by invitation only. Should you receive an invitation to Preferential Night, we ask that you wear a black dress. Don t forget your smile! We will be having our first Recruitment event on January 17th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. so that we can answer any questions about the rest of Recruitment week, and enjoy a night of getting to know each other! 2 Throughout the recruitment process, we ask that you immerse yourself in prayer. Pray that God will guide you in your decisions over the next few weeks and prepare your heart for the times to come.
