We want to make our news and information easy for everyone to read and share. We need you help in getting the information out. Help us share & spread the news that happening around us. Words from Dougald As I pen these words, at least key leaders from TRBA churches are in attendance at a LEADING CHANGE Conference; this weekend HOPEFULLY more than the 25+ already registered will attend the CHANGE YOUR CHURCH OF DIE conference at Pearce; and then Saturday, March 26th we have rescheduled THE SECRET OF TEAMS at Castalia. Seems like a lot of emphasis on Church revitalization doesn t it? My burden-the church of North America is in decline (not plateaued). God is bringing people from the nations to our neighborhoods? What is your church s strategy to reach the nations? Could it be that we can reach the world for Christ by being faithful in proclaiming the Gospel to our neighbors? Over the next couple of months, I will be sharing numerous invitations to (1) join me in prayer about God s command to make disciples, and (2) join me in becoming more aware/better equipped/personally engaged in the mission of the church. There s an old song I used to sing a lot entitled Do You Really Care? Second verse, I see people just longing to know -What they can live for and where they can go We have the hope and the purpose to share -BUT -Do we REALLY care? I am convinced THE church really cares and are just as burdened as I that the perceived church is in decline in our country. My prayer we will commit anew to BEING the church to the communities where God has placed us! Praying God raises up DRY BONES!!

11 The 66th Annual National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 4, 2017 As citizens and residents of the United States and as believers in Christ Jesus, we not only have a spiritual responsibility according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray, but a civic duty as well to heed our President s call to stand in the gap for our nation. Who but God s people have the ability to enter into the very throne room of Heaven with prayers and petitions! Our theme this year is For Your Great Name s Sake! Hear Us... Forgive Us...Heal Us! Taken from Daniel 9:19, which says, O Lord, Listen! O Lord, Forgive! O Lord, Hear and Act! For Your Sake, O My God.... As the 2017 National Day of Prayer on May 4th approaches, thousands of individuals, churches, and communities will be working to rally millions of Christian s to once again heed this call! Scripture tells us again and again that our fervent prayer is effective. That our loving God responds to His children s earnest pleas in mighty ways that avail much, and ultimately determine the course of history. At this crucial time for our nation, we can do nothing more important than pray. Thank you in advance for making this spiritual discipline a personal priority and for standing with us as we encourage others to incorporate prayer in their lives. The Lord has graciously anointed our efforts, empowering them to touch and change many hearts and lives. We look forward to seeing His hand move across our land in exciting ways each May in response to our petitions! In closing, we ask that you prayerfully consider becoming a volunteer in your church or community to lead a National Day of Prayer gathering. May the Lord s peace fill your heart as you rest in Him throughout the days ahead.
