2 What is Halloween? So what is Halloween anyway? Let s take a look in Wikipedia and find out: Halloween or Hallowe'en (a contraction of All Hallows' Evening), also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve or All Saints' Eve is a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day and the Reformation Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from Celtic harvest festivals with pagan roots, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain, and that this festival was much later Christianized as Halloween. Some academics, however, support the view that Halloween began independently as a solely Christian holiday. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related guising), attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows' Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration. Some Christians historically abstained from meat on All Hallows' Eve,[ a tradition reflected in the eating of certain foods on this vigil day, including apples, potato pancakes, and soul cakes. I have highlighted some of the more interesting things that are done on Halloween, as Wikipedia has stated that Halloween is a Christian holiday. Really? Let s see what the bible says about some of these activities. 1

3 Divination Some of the Halloween activities mentioned include divination. Let s first define what it is, and then let s see what the Bible has to say about it. Divination is defined as: 1. the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means. 2. augury; prophecy: The divination of the high priest was fulfilled. 3. perception by intuition; instinctive foresight. So let s agree that divination is the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means. The Bible defines divination as: 1. divination, witchcraft 2. of the nations, Balaam 3. of false prophets So let s agree that the Bible definition of divination is witchcraft. 2

4 Uh oh, Christian, we have just started this study, and I see a serious problem. So, what does the Bible say about divination? Deuteronomy 18:10 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. Looks to me like divination is an abomination to the Lord, and because of those abominations, the Lord will drive you away from Him. Not good, Christian. And what about this? 1 Samuel 15:23 - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. Divination is the sin of witchcraft, and all those who practice witchcraft will be rejected by the Lord Himself. This is what the Bible says, Christian. 2 Kings 17:17 - And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. Using divination will be doing evil in the Lord s sight, and it will provoke Him to anger. Christian, we have not even scratched the surface of this and you can see that this is a direct anathema to the Lord of Hosts and the Gospels. So, to sum this up, anyone who practices divination practices witchcraft, which is an abomination to the Lord, and because of those abominations, the Lord will drive you away from Him; using divination will be doing evil in the Lord s sight, and it will provoke Him to anger. Have you seen the penalties for abominations, Christian? Let s find out: Deuteronomy 7:26 - Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. Did you get that, Christian? You will be cursed like the abomination you bring into your house. This is pretty serious, Christian, and that is the scratching the surface! Now, some people may accuse me of cherry-picking scripture to castigate Halloween, and they would be correct I specifically chose the scripture that started with divination, and I followed where the scripture led me. If that does not give you pause, Christian, nothing will. 3

5 Necromancy Wikipedia tells us that: Halloween, In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows' Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration. Lighting candles for the dead is also known as necromancy. Let s take a look at necromancy, which is defined as: 1. a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art. 2. magic in general, especially that practiced by a witch or sorcerer; sorcery; witchcraft; conjuration. There is the magic and divination connection again. Let s see what the Bible has to say about necromancy, as necromancy is defined as: 1. (Qal) 1. to resort to, frequent (a place), (tread a place) 2. to consult, enquire of, seek 1. of God 2. of heathen gods, necromancers 3. to seek deity in prayer and worship 1. God 4

6 2. heathen deities 4. to seek (with a demand), demand, require 5. to investigate, enquire 6. to ask for, require, demand 7. to practice, study, follow, seek with application 8. to seek with care, care for We can agree that necromancy is the seeking, consulting and enquiring of God or heathen gods. What does the Lord have to say about that? Deuteronomy 12: Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. Need more proof? Here is a scripture that talks about how Saul, the King of Israel before David, sought out the prophet Samuel by using the witch of Endor to conjure him up, which the Lord was very upset about. Here is the scripture: 1 Chronicles 10:13 - So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And why did the Lord get angry with Saul? It was because of this commandment: Leviticus 19:31 - Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. The Lord of Hosts has specifically told us that we are NOT to consult familiar spirits and NOT to be involved with divination. He is telling us that all of this is an abomination and that we are to stay clear of these things as this will bring a curse upon you if you bring it into your house. Are you confused, Christian? Are you not listening to what the Lord is telling us? 5

7 How did Halloween become a Christian Holiday? If you are a Christian, you are to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and OBEY His commands to you. Many so-called Christians following Halloween traditions and they are ignorant of the commission that the Lord Jesus Christ has given those who follow Him. If you are a true Christian, you KNOW that you are to forsake all others and follow Jesus ALONE. So how is it that many so-called Christians are celebrating Halloween? I submit to you that those who follow this tradition are NOT Christians at all, but they are playing church. THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWERS OF JESUS, even if they think they are. I ll say it again: If you follow or celebrate Halloween, you are NOT a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and you are slated for hell and you don t even know it, even if you process to be a Christian. 6

8 If you love your Lord and Saviour with all of you heart and soul, then why on earth are you celebrating the dead? Why in the world are you desecrating yourself with witchcraft? Why are you putting curses on yourself, as we saw in scripture, when the Lord has expressly told you to stay away from all appearances of evil, as we can see in scripture here: Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. What does reprove mean? Let s find out: verb (used with object), re proved, re prov ing. 1. to criticize or correct, especially gently: to reprove a pupil for making a mistake. 2. to disapprove of strongly; censure: to reprove a bad decision. 3. Obsolete. to disprove or refute. Does this look like Christians are reproving or correcting ANY of this? And what about this scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:22 - Abstain from all appearance of evil. Does it look to you like Christians are abstaining from all appearance of evil if they celebrate this holiday? 1 Corinthians 10:5 - But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. This scripture is talking about the Hebrews from Egypt, and as you can see, the lusted after evil things and then decided they wanted to have fun. Can you see the correlation here? By celebrating Halloween, you are lusting after evil, and by thinking it is just harmless fun, you will fall into the same trap the Hebrews did. Notice that the Lord of Hosts was NOT PLEASED with them? Do you think that Jesus would be pleased with YOU if you celebrate what He HATES? Oh, this is just harmless fun, some of you say. Let the children play and have some fun. You are going too far with this Jesus thing. 7

9 While you are cavalier in your thinking, this is serious business down here, Christian, and people are going to hell for not understanding what the devil is doing to them, as he is causing many Christians to turn away from the Lord Jesus Christ and follow him as they have fun. Well, Christian, by celebrating the devil as fun, you are going to laugh your way into hell. Can t you see that having fun is the devil s means of sending you to hell with him? Can t you see that you have turned away from the Lord Jesus Christ by partaking in the rituals and ceremonies of Halloween? Here is even more scripture, where the Lord tells Christians to NOT celebrate this holiday, as you can see here: 1 Corinthians 10: But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? In this scripture, the Lord is telling you straight out that you should NOT partake at the table of devils. Don t you think that celebrating Halloween does just that? Are you trying to make the Lord angry with you by foolishly doing this? O foolish Christians, who has bewitched you? 8

10 Halloween Traditions Halloween is a tradition, you say. Why not enjoy the tradition and not make so much fuss about it? It is fun!!. Ignorance is something, isn t it? Don t you know that the Lord HATES traditions, ceremonies and rituals?? Let s first find out what the word tradition means: noun 1. the handing down from generation to generation of the same customs, beliefs, Especially by word of mouth 2. the body of customs, thought, practices, etc, belonging to particular country, people, family, or institution over a relatively long period 3. a specific custom or practice of long standing 4. a doctrine or body of doctrines regarded as having been established by Christ or the apostles though not contained in Scripture 5. a body of laws regarded as having been handed down from Moses orally and only committed to writing in the 2nd century AD 6. the beliefs and customs of Islam supplementing the Koran, esp as embodied in the Sunna 7. the act of formally transferring ownership of movable property; delivery 9

11 Let s further refine our definition: Traditions are the handing down from generation to generation a doctrine or a body of doctrines regarded as having been established by Christ or the apostles though not contained in Scripture, including the body of customs, beliefs, thought, and practices belonging to a particular country, people, family or institution over a relatively long period of time. Notice in our definition that we see the following phrase: the handing down from generation to generation a doctrine or a body of doctrines regarded as having been established by Christ or the apostles though not contained in Scripture We can already see the deception in traditions and that deception is evident because these traditions are NOT ANCHORED in SCRIPTURE. This is a prime example of building your house on shifting sand, as shown in scripture here: Matthew 7:26 - And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: As you can see, Jesus is telling His disciples that if they do NOT OBEY the Lord Jesus Christ, that person is foolish. We can find the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ throughout scripture. So if we do things that are NOT what Jesus tells us to do, then we are indeed FOOLISH, and you can see in these traditions that we will show you that many of those traditions ARE foolish. IF we are in Christ, who is our ROCK, we will not be deceived, but if we make up things that are NOT in scripture, you can be deceived into thinking that what you are doing is of God when it is not. We are to always consult with HIM about everything we do, as this will keep us and not send us to an eternity without Him. 10

12 And it gets worse. Christians are ignorantly following the world s dictates We have so-called Christians trying to co-exist with the devil by trying to make Halloween a little more palatable for everyone. Instead of confronting the evil and driving it out, these people that we will show in a moment are making excuses for the devil, not realizing that the devil is laughing himself silly because of these deluded Christians. I submit to you that if YOU are doing any of these things that we will highlight, you are NOT a Christian at all; you are a churchgoer. A TRUE follower of the Lord Jesus Christ would NEVER do any of these things. You are trying to co-exist with the devil, and Jesus commands us to resist the devil and he will flee from you. Coexisting with the devil is a new age philosophy that wants you to accept the devil s dictates and then learn to live with him. What this doctrine does NOT tell you is that many people are already bund and subjugated by the devil, so why on earth would we trade our freedom in Christ to live with the devil? You have to understand that the devil is evil, but he is also lazy. He will trick you into giving up your birthright in Christ so he doesn t have to do anything. You would have willingly given yourself to the devil when the Lord Jesus Christ tells us to RESIST the devil. So, which command are you going to carry out, Christian? 11

13 This is something that a Christian parent should NOT be doing at all. Why? It is because the parents are ignorantly putting their children at risk, as the devil can claim legal ownership of the children. By celebrating halloween, and by having these children dress up in costumes, this is an overt agreement with the spirit of halloween, and that spirit of halloween will canuse the spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, to withdraw from not only the children, but the parents and the household, letting the devil take over that household. Celebration of Halloween is the agreement of the parents to turn away from the Lord Jesus Christ and turn to the devil, as he uses fun as a means to take over lives. After celebrating halloween, the parents have given over their children and household to the devil. The devil will play his cards close to the vest, and he will NOT do anything overtly to the household, and that is because he knows the parents are ignorant and they have no idea that he has taken over their household. The remedy: repent of your deeds because they were done in ignorance and ask Jesus to forgive you for that ignorance. You will then need to renouce that halloween spirit in your family and home, and expect that the devil will act up and act a fool as you are getting rid of him from your family and household. 12

14 What you see above are babblings from fools that do NOT know the Lord Jesus Christ. In most cases, these people are athiests, wiccans or pagans, and they call halloween Christian whe it is not. How many Christians are listening to this drivel and really believe that halloween is just a celebration of all of the saints who didn t have their own days? We can see the pagans and Roman Catholic Church all over this graphic above, as they do not follow the Lord Jesus Christ; Catholics they follow the Pope, who is the Vicar of Christ. If you haven t figured out by now, the Pope is EVIL and there is no such thing as a pope in the Bible. We are to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and OBEY His commands as He guides us and sustains us while we are being sanctified so we can make it into the Kingdom of God. As you can clearly see, the world will indoctrinate you into believeing that what is of the devil is of God and many who are ignorant will fall for this deception. This is the same way that many will fall for the deception of the getting the mark of the beast, and they will be damned for eternity. Many so-called Christian who do not know better are going to die and be sent away from the Lord Jesus Christ to hell because they do NOT have the Lord s spirit, but the devil s spirit in them because they chose to celebrate halloween. The remedy: ask jesus to forgive you for sinning against Him and renounce the spirit of the world as well as the halloween spirit so you can be cleaned up. You then need to turn away from this foolishness and follow the Lord Jesus Christ completely, obeying what He is telling you to do. 13

15 Here we have another deceived author, as they want you to reclaim the halloween holiday. Why would we want to reclaim that which is of the devil? In this book, you can see that the author does all they can to co-exist with the devil. Now why is that? It is because the author may be Catholic, and as we have seen before, many Catholics think that halloween is just harmless fun, not knowing that their acceptance of halloween is a rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture makes it very clear in the Old Testament as well as the new that we are NOT to have anything to do with evil and darkness, but we are to shine the LIGHT of the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do. How is trying to reclaim halloween shining ANY light from Jesus? Why would we want to reclaim that stank, nasty, holiday in the first place? Many people in this world are deceived because they will NOT at least ask Jesus what He thinks about this holiday, and this is why we see so many on the broad path to destruction and very few that find the road to the Kingdom of God. The Lord tells us that hell is enlarging herself to take in all of the people who have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ through holidays like this one. 14

16 Here we have another deceived author who is trying to tell people how they can draw their children closer to God with Halloween activities. What God are they talking about? How is it that this person thinks they can have demonic and dark activities that will bring children to the light? This author is ignorant of the scriptures, as we will re-post here: 1 Corinthians 10: But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? As you can plainly see, what this author is proposing is impossible. We are to turn away from the darkness and embrace the light as Christians. Following these things will not only damn your children, it will damn you as well if you embrace and follow what this author is proposing. Remedy: keep your eyes upon Jesus and follow Him, no matter what. Turn away from all others and stay in Jesus and obey His commandments to you 15

17 OK, this guy is pure evil, and what he is saying to you is true many of you that are Christians are getting your children to worship the devil, giving the devil LEGAL authority to torment and destroy your child. Guess what, Christian? YOU will be held accountable for that child being destroyed, and if you do not have a good reason why you let that devil have your child (which you will not), you will join that child in hell that you sent there. Yes, those are pretty harsh words, and as Christians, we have to be vigilant and alert so that we do not allow the devil to overtake us. In this case with Halloween, the devil doesn t even have to try hard to damn you. You are serving up your children, your spouse, and your household to the devil and allowing him to take it without a fight!! And all of this is done in in the name of harmless fun. O foolish Christian, who has bewitched you? 16

18 Here we have a company that is selling templates for pumpkin carving. Is it any more holy to put Jesus on a pumpkin when this is a tradition of devils? How are you going to mix the holy with the profane and think that this is holy? It is pretty obvious that this company has not learned how to NOT mix the clean with the unclean, as this profanes the name of Jesus. Jesus is not going to be too happy with that, as these people will have to answer for this when they are judged. What defense would you have for this? There is no defense, as there is NO mixing the clean with the unclean, and that person who thought this up as well as those who are following these practices are not going to like where they will end up. 17

19 This woman is a Catholic, and you can see in her blog how she downplays the issues with Halloween. This is what a lukewarm Christian would do, and since this woman is Catholic, she does NOT know Jesus and she does NOT know scripture (which is not surprising, as the Catholic Church discourages people from reading the Bible for themselves). For those Christians out there, do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what this person has blogged about. She is ignorant of the dangers that she is putting her children in and she needs to get OUT of the Catholic Church and get with Jesus so she can be saved as well as her family. As you can see, this woman means well, but she is totally deluded. Jesus is NOT going to honour anyone who cozies up to the devil and will NOT confront him. Christians are commanded by Jesus to confront and resist the devil and make the devil flee from you. 18

20 Many of you are eating foods sacrificed unto idols, and the Lord vehemently frowns on us doing these things. Of course, many of you are familiar with the Halloween candy, so as the trick or treating is done, the children scarf down the candy all in the name of fun. What many do not know is that the candy has been prayed over with a spell, and now since the people have ingested it, the spells have LEGAL RIGHT to be worked on the ones who ate the candy. If nothing else, this is why you should ALWAYS pray over what you eat before you eat it, as the Holy Ghost will tell you to NOT eat a food if it has been defiled. Many of the people eating these foods are ignorant of this, so their bodies are defiled because they ate foods that had a spell on them. We firmly believe that this is why many people have medical problems later in life, and that is because they gave the devil the Legal authority to destroy them when they ate foods like this. Remedy: ask the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, as you were ignorant and repent of eating the devil s foods. Also ask the Lord Jesus Christ to search your soul and body and identify if there are any legal intrusions by the devil and close those off by renouncing any legal avenues that you have given the devil and then cast out any demons who are hiding using the legal avenues that you have given them. 19

21 Halloween is BIG business Many establishments make a killing on the Halloween tradition, and so you will see many businesses plan to sell a lot of merchandise for Halloween. You see this represented as the Halloween Season in many places, and these people are going to make a lot of money as you sell yourselves to the devil by celebrating Halloween. This season is supposed to be fun, right? It is just a means for people to get together and have a party, dressed up like their favourite superhero or stars (which is idolatry, by the way), and then drink and be merry. You see the media play this up and you see decorations being made by people who use these decorations to adorn their houses, their lawns and their cubicles at work. There may even be Halloween parties at work that you may attend. Has anyone ever wondered why this is such a good business? What does Jesus have to say about all of this? Why are Christians following what is clearly of the devil? Is having fun overriding the common sense of Christians? O foolish Christian, who has bewitched you? 20

22 The Spirit of the Lord is telling you, Christian, to STOP with the traditions and rituals of halloween. The Lord absolutely DETESTS halloween, as this is one of the devil s highest holy days. NO Christian or follower of Christ would ever forsake their salvation by following this trash. The devil is deceiving you into throwing away your salvation with Jesus in exchange for a little fun. This was the biggest problem that the Lord of Hosts had with the Israelites and the Children of Israel. They were constantly wanting to have fun at the most inopportune times. You saw this when Moses came back from the mount with the 10 commandments and the people made idols for themselves and were dancing around, as you can see in scripture here: Exodus 32:19 - And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. As you can see, the Children of Israel wanted to have fun, and if you look closely, fun is the entry point for the devil to bind and enslave the people. Does the Lord NOT want people to have fun? To say that He doesn t would be disingenuous; however, the Lord does want His people to rest and be satisfied in Him. In other words, we should have the joy and peace that the Lord Jesus Christ gives His disciples as they exist IN Him. Traditions are a means to pull worship and attention away from the Lord when the Lord wants His people to be IN Him at all times. Rituals and rites that are a part of traditions are a testament to what the Lord HATES. 21

23 Christians, if you are serious about being a disciple of Christ, turn away from this abomination and tell the Lord Jesus Christ you are sorry. Repent and be cleansed of this abomination. Do NOT let your children dress up, or they will be cursed too. Renounce what you have done, and ask Jesus to help you close the open doors to the devil that the devil will use to make your life a living hell. Christian, you have been told. 22

24 Here is Our Challenge to all of you: We challenge you to go to Jesus directly RIGHT NOW and ask Him if what is shown here is true. Use this as a means to start a conversation with The Lord Jesus Christ and sit with Him and ask Him questions. Start with (asking out loud): Jesus, is what I just read true? He will answer you, Christian; use this as an opportunity to start the conversation with the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep talking with Him. Get to know Him and He will start to reveal Himself to you. You need to find out for yourself if what you support or believe is true, and what better way to find out than to ask the Lord Himself? You need to find out for yourself and work out YOUR salvation for YOU, as the scriptures tell us to. 23

25 Get into the FIGHT After you have gotten right with the Lord and secured your household, you can continue your service to the Lord by getting into the fight. You already have experience casting out devils, and standing up to Jezebel; you are fiercely defending your household against all threats and you have overcome them. Your household is in order; you family is in order; there is peace in your household, and all defiling elements have been dealt with for now. So what do you do? Stay in the fight!! You have already made a reputation for yourself and the demons will leave you alone because you have stood up to them! I ll give you an example of a household that has fought this fight. The Granger household consists of a husband and a wife with no children (yet). The husband has battled with Jezebel, who manifested in his wife, and after a few battles, Jezebel is leaving the husband and the wife alone. Although Jezebel grumbles that the husband is too smug for her tastes, and she wants to cut off his balls and stuff them down his throat, she is all talk because she has no stomach to fight this man anymore for his household. 24

26 THAT is where you want to be, Christian. The husband has had to teach his wife about casting out demons and how to defend herself against attacks by using her Recompensatory prayers, which she has used to beat off the offenders. The wife, now emboldened because she has seen her husband deal with the demons that plagued her, was afraid at first; now, she is, in her own words, folding the demons like a cheap suit and stuffing them into a trash can. The wife overcame ALL fear of the demons that have plagued her since she was a child and now she is exerting HER authority as a member of a household that is in order and a marriage that is in order. You see, when there is order, there is POWER, and the devil and his cohorts only recognize power. Do they have more power than you? You have an advocate in Jesus, as He will grant you the power and authority you need to continue the fight. Do what he tells you to do, and He will grant you the power you need plus more, if He feels you are worthy of it. You do not have to be a preacher, or an apostle, or a bishop to continue the fight against the devil. You can take on roles that are important that you can comfortably do. As always, take this to the Lord and ask Him directly what you can do for Him. 25

27 Become a martyr Another type of person who plays a role in the fight is one of a martyr. So what is a martyr? A martyr is defined as: 1. a person who willingly suffers death rather than renounce his or her religion. 2. a person who is put to death or endures great suffering on behalf of any belief, principle, or cause: 3. a person who undergoes severe or constant suffering: In the Bible, a martyr is defined as a witness. You may say that a martyr is one that will give up his/her life for others willingly even if they get killed in the process. I would say that a martyr is akin to the Marines, as they storm the beaches and assault the enemy. The martyr corps will be the ones that will go back into the cities to rescue trapped saints of God when the devil cuts off all means of being able to escape when things collapse. 26

28 The martyrs are the ones that will assault the devil face to face, using weapons they have been specially trained to use. The martyrs know the score when they volunteer, and they are aware that every mission that they are sent on may be their last mission. They know that they can get killed at any time, and are willing to go where others are afraid to tread. In the bible, most martyrs are killed by the enemy, but not before the martyrs inflict heavy damage to the devil s forces. The first martyr we read about is Stephen, and an account of his martyrdom is found in Acts Chapters 6 and 7. You can read about him in your own study time. Notice how Jesus not only let Stephen get killed, as he was after Saul, who recorded this in Acts 22:20, but Stephen was a man who had great power and was full of the Holy Ghost (Acts 6:8). What did Stephen do that caused him to be brought up on charges that cost him his life? He proclaimed the gospel, healed the sick and cast out devils as Jesus has asked all of his disciples to do. This is what I meant by being on the front lines. Stephen was unafraid to go and do the work that Jesus had for his disciples who was to confront the devil and use extreme prejudice to get those who the Lord wants out from the enslavement of the devil with POWER. He went into the belly of the beast unafraid and alone, and look what it took to bring him down. I personally like Stephen and what he did. Stephen is the prototype of what a martyr will and can do. If Stephen alone did such a good job that the devil had to kill him, what do you think a whole corps of martyrs will do? The devil so despised Stephen, he had him arrested on trumped up charges. During the trial, Stephen was so full of the Holy Ghost, that he actually glowed (Acts 6:15). I don t know about you, but THAT is the way I want to go when my time is up. Never mind the cowering bit; I want to step up to the devil boldly, stomp his guts out, shake the dust off my feet and then stomp his guts out again, just for good measure. If you were ever in the military, and you have gone through the training, you would be a good fit for this job (even if you did not serve in the military, the Lord could use you if you ask Him). Not only will you get to fight the enemy face to face, hand to hand, up close and personal, you have a commander in Chief that is The Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and he does NOT forget the things that His Martyr corps does, unlike the armed services in America or wherever you are from. The martyr corps is the best of the best and full of the Holy Ghost. The devil most fears the martyr corps because of the power they have in Christ. How do I know that the devil fears the martyr corps? It is because the devil does not hesitate to kill them. You can see all throughout the book of Acts and Revelation that the martyrs are the ones that are killed. 27

29 Why? The devil cannot stand up to the power that they have, so to save himself and his piddly little kingdom, the devil has them killed. The martyrs walk in and destroy the devil s kingdom, nuking everything and laying it to waste. The devil cannot stop them using his usual trickery, so he has them killed, usually by confederates who are religious. In Revelations, you can see that the Harlot drinks the blood of the saints and the martyrs (Revelation 17:6). Why did the Lord make a distinction between the saints and the martyrs? It looks to me like the martyrs were more of a threat, as they normally destroy everything in sight that is demonic. Notice it is the Harlot, or the religious church, that is killing these people. We saw that in Stephen s time, and we will see it again during the end times. Not everyone is cut out to be a martyr, but you can always ask Jesus to put you in His martyr corps or wherever He feels you would fit the best. If you like impossible missions against impossible odds, this is the place for you. As I said before, to all of the people who were in the military that were sent to hellholes like Afghanistan and Iraq, this is the place for you. Get on your knees and ask and beg the Lord Jesus to clean you up for service. Ask him to train you in all of the weapons that are available to the martyr corps so you will be productive. Ask Jesus to clean you up so you are off of all of the chems that the armed services give their members who are not useful to them anymore until they are discharged. If you do this, your PTSD will subside; you will also be able to get the blood of those you killed in the name of the military off of your hands so you will have peace. You can then get your payback against the devil who was using you to bring over his hordes of demons to this realm using the death or sacrifice(s) of those you killed for the military, who care nothing about you. Look at the VA and then tell me I am wrong. The people you were fighting for has the military protect their pipelines and poppy fields so they can enslave more people with their drugs, and then they give you a medal for your service, even if you got hurt or injured during your service. This is a DIRTY deal that many have taken because that is the only deal they can get. If you are going to fight, fight for a TRUE cause and kingdom. Ask Jesus to allow you into His corps. 28

30 This book is freely given As you have read this book, it is filled with a lot of information about a lot of things. This book has been broken up into parts and those parts are also books that you can download for FREE so you can study the parts and get a better understanding of what the Lord is trying to tell you. As was mentioned before, this book is freely given to all who want it. This was done on purpose, Christian, so you will be able to get what you need when you need it. Better yet, you can download the portion you have questions on and ask the Lord yourself what this means. As I stated before, the Lord if Hosts Himself has commissioned these books so you will get the unfiltered truth, and not a truth coloured by denomination, or seminary teaching, or by a scholarly look. The language was pretty blunt in this book, and that will continue in all of the books you can download freely. Remember, the Lord of Hosts has sanctioned these books for YOUR edification, warts and all.
