FAITH IN ALL THINGS (FIAT) WOMEN S STUDY GROUP: FIAT is a study group for women that meets every other Saturday morning at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish (1150 W. Centre Ave., Portage, MI 49024) from 10 to 11:30 am in Rm. 9 & 11. We will begin on Saturday, September 8th. Our program for the fall is titled Philippians: Life in Christ by Dr. Tim Gray a 7 part journey based on the Lectio series from the Augustine Institute. All women are invited to join us! BAGS AND BOXES NEEDED The Rummage Sale committee is asking you to save brown paper bags with handles and cardboard boxes (11X17.5), the size that reams of paper come in. Please bring in your bags and boxes the weekend of July 30, when the collection of items for the Rummage Sale begins. Thank you! RUMMAGE SALE 2018 The sale dates this year will be August 9-11; please tell your friends and neighbors. Set-up will occur after the 8:00a.m. Mass on July 29. Donations will be accepted July 30-Aug 4. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year. The funds raised from this event will be added to our Maintenance & Improvement fund (formerly known as the Building Loan Fund) for expenses we know are in our futuree.g., roof & parking lot repairs, lights etc. This is an optimal time for everyone to demonstrate stewardship by sharing their TIME and TALENT to support this huge effort. Many hands make light work-please consider volunteering. If you are unable to work on the sale, please consider providing food for the workers-e.g., lunch or dinner items. Volunteer sign-up sheets will be available in July. Please note that we cannot accept TV s, computers, Christmas Trees, tires and certain other items due to disposal difficulties if they do not sell. A complete list will be posted in the Parish Hall during the collection dates. We will not be accepting donations after the start of the sale. ST.
